In April 2021, Professor Gruber, along with her TTU colleague <a href="https://www.professorwatchlist.org/professor/andrewsmith">Professor Andrew Smith</a>, <a href="https://www.tpusa.com/live/tpusa-advisor-attacked-by-leftwing-activist-colleagues-on-tennessee-tech-campus">attacked TPUSA students at TTU</a> and the chapter’s TTU faculty advisor, Tennessee Tech<a href="https://blogs.tntech.edu/techtimes/2019/people/faculty-fresh-face-andrew-aj-donadio/"> Professor Andrew Donadio</a>. Specifically, Professor Gruber hung flyers around the TTU campus accusing  the TPUSA chapter of harassing and terrorizing “persons of color, feminists, liberals, and teachers.” Professor Gruber also claims that TPUSA students and their advisor are “on our list” and are not welcome at the university.

To justify her assault against the TPUSA students and Professor Donadio, Gruber claims that “it’s not bad to call someone a racist.” In the same interview, Gruber claims that anyone who grew up in America “grew up being racist.”

Dr. Julia Gruber and Andrew Smith have <a href="https://www.scribd.com/document/530376660/Gruber-and-Smith-v-Tennessee-Tech-University">filed a lawsuit against Tennessee Tech University</a>. In the suit–filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee–both allege that TTU has infringed upon their freedom of speech and seek to remove any disciplinary action the university has placed against them.

In 2016, Mr. Lee hosted a presentation in a business relationship class that labeled phrases such as, “American is a melting pot,” as “microaggressions.”

Harvard Professor Chester M. Pierce—who first coined the phrase—<a href="https://www.vox.com/2015/2/16/8031073/what-are-microaggressions" target="_blank" rel="noopener">defines microaggressions as literal, “racial assaults” on minorities by white people</a>.

“These [racial] assaults to black dignity and black hope are incessant and cumulative. Any single one may be gross. In fact, the major vehicle for racism in this country is offenses done to blacks by whites in this sort of gratuitous neverending way. These offenses are microaggressions.“ - Chester M Pierce

Universities and public officials will often censor words or phrases they consider fit this definition. In 2018, the University of California <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2018/03/17/calling-america-land-opportunity-microaggression-says-university-california/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">labeled the phrase, “America is the land of opportunity,” as a microaggression.</a> In 2021, administrators at Brandeis University <a href="https://www.brandeis.edu/parc/accountability/oppressivelanguagelist_identitybased.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">listed phrases like, “policeman” and, “you guys,” under a University-sponsored “Oppressive Language List</a>.”

Due to a California law passed in 2017, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/california-law-allows-prison-using-wrong-gender-ryan-saavedra" target="_blank" rel="noopener">failure to refer to a person’s preferred gender pronouns is now a jailable offense</a>. Those convicted may be sentenced for up to a year in jail.

Mr. Lee likewise <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/saying-america-melting-pot-microaggression-purdue-class-teaches/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">urges students to curtail speech he considers to be microaggressions. </a>Several examples included the following:

- Asking a student, “Where are you from?”

- “You are so articulate.”

- “America is a melting pot”

- “There is only one race, the human race”

- “When I look at you, I don’t see color”

- “I’m not racist, I have several black friends”

- “I believe that the most qualified person should get the job.”

- “Everyone can succeed in this society if they work hard enough.”

- Using the pronoun, “he” to refer to all people.

During the same lecture, Mr. Lee claimed “hundreds” of active hate groups are operating in the United States today. He was referencing data compiled by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a self-ordained civil rights <a href="https://www.splcenter.org/what-we-do" target="_blank" rel="noopener">group</a> whose objective is purportedly the dismantlement of white supremacy.

Despite its mission statement, the organization effectively operates as a left-wing think tank. As City Journal notes, the SPLC operated “Hatewatch” exists to publish<a href="https://www.city-journal.org/html/demagogic-bully-15370.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> partisan attacks on groups with right-of-center positions</a>. Conservative groups are labeled as extremists, while destructive, Left-wing organizations like Antifa are virtually ignored.

Thanks to its prolific fundraising operations, the organization has successfully monetized its left-wing smear campaigns. The <a href="https://freebeacon.com/issues/southern-poverty-surpasses-half-billion-in-assets-121-million-now-offshore/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">SPLC’s assets exceed half a billion dollars</a> with $121 million residing in offshore bank accounts alone.

Mr. Lee’s goals, as written in his presentation, include, “teaching students to understand and accept people’s similarities and differences and learn to treat everyone with dignity and respect.” Following the presentation, The College Fix also reports that Mr. Lee assigned students an exercise titled “Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Class Bingo,” which aimed to highlight their differences.

Fair was the subject of a <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7dAQe1s5ZVka3hXLURodG1WQkU/view">complaint</a> filed by a colleague for “harassment, abuse, hate, and cyberbullying.”  After <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4069936/Georgetown-prof-C-Christine-Fair-went-meltdown-Muslim-ex-colleague-Asra-Q-Nomani-admitted-voting-Donald-Trump.html">Asra Nomani</a>, who is Muslim, said she voted for Trump because of her problems with Obamacare, Fair went on a month-long rant against Nomani, including calling her various insulting names in her native Urdu, claiming Nomani had “pimped” herself out, as well as saying "F*** you".

Fair is also known for her vulgar and carnal tweets directed at conservatives. During the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in the fall of 2018, Fair <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=11369">launched</a> into a racially tinged tirade on her <a href="https://twitter.com/CChristineFair?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor">Twitter</a> account, accusing Republicans of enabling a rapist and calling for their castration in a series of tweets,

Though he is widely known for his extremely controversial and extreme opinions, constantly referring to how much he hates cops. Though he may have taken it a step too far with of of his latest, stating, “Yes, ALL white people are racist. Yes, ALL men are sexist. Yes, ALL cis people are transphobic. We have to unpack that. That's the work!”

In an interview with<a href="https://video.foxnews.com/v/5308799067001#sp=show-clips"> Tucker Carlson</a>, he has also asked for whites to pay reparations to black communities to offset America’s legacy of racism. During a<a href="https://www.c-span.org/video/?445812-1/aurea-foundation-hosts-munk-debate-political-correctness"> debate</a> on political correctness in 2018 with Professor Jordan Peterson, Dyson repeatedly referred to Peterson as just a “mean, mad, old, white, man.” 

Just prior to Independence Day 2019, Dyson appeared on<a href="https://www.mediaite.com/politics/michael-eric-dyson-on-betsy-ross-flag-symbolism-why-dont-we-wear-a-swastika-for-july-fourth/"> MSNBC </a>and compared the iconic Betsy Ross Flag to a Nazi Swastika,

Dyson is also associated with the notorious anti-Semite and Nation of Islam leader, Louis Farrakhan. In 2010, Dyson<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ULAThBZKiM"> participated</a> in a roundtable discussion hosted by PBS with Farrakhan and<a href="http://www.finalcall.com/artman/publish/Minister_Louis_Farrakhan_9/article_7248.shtml"> interviewed</a> him the same year about the economic condition of black communities.

<a href="https://gufaculty360.georgetown.edu/s/contact/00336000014U15mAAC/peter-strzok-ii">Peter Strzok</a> is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/news/peter-strzok-hired-to-teach-counterintelligence-at-georgetown-university/">Strzok was recently hired</a> by the Walsh School of Foreign Service and teaches <a href="https://gufaculty360.georgetown.edu/s/course-catalog/a1o1Q00000271IyQAI/ipol32301?id=00336000014U15mAAC">Counterintelligence and National Security.</a>

Strzok—a former counterintelligence agent with the FBI—was known for his lead role in the investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election and former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

<a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/declassified-trump-russia-launch-document-authored-by-strzok-and-investigated-by-durham">Strzok launched a counterintelligence operation</a> and obtained multiple warrants to spy on individuals connected to the Trump campaign to determine if the candidate was illegally cultivating ties with Russia. Code-named Operation Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI’s investigation heavily relied on information provided by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele.

Steele had compiled a series of lurid allegations against then-candidate Trump, alleging liabilities to the Kremlin would allow him to be blackmailed by Russia. Referred to as the Steele Dossier, it was <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/clinton-campaign-dnc-paid-for-research-that-led-to-russia-dossier/2017/10/24/226fabf0-b8e4-11e7-a908-a3470754bbb9_story.html?tid=ss_tw&amp;utm_term=.be21b9cb9402">initially paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign</a> before being <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/doj-inspector-general-slams-bruce-ohr-for-consequential-errors-in-judgment">ferried by Bruce Ohr</a> of the Justice Department to the FBI. The Obama Administration was <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/news/dni-releases-cia-documents-on-hillary-clintons-plan-to-tie-trump-campaign-to-russia-to-distract-from-email-scandal/">briefed by CIA director John Brennan</a> about Clinton's attempt to use the dossier as an effort to tie the Trump campaign to Russia. The FBI used Steele as an informant to obtain FISA warrants against campaign surrogates George Papadopoulos and Carter Page.

It was later revealed that Steele’s source for the dossier was a <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fbi-previously-investigated-steele-dossier-source-as-russian-agent">suspected Russian spy</a> and his <a href="https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2020/07/24/meet_steele_dossiers_primary_subsource_fabulist_russian_at_us_think_tank_whose_boozy_past_the_fbi_ignored_124601.html">allegations were unfounded</a>. Despite Steele being removed by the FBI for his misconduct, this information <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/what-to-expect-from-inspector-general-michael-horowitzs-report-on-alleged-fisa-abuses">was withheld from a FISA court when seeking warrants</a> to surveil Papadopoulos and Page. The FBI claimed that Steele was not the source contained in the application while continuing to rely on his allegations.

<a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/04/15/newly-declassified-papadopoulos-transcript-exposes-crossfire-hurricane-corruption/">Papadopoulos</a> was ultimately never charged with colluding with Russia and the warrants issued for Page have been <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/carter-page-fisa-warrant-lacked-probable-cause-declassified-doj-order-finds">found to lack probable cause for surveillance</a>. A top lawyer working for Strzok has <a href="https://nypost.com/2019/11/22/washington-post-quietly-changes-story-on-altered-russia-probe-document/">pleaded guilty to falsifying information</a> in order to obtain a warrant for Page.

Peter Strzok was also instrumental in setting a perjury trap for General Flynn. Initially a target of Crossfire Hurricane, the Bureau soon closed the investigation over a lack of evidence. Strzok then <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/04/30/breaking-fbi-closed-flynn-case-dubbed-crossfire-razor-in-early-2017-until-strzok-ordered-it-to-stay-open/">intervened and immediately reopened</a> the case in early 2017. Hoping to catch <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/04/29/explosive-new-flynn-documents-show-fbi-goal-was-to-get-him-fired/">Flynn in a lie so that he would be fired</a>, Strzok interviewed Flynn over his recent conversation with the Russian Ambassador regarding sanctions. Despite Strzok or then <a href="https://news.yahoo.com/comey-told-obama-flynn-conversations-154702223.html">FBI director James Comey</a> believing that Fynn had not lied or mischaracterized the interaction, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/05/04/your-guide-to-the-obama-administrations-hit-on-michael-flynn/">the FBI charged Flynn with lying under oath</a>. The resultant trial nearly <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/now-imperiled-case-against-flynn-cost-him-millions-of-dollars-his-house-his-job">bankrupted Flynn’s family</a> and is still ongoing.

Throughout 2016 and 2017, Strzok was texting with fellow agent Lisa Page (of whom he was having an affair with at the time) <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/peter-strzok-trump-smell-hillbillies-1020892">his disdain for Trump supporters</a> and his desire to remove Donald Trump for office, referring to a supposed “<a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/devin-nunes-peter-strzoks-insurance-policy-was-about-carter-page-fisa-warrant">insurance policy</a>” should he win the election. Strzok, then working with Robert Mueller, coordinated with Lisa Page t<a href="https://www.heritage.org/crime-and-justice/commentary/newly-disclosed-strzok-page-texts-shed-new-light-media-leak-strategy">o selectively leak information</a> about investigations to potentially obtain further warrants.

Strzok was soon <a href="https://apnews.com/article/fc94343ce2ace8e855cf7ef7efe9c8bf">removed from Mueller's team</a> once his communications were discovered, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2018/12/13/doj-destroyed-missing-strzok-page-text-messages-before-ig-reviewed-them/">but wiped his phone</a> before it could be reviewed for any further potentially incriminating texts. <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/fbi-agent-peter-strzok-who-sent-anti-trump-tweets-fired-n900161">He was later fired</a> by the FBI and <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/gregg-jarrett-ig-report-shows-fbi-misconduct-and-abuses-in-anti-trump-probe-of-russia-collusion-hoax">excoriated by an Inspector General’s report</a> over his partisan activities on a government-issued phone.

Throughout his career, Strzok has vindictively wielded the power of the state for his own purposes. To this day, he remains unrepentant and has <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/compromised-peter-strzok-on-investigating-the-trump-campaign/">repeatedly defended his actions</a>, even <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Untitled-Houghton-Mifflin-Harcourt/dp/0358237068">authoring a book</a> accusing the president of being compromised by Vladimir Putin.

Strzok’s texts to Lisa Page demonstrate a clear bias against conservatives, extending far beyond mere words. Strzok has repeatedly and flagrantly discriminated against conservatives.

Acting with impunity, Strzok and his team lied, falsified evidence, spied on, and attempted to bankrupt those serving on a presidential campaign that he opposed. As a professor, Strzok will hold the pivotal role of mentoring future leaders of the intelligence and law enforcement community— the same community whose principles he flagrantly violated. He will also hold the grades of his conservative students in a vice, subject to his personal prejudice. As someone that has demonstrated seemingly no prior hesitation in targeting conservatives, there is no reason to believe that Strzok will not place future students in his crosshairs.

Mr. <a href="https://gufaculty360.georgetown.edu/s/contact/0031Q00002Ad6npQAB/josh-ruebner">Josh Ruebner</a> is an adjunct faculty member in the <a href="https://justiceandpeace.georgetown.edu/">Program on Justice and Peace</a> at Georgetown University. According to Georgetown's website, the goal of the Justice and Peace Program is to produce “practically useful scholarships on how to create a more just and peaceful world.” In addition to his teaching roles, Ruebner is a Managing Director for the organization <a href="https://www.ampalestine.org/about-amp/staff">American Muslims for Palestine (AMP)</a>.

Mr. Ruebner has served in the Congressional Research Service (CRS), which provides policy analysis on behalf of committees in both the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate. As a member of the CRS, Mr. Ruebner co-authored <a href="https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metacrs1535/m1/1/high_res_d/RL30713_2001Jan05.pdf">The Current Palestinian Uprising: Al-Aqsa Intifadah</a>, in which he accuses Israel of disproportionate use of force against Palestinians. Ruebner has also <a href="https://joshruebner.com/jewish-anti-occupation-group-lobbies-u-s/">sponsored</a> congressional staff members on a trip to the West Bank to advocate cutting off economic aid to Israel.

In 2018, Mr. Ruebner authored a book titled <a href="https://www.interlinkbooks.com/product/israel/">Israel: Democracy or Apartheid State?</a> In an event for the book’s release hosted by <a href="https://thejerusalemfund.org/category/pc">The Palestine Center</a>—a Palestinian advocacy organization based in Washington, D.C.—Mr. Ruebner <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqvfPNDwF70&amp;ab_channel=TheJerusalemFund%26PalestineCenter">accuses</a> Israel of enacting policies similar to apartheid-era South Africa.

In a promotional interview with the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVcp4FkHcV-YGI7F-MsY-YQ">Portland Media Center</a>, Mr. Ruebner further <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uU1fqAQBozo&amp;ab_channel=PortlandMediaCenter">accuses the United States of complicity in Israel's human rights violations</a>.

Mr. Ruebner alleges that terrorist attacks committed against America are directly linked to ties with Israel. In a December 2002 article titled <a href="https://www.counterpunch.org/2002/12/10/striking-with-impunity/">Striking with Impunity</a>, he states that America is guilty of war crimes for providing military aid to Israel—claiming Israel uses this equipment to commit human rights abuses. Mr. Ruebner asks the readers in the same article, how many more “towers need to fall?”—in reference to the horrific September 11th terrorist attacks—before America stops supporting Israel.

<a href="https://www.ampalestine.org/about-amp/staff">As a Managing Director for AMP</a>, Mr. Ruebner oversees staff management, organizational planning, and development. <a href="https://www.ampalestine.org/about-amp/statement-of-principles">According to their website, AMP seeks</a> to “highlight Israel’s flagrant and continual violations of international law and human rights abuses.” According to the watchdog source <a href="https://www.investigativeproject.org/4891/investigation-exposes-amp-leaders-ties-to-former">The Investigative Project on Terrorism</a>, AMP can be linked to multiple terrorist organizations. Additionally, various speakers featured at AMP conferences have repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel.

Mr. <a href="https://joshruebner.com/uscpr/">Ruebner also served</a> as the Policy Director of the <a href="https://uscpr.org/">US Campaign for Palestinian Rights</a> (USCPR) from 2013 to 2019. <a href="https://uscpr.org/about-us/">According to their website</a>, USCPR seeks to end “U.S. complicity in Israel’s oppression of the Palestinian people” and to “stop U.S. support for Israel until it ends its denial of Palestinian rights.”

According to his university biography, Dr. Rickford “specializes in African-American political culture after World War II, the Black Radical Tradition, and transnational social movements.” In his various writings and teaching materials, Dr. Rickford frequently condemns the nation of Israel and alleges that the United States was founded on slavery and white supremacy.

In a paper for The New Labor Forum (a labor journal published by the <a href="https://slu.cuny.edu/about/murphy-institute/">Murphy Institute</a> at the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies) titled <a href="https://newlaborforum.cuny.edu/2015/12/28/black-lives-matter-practice-of-mass-struggle/">Black Lives Matter: Toward a Modern Practice of Mass Struggle</a>, Dr. Rickford praises the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement as having “reinvigorated confrontation politics.” He describes the tactics of BLM as a commitment to “militancy,” referencing their history of “occupying highways, intersections, sporting events, retail stores, malls, campaign events, police stations, and municipal buildings.”

According to a <a href="https://acleddata.com/2020/09/03/demonstrations-political-violence-in-america-new-data-for-summer-2020/">study conducted by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED)</a>, BLM can be linked to  95% of the riots around the country–notably in Summer 2020 following the death of George Floyd. In an analysis of the study, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/">The Federalist</a> found that “of the 633 incidents coded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter Activists.” The resulting riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion.">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>

Dr. Rickford believes the motivations behind BLM riots are “police aggression and racist violence” instigated by law enforcement.  Dr. Rickford claims that white supremacy serves as the framework of our criminal justice system—causing law enforcement agencies to view BLM protestors as “enemy combatants.”

Dr. Monger further uses his classroom to intimidate and bully students if they fail to adhere to Cornell’s COVID-19 policies. In a letter from October of 2021, the professor asks for help in identifying a “hook-nosed” student. He threatens to flunk him, as well as another student who allegedly did not wear their mask in class.

In July of 2021, the university <a href="https://covid.cornell.edu/updates/20210730-indoor-masks.cfm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">mandated masks to be worn indoors at all times, regardless of vaccination status</a>. Cornell additionally <a href="https://covid.cornell.edu/vaccines/vaccination-cornell/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">requires students to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend classes</a>.

In the course-wide email—obtained by the Twitter handle “<a href="https://twitter.com/libsoftiktok/status/1455022824620376066?s=21" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Libs of Tik-Tok</a>”—Dr. Monger asks for help identifying two students who did not wear masks during the previous class period:

“I wanted to ask for your help in identifying two oceans students who were photographed with their masks off during the oceans class last Friday.”

Dr. Monger proceeds to detail the physical appearance of both students, stating that one had “a fairly prominent hooked nose.” He threatens to fail both students once they are identified by himself or another student.

“If/when I identify the students, I will be failing both of them for the semester as promised I would in class last Wednesday.”

When the email received significant media attention, Cornell University released a statement defending Dr. Monger. The University announced that Dr. Monger had acknowledged that he did not handle the situation in an “appropriate manner.” However, they still acknowledged his right to note the “potential consequences for failing to comply” with COVID-19 restrictions in his classroom.

Dr. <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/ethnicstudies/people/core-faculty/jennifer-ho">Jennifer Ho</a> is a Professor of Asian American Studies and Director of the Center for Humanities &amp; the Arts at the University of Colorado-Boulder. According to her university <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/ethnicstudies/people/core-faculty/jennifer-ho">biography</a>, Professor Ho’s research interests include cultural studies, intersectionality, critical race studies, anti-racist theory, and critical mixed race studies.
Critical Theory, or Critical Race Theory, is an intellectual branch of Marxism that alleges American society and all of its founding institutions are infected with white supremacy. Furthermore, proponents of Critical Race Theory believe that people should take proactive steps to dismantle these institutions in the name of equity, which is also referred to as being “anti-racist.” Some Critical Race Theorists, such as Nikole Hannah-Jones, also <a href="https://reason.com/2020/09/23/1619-project-nikole-hannah-jones-1776-founding-race-new-york-times/">claim</a> that America’s real founding was in 1619 when the first slave stepped foot in North America, and not 1776 when the American colonies declared independence from England.
In an <a href="https://theconversation.com/white-supremacy-is-the-root-of-all-race-related-violence-in-the-us-157566">article</a> for The Conversation, titled, “White Supremacy is the Root of all race-related violence in the US,” Professor Ho alleges that all hate crimes committed in the United States are the result of white supremacy. The article is her response to the March 16th, 2021 <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/3-dead-shooting-georgia-massage-parlor-suspect-loose-n1261262">mass shooting</a> of massage parlors in Atlanta, George, that killed eight people, six of them being Asian-Americans.
Professor Ho attributes not just the March 2021 Atlanta shootings to white supremacy, but she actually attributes all hate crimes to white supremacy, regardless of whether or not they were committed by a white person. <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/ethnicstudies/people/core-faculty/reiland-rabaka" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Reiland Rabaka</a> is a Professor of Africana Studies as well as Critical Race, Class, Gender, and Sexuality Studies in the <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/ethnicstudies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Department of Ethnic Studies</a> at the <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">University of Colorado at Boulder</a>. He also serves as <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/humanities/reiland-rabaka" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Professor of Humanities</a> in the <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/artsandsciences/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">College of Arts and Sciences</a>.

Dr. Rabaka identifies publicly as a “democratic socialist” and a scholar of fields such as “black radical politics,” decolonial theory, and critical race theory. His lectures depict the United States as an inherently white-supremacist nation and herald the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement as a necessary counter to systematic racism.

In a video sponsored by the university, Dr. Rabaka describes American society as having <a href="https://www.coursera.org/lecture/antiracism-2/dr-reiland-rabaka-interventions-in-racist-terminologies-qp12a" target="_blank" rel="noopener">culminated in the “social, economic, spiritual, and cultural” death of black people</a>. He attributes this to our nation's alleged addiction to “black death.”

He repeated this accusation during a lecture for Florida Gulf Coast University’s <a href="https://www.fgcu.edu/ccres/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Center for Critical Race and Ethnic Studies</a>. During the event—hosted by professor and the Center Director, <a href="https://www.fgcu.edu/directory/tthornhill">Dr. Ted Thornill</a>—Dr. Rabaka <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsS6RAfiesI&amp;ab_channel=FGCUUniversityMarketingCommunications" target="_blank" rel="noopener">characterizes the nation as a “colonial project” that was built on racial and economic enslavement</a>.

Dr. Rabaka addresses BLM at length during the Q&amp;A section, characterizing the movement as a response to the nation’s “deeply entrenched racism.” At one point, a member of the audience asks Dr. Rabaka how he would respond if BLM was characterized as a terrorist organization; Rather than answer the question, he proceeds to deflect and counter that Christopher Columbus should be considered a terrorist for committing a “holocaust” against Native Americans. He denounces both the Founding Fathers and Pilgrims in his tirade, accusing each of participating in “racial terrorism.”

Continuing, he urges “white administrators” to invest in BLM-themed curriculums and workshops in order to raise consciousness about the movement. Dr. Rabaka <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/asmagazine/2021/03/02/black-lives-matter-course-aims-foster-campus-transformation" target="_blank" rel="noopener">personally teaches a BLM-themed course at UC-Boulder</a>.

BLM was <a href="https://blacklivesmatter.com/six-years-strong/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">founded following the death</a> of Treyvon Martin and the acquittal of George Zimmerman for his murder. Although purporting to be a civil-rights organization, the movement has been tied to violent confrontations and riots across the country.

According to a <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">study conducted by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED)</a>, BLM can be linked to 95% of the riots around the country–notably in Summer 2020 following the death of George Floyd. In an analysis of the study, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Federalist</a> found, “of the 633 incidents coded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter Activists.” The resulting riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion." target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>

Throughout his lecture, Dr. Rabaka praises Angela Davis and Assata Shakur, whose work he considers instrumental to the BLM movement. Shakur is a former <a href="https://spectatorworld.com/topic/black-lives-matter-praising-terrorist-assata-shakur/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">member of the Black Liberation Army and convicted cop killer</a>. She currently resides in Cuba as a guest of the communist government; authorities have offered 2 million dollars for her capture.

Angela Davis is a former vice-presidential candidate for the Communist Party and early member of the Black Panther Party. Davis is notoriously known for <a href="https://archives.frontpagemag.com/fpm/hollywoods-undying-love-communist-angela-davis-arnold-ahlert/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">her role in the Marin County Civic Center Attack, which left 4 dead</a>.

Another individual Dr. Rabaka praises in his lecture is scholar W.E.B Du Bois. A prominent author at the turn of the 20th century, Du Bois was a life-long adherent to communism, going <a href="https://www.marxists.org/reference/archive/stalin/biographies/1953/03/16.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">so far as to eulogize Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin after his death in 1953</a>.

In a separate lecture at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Reiland+Rabaka+" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Rabaka lauds Du Bois specifically for his contributions to socialism</a>. At one point, the professor displays pictures of Du Bois meeting with Nikita Khrushchev and Mao Zedong, hailing both as proof of Du Bois international standing.

<a href="https://www.britannica.com/biography/Mao-Zedong">Mao</a>—who chaired the Chinese Communist Party from 1935 until his death in 1976—is widely considered one of the deadliest heads of state in history–<a href="https://www.heritage.org/asia/commentary/the-legacy-mao-zedong-mass-murder" target="_blank" rel="noopener">an estimated 65 million Chinese perished from his regime</a>. Dr. Rebecca Fowler is a professor at Washington State University. In her “Introduction to Comparative Ethnic Studies” class, Fowler takes one grade point away when a student uses the phrase “illegal alien” or “illegals.” The goal is that students will “come to recognize how white privilege functions in everyday social structures and institutions.”

Dr. Selena Lester Breikss is an Associate Professor at Washington State University. In her “Women and Popular Culture” class, Breikss threatened to give students a failing grade for using verbiage she considers, “oppressive and hateful language.” The punishment includes, “but [is] not limited to removal from the class without attendance or participation points, failure of the assignment, and— in extreme cases— failure for the semester.”

<a href="https://eeb.arizona.edu/person/john-wiens">Dr. John Wiens</a> is a Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Arizona. A scholar of extinction and evolutionary biology, Wiens joked that Donald Trump should kill himself over his climate and environmental policies.

<a href="https://linguistics.arizona.edu/user/noam-chomsky">Noam Chomsky</a> is a professor of Linguistics at the University of Arizona and, according to MIT, one of the most <a href="https://news.mit.edu/1992/citation-0415#:~:text=From%201972%20to%201992%2C%20Professor,in%20the%20Science%20Citation%20Index.">cited academics in human history</a>.

In an interview with C.J. Polychroniou, Chomsky <a href="https://truthout.org/articles/trump-in-the-white-house-an-interview-with-noam-chomsky/">states</a> that the Republican party is the “most dangerous organization in human history.” The New Yorker also reports Chomsky's claims that <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/news/q-and-a/noam-chomsky-believes-trump-is-the-worst-criminal-in-human-history">Donald Trump is a worse criminal than Adolf Hitler</a>.

According to the New Criterion, Chomsky frequently <a href="https://newcriterion.com/issues/2003/5/the-hypocrisy-of-noam-chomsky">praised</a> the left-wing government of the Khmer Rouge and has publically disputed the credibility and existence of the Cambodian Genocide. Committed by the Khmer Rouge and its dictatorial head Pol Pot, it is <a href="https://cla.umn.edu/chgs/holocaust-genocide-education/resource-guides/cambodia#:~:text=Lasting%20for%20four%20years%20(between,following%20the%20Cambodian%20Civil%20War.">estimated</a> that at least 1.5 and 3 million people died between 1976 and 1979. Despite <a href="https://gsp.yale.edu/case-studies/cambodian-genocide-program">detailed reports</a> of starvation and systematic executions, Chomsky denied that any widespread killings had taken place and accused reporters of repeating right-wing propaganda and sensationalizing their stories. Chomsky attributes the deaths to US imperialism and executions of subversive elements to the communist government

Chomsky publically defends individuals who engage in Holocaust denial. As documented in Robert F. September 11 Attacks
Speaking at MIT following the aftermath of the <a href="https://twitter.com/TPUSA/status/1171500948964818944">September 11 terrorist attacks</a> against the United States, Chomsky <a href="http://tech.mit.edu/V121/N52/52chomsky.52n.html">asserted</a> that 9/11 represented, “the guns having been directed the other way.” The Tech, MIT’s oldest newspaper, also reports Chomsky blaming US citizens for the attacks on 9/11, and that Osama bin Laden, leader of al Qaeda, might be innocent.

Chomsky also <a href="https://www.salon.com/2001/09/26/treason_2/">stated</a> that the US casualties were far less devastating than the effects of US foreign policy around the world. Chomsky <a href="https://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individuals/noam-chomsky/">stated</a> that the United States was attempting to murder “3-4 million people” in Afganistan and that the strike against Osama bin Laden was “some sort of silent genocide.”

In an article published in 2020, <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/how-many-people-died-911-thousands-perishing-september-11-related-illnesses-1531058">Newsweek found that</a> “In New York, 2,750 people were killed, at the Pentagon 184 died, and a further 40 people were killed in Pennsylvania.” Newsweek also reported that 400 first responders were killed and that 18,000 survivors have been diagnosed with “9/11-related cancer.”

In the Fall 2021 semester, Ms. Chan will be teaching a Black Lives Matter(BLM)-inspired course that counts towards an English requirement for graduation.

According to a <a href="https://acleddata.com/2020/09/03/demonstrations-political-violence-in-america-new-data-for-summer-2020/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">study conducted by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED)</a>, BLM can be linked to 95% of the riots around the country–notably in Summer 2020 following the death of George Floyd. In an analysis of the study, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Federalist </a>found that “of the 633 incidents coded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter Activists.” The resulting riots were the most destructive in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion." target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>

The course is officially titled, “ENGL 101A: #SayTheirNames, a Black Lives Matter Literacy.” Students will be asked to study how American values are connected to “blackness,” and “whiteness.” Ms. Chan will then ask the following:

- How does social media allow for critiques of race, gender, sexuality, and violence?

- What does it mean to say their names as an elegy, an anthem, and a language to give space for talking about Black Lives?

The phrase “Say Their Names” is frequently chanted at BLM protests. The slogan is an attempt, by activists, to draw attention to black men and women who have allegedly been murdered by police. <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/08/28/sen-rand-paul-surrounded-as-diverse-group-of-cops-defends-from-mob/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Senator Rand Paul was assaulted in August of 2020 by a mob yelling “[Brianna Taylor] Say Her Name!</a>”

Taylor, whose name is depicted in the banner of the course’s announcement, was reportedly dealing narcotics with her boyfriend–Kenneth Walker—at the time of her death. <a href="https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2020/09/the_truth_finally_emerges_about_breonna_taylors_death.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Walker opened fire on cops executing a search warrant on his apartment</a>, resulting in Breonna (who was present) dying in the crossfire.

Listed alongside the announcement banner are the course’s assigned texts. Those enrolled are required to read the following:

- Beyonce’s “Formation.” <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2016/02/08/2970258/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The song is a tribute to the Marxist, Black Panther Party</a>.

- Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright.” <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/kendrick-lamar-alright-2016-10?op=1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The song is frequently sung at BLM protests</a>.

- Ta-Nehisi Coates’s “A Letter to My Son.” Coates authors a hypothetical letter to inform his son that he will grow up in a country that will <a href="https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/07/tanehisi-coates-between-the-world-and-me/397619/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">oppress him because of his skin color</a>. Coates himself once described <a href="https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/07/the-toxic-world-view-of-ta-nehisi-coates-120512/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">9/11 first responders as “menaces of nature</a>.”

The course further promises to help students improve their writing skills by crafting a social narrative based on their “own social justice.” The class itself <a href="https://catalog.arizona.edu/policy/foundations-writing-requirement" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fulfills a Foundations Writing Requirement</a> for the University, which students are required to complete in order to graduate.

In one article published in January of 2018, Dr. Clemens cites mass shootings—including the <a href="https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/las-vegas-shooting-outdoor-concert-kills-20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Las Vegas shooting that killed 58 and wounded hundreds more</a>—<a href="https://www.learningforjustice.org/magazine/toxic-masculinity-is-bad-for-everyone-why-teachers-must-disrupt-gender-norms-every-day" target="_blank" rel="noopener">as a manifestation of “toxic masculinity.”</a> She urges educators to connect how society raises men to be “strong, tough, unfeeling and aggressive” with violence in “classrooms, hallways, workplaces, and sanctuaries.”
Dr. Clemens had previously attracted media attention for repeatedly tweeting, “toxic masculinity is killing everyone.”

In addition to her professorial duties, Dr. Clemens manages her own blog—titled, <a href="https://kupoco.wordpress.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Feminist AF: Reflections on Gender and Postcolonial Issues</a>—and writes for the site, <a href="https://www.learningforjustice.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Learning for Justice</a>. Owned by the Southern Poverty Law Center, the latter dedicates its mission to “supplant” educational curricula in order to “strengthen intersectional movements” and “dismantle white supremacy”.

Dr. Clemens’ articles frequently cite her own left-wing beliefs and activism present in her teaching. Several articles include the following;

In one article published in January of 2018, Dr. Clemens cites mass shootings—including the <a href="https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/las-vegas-shooting-outdoor-concert-kills-20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Las Vegas shooting that killed 58 and wounded hundreds more</a>—<a href="https://www.learningforjustice.org/magazine/toxic-masculinity-is-bad-for-everyone-why-teachers-must-disrupt-gender-norms-every-day" target="_blank" rel="noopener">as a manifestation of “toxic masculinity.”</a> She urges educators to connect how society raises men to be “strong, tough, unfeeling and aggressive” with violence in “classrooms, hallways, workplaces, and sanctuaries.”

Dr. Clemens had previously attracted media attention for repeatedly tweeting, “toxic masculinity is killing everyone.”

<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/iowa-governor-bans-critical-race-theory" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Iowa has prohibited the teaching and promotion of Critical Race Theory in public schools and government agencies</a>. In June of 2021, upon signing the bill into law, Iowa governor Kim Reynolds described Critical Race Theory in a press release as focusing disproportionately on “labels and stereotypes”:
“Critical Race Theory is about labels and stereotypes, not education. It teaches kids that we should judge others based on race, gender or sexual identity, rather than the content of someone’s character”.
The Iowa bill—<a href="https://www.legis.iowa.gov/legislation/BillBook?ga=89&amp;ba=hf802" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tilted House File 802</a>—prohibits the teaching of 10 “ specific defined concepts” listed below:
-That one race or sex is inherently superior to another race or sex. 
-That the United States of America and the state of Iowa are fundamentally or systematically racist or sexist. 
-That one race or sex is inherently superior to another race or sex.
&#8211; That the United States of America and the state of Iowa are fundamentally or systemically racist or sexist. 
-That an individual, solely because of the individual&#8217;s race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously. 
-That an individual should be discriminated against or receive adverse treatment solely or partly because of the individual&#8217;s race or sex.

He believes that it is reasonable for healthcare providers to kill mentally disabled babies. He strongly questions the personhood given to any unborn child and finds little similarity to killing an unborn child and killing any other person. However, Singer believes that all rights, including the right to life, should be granted to animals. Singer simultaneously advocates for the right to life for animals and the right to abort the unborn child. Singer believes children should be able to be aborted up to 2 years old.

According to her University biography, Dr. Taylor is a scholar of racial inequity in public policymaking, and writes “extensively” about race, politics, and “radical activism.”
As a Professor and political commentator, Dr. Taylor offers her opinion across a wide variety of social media platforms and media outlets. She is known to condemn capitalism, the United States, and Israel while lauding socialism and the Soviet Union.
On her personal <a href="https://twitter.com/KeeangaYamahtta" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Twitter account</a>, Dr. Taylor smears Israel as a racial, apartheid state that actively commits genocide against Arabs in the Middle East. In one tweet, she alleges that Israel is attempting to “annihilate” Palestine:

Dr. Taylor likewise alleges the United States is a brutally racist and oppressive society. BLM came to further prominence following the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/gunshots-looting-after-grand-jury-in-ferguson-case-does-not-indict-officer-in-michael-brown-shooting" target="_blank" rel="noopener">riots in Ferguson, Missouri</a> in reaction to the acquittal of police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting of robbery suspect, Michael Brown. Although later determined that Brown had attacked the officer, <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/hands-up-dont-shoot-makes-wapos-list-of-outlandish-claims" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BLM was instrumental in spreading the lie</a> that Brown was shot at point-blank range with his hands raised.

Despite her praise, the Bolshevik Revolution and the resulting formation of the Soviet Union cost millions of lives. Upon overthrowing the Russian government in October 1917, Vladimir Lenin immediately set up <a href="https://duckduckgo.com/?q=lenin%27s+red+terror&amp;atb=v263-1&amp;ia=web" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a series of concentration camps for political prisoners and led the Soviet secret police in a brutal crackdown</a> known as the “Red Terror.” As many as one million people perished before the carnage ended with the cessation of the Russian Civil War in 1921. Over the course of the USSR&#8217;s existence, as <a href="https://fee.org/articles/the-staggering-toll-of-the-russian-revolution/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">many as 60 million people perished under Soviet rule</a>.
In recognition of her work, Dr. Taylor was <a href="https://aas.princeton.edu/news/2021-macarthur-fellow-keeanga-yamahtta-taylor" target="_blank" rel="noopener">awarded a MacArthur Foundation “Genius” Award</a> in 2021.
