<a href="https://www.sac.edu/foundation/Alumni/Halls-of-Fame/Pages/Biography-Jessica-Alabi.aspx">Dr. Jessica Ayo Alabi</a> is a Professor of Sociology and Gender Studies at Orange Coast College. She banned conservatives from a discussion about women and African-Americans in 2017. According to an e-mail Alabi sent to administrators, she admitted to banning members of the Republican club from the event. She also wrote, "If the college will not stand up to the Republican club, I have decided to stand up for myself and other students."

Dr. Reza Aslan is <a href="https://profiles.ucr.edu/app/home/profile/aslanr" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a Professor of Creative Writing </a>at the University of California, Riverside. He considers himself to be a scholar of religions and has penned many books, including a New York Times bestseller titled, <a href="https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/201653/zealot-by-reza-aslan/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth</a>. When he isn’t teaching or writing publications, he often takes to social media to express his strong dislike of conservatives.

In early 2019, <a href="https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/jan/13/reza-aslan-likely-be-sued-over-now-deleted-punchab/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Aslan made headlines</a> for threatening a conservative boy from Covington Catholic High School. In a tweet that has since been deleted, Dr. Aslan asked his 286,300 followers if they’ve ever seen a “more punchable” face than Nick Sandmann’s face. Sandmann and other boys from Covington Catholic High School were wrongly accused of harassing indigenous people at the Lincoln Memorial in 2019. The boys ultimately filed a lawsuit against Dr. Aslan for false and defamatory accusations.

Dr. Aslan frequently tweets about his disdain for conservatives. In a tweet from May 2020, <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2020/05/30/twitter-fails-to-fact-check-reza-aslan-for-claiming-trump-supporters-are-looting/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Twitter failed to fact-check</a> Dr. Aslan when he <a href="https://twitter.com/rezaaslan/status/1266773788638670848?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1266773788638670848%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com%2Ftech%2F2020%2F05%2F30%2Ftwitter-fails-to-fact-check-reza-aslan-for-claiming-trump-supporters-are-looting%2F" target="_blank" rel="noopener">made the claim</a> that conservatives were the ones responsible for the violence and looting around the country after the death of George Floyd. <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/george-floyd-riots-looting-destroy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">While many sources</a> believe the riots were the doing of Antifa groups, Dr. Aslan maintains conservatives are at-fault while having no evidence to back up the claim. <a href="https://profiles.ucr.edu/app/home/profile/janew">Jane Ward</a> is a professor of Gender and Sexuality Studies at the University of California - Riverside. According to her personal website, Ward <a href="https://www.janewardphd.com/">teaches</a> courses in feminist, queer, and heterosexuality studies. She also <a href="https://gsst104thewitch.weebly.com/">teaches</a> a course titled, “Witches, Gender and Religion.” A “Witch,” according to Ward–who instructs the course with a “postcolonial feminist lens”–threatens capitalism, settler colonialism, and Christianity.

Ward is the <a href="https://www.theblaze.com/news/professor-heterosexuality-tragic-causes-societal-problems">author</a> of a book titled, “The Tragedy of Heterosexuality.” Ward’s central premise of the book–<a href="https://www.insider.com/why-straight-relationships-are-doomed-according-to-sex-researcher-2020-12">outlined</a> in a 2020 article for Insider_ is her belief that heterosexuality strains relationships between the sexes, and causes men to objectify women.

According to Ward, the idea of heterosexuality formed the “romanticized narrative” of a gender binary and “pigeon-holed” men into a toxic-masculine culture. She states that Covid-19 is now exposing the “tragedy” of heterosexuality, citing the uptick in divorce since the pandemic began.

She has also previously <a href="https://theconversation.com/the-white-supremacist-origins-of-modern-marriage-advice-144782">detailed</a> her belief that marriage advice for heterosexual couples is rooted in white supremacy. Ward alleges that the marriage advice offered by figures in the 19th-eugenics movement is the cause of “violence and inequity” between heterosexual couples today.

In a <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/article?id=16693">statement</a> to Campus Reform, Ward explained that she “loves straight couples” and wants them to have better relationships.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Ward <a href="https://www.janewardphd.com/resources.html">offers</a> “Childhood Gender Diversity Training” seminars. According to her personal website, Jane advocates for “celebrating” a child’s gender diversity and self-expression, and offers the training to help adults, parents, and teachers refrain from “policing” a child’s gender expression. Ward is also a <a href="https://www.ipetitions.com/petition/support-affirmative-care-for-trans-kids">signatory</a> to an open petition urging the Canadian government and others “to join us in calling for additional funding to develop more services to better support gender diverse children.”

Jonathan Graubart

Dr. <a href="https://politicalscience.sdsu.edu/people/faculty/graubart_j.html">Jonathan Graubart</a> is a Professor of Political Science at San Diego State University (SDSU) and Director of the International Security and Conflict Resolution Program. According to his university biography, Dr. Graubart specializes in international relations, international law, Israel-Palestine, the UN, normative theory, and “resistance politics.”
In a July 2017 article, The College Fix reported that Dr. Graubart <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/professor-annoyed-groundswell-good-wishes-john-mccain-calls-war-criminal/">condemned Senator McCain as a “war criminal</a>” and someone who “has championed horrifying actions” in a now-deleted Facebook post on his personal account. <a href="https://www.johnmccain.com/">John McCain</a> was a United States Senator from Arizona who <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/john-mccain-dead-at-81">served as a Navy pilot and was a prisoner of war</a> during the Vietnam War. He died in August of 2018 after a battle with brain cancer.
In the now-deleted Facebook post, Dr. Graubart stated that <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/professor-annoyed-groundswell-good-wishes-john-mccain-calls-war-criminal/">he found himself “annoyed at the groundswell of good wishes for John McCain after his diagnosis of glioblastoma” (brain cancer).</a>.” His comment was posted <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/lawmakers-send-wishes-john-mccain-brain-tumor-announcement/story?id=48736469">just after John McCain announced his cancer diagnosis</a>.

ABC 10 News San Diego reported in July 2018 that an unnamed SDSU spokesman released a statement <a href="https://www.10news.com/news/san-diego-state-professor-makes-controversial-facebook-post">referring to Dr. Graubart’s post about McCain as “private speech”</a> that cannot be regulated. The spokesman also states that it does not “endorse” his views, nor does it have a social media policy for faculty members.

During the first week of classes, Zakaria distributed a map of the Middle East highlighting Arabic-speaking countries. However, it omitted Israel and labeled it as Palestine.

Dr. <a href="https://www.bu.edu/antiracism-center/profile/ibram-x-kendi/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ibram X Kendi</a> is the Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Humanities at <a href="https://www.bu.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Boston University</a>. He also served as the <a href="https://www.radcliffe.harvard.edu/people/ibram-x-kendi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Frances B. Cashin Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University</a>. He is best known for authoring the New York Times bestseller, “<a href="https://www.ibramxkendi.com/how-to-be-an-antiracist/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">How to Be an Antiracist</a>,” along with “<a href="https://www.ibramxkendi.com/stamped" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stamped from the Beginning</a>” and “<a href="https://bookshop.org/books/antiracist-baby-board-book/9780593110416" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Antiracist Baby</a>.” He further serves as the Director and founder of the <a href="https://www.bu.edu/antiracism-center/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Center for Antiracist Research</a> at Boston University.
Dr. Kendi claims that racism is deeply embedded in American institutions and that every white American benefits from racism, regardless of their actions. During one event hosted by Google, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEjpbDSoBCA&amp;t=2078s&amp;ab_channel=TalksatGoogle" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Kendi claimed that anyone raised in America is raised to be racist.</a>

His speaking engagements are often very lucrative; the University of Michigan paid Dr. Kendi <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/university-michigan-ibram-x-kendi-20000-virtual-discussion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">$20,000 for a virtual, one-hour speech on antiracism.</a>
During another lecture for the <a href="https://www.aspeninstitute.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Aspen Institute</a>, Dr. Kendi <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzuOlyyQlug" target="_blank" rel="noopener">defined racism as ANY policy—or support for a policy—in which the outcome results in racial disparities</a>.

He would go on to explain the elimination of racial disparities by adopting far-Left policies—such as wealth redistribution to alleviate the racial income gap and universal health care— are examples of how one can be “anti-racist.”
Dr. Kendi wrote in “How to Be an Antiracist” that “<a href="https://www.city-journal.org/how-to-be-an-antiracist" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the ultimate solution to racism or racial discrimination is discrimination itself</a>”.

Dr. Kendi further advocates for an “<a href="https://www.politico.com/interactives/2019/how-to-fix-politics-in-america/inequality/pass-an-anti-racist-constitutional-amendment/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">antiracist amendment” to the Constitution to monitor and punish officials with “racist” ideas</a>. Proposed policies in the amendment include:
&#8211; To deem racial inequity or racist ideas as unconstitutional
&#8211; Permanently fund a “Department of Antiracism”
&#8211; Mandatory monitoring of all federal, state, and local policies for racial inequity
&#8211; Mandatory monitoring of all public officials for racist ideas
&#8211; Ability to punish public officials who do not voluntarily change racist ideas or policies
Opposed to interracial families, Dr. Kendi has alleged that adopting a child from a separate race doesn’t make you “not racist.” During the 2020 confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett—who has adopted two children from Haiti—Dr. Kendi insinuated that families like the Barretts—whom he describes as “white colonizers”—<a href="https://nypost.com/2020/09/28/bu-professor-suggests-amy-coney-barrett-is-a-white-colonizer/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">only adopt black children in a racist attempt to “civilize them.”</a>

He also served as the <a href="https://www.radcliffe.harvard.edu/people/ibram-x-kendi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Frances B. Cashin Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University</a>. Dr. Kendi claims that racism is deeply embedded in American institutions and that every white American benefits from racism, regardless of their actions. During another lecture for the <a href="https://www.aspeninstitute.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Aspen Institute</a>, Dr. Kendi <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzuOlyyQlug" target="_blank" rel="noopener">defined racism as ANY policy—or support for a policy—in which the outcome results in racial disparities</a>.

Dr. Kendi wrote in “How to Be an Antiracist” that “<a href="https://www.city-journal.org/how-to-be-an-antiracist" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the ultimate solution to racism or racial discrimination is discrimination itself</a>”.

Proposed policies in the amendment include:

- To deem racial inequity or racist ideas as unconstitutional

- Permanently fund a “Department of Antiracism”

- Mandatory monitoring of all federal, state, and local policies for racial inequity

- Mandatory monitoring of all public officials for racist ideas

- Ability to punish public officials who do not voluntarily change racist ideas or policies

Opposed to interracial families, Dr. Kendi has alleged that adopting a child from a separate race doesn’t make you “not racist.” During the 2020 confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett—who has adopted two children from Haiti—Dr. Kendi insinuated that families like the Barretts—whom he describes as “white colonizers”—<a href="https://nypost.com/2020/09/28/bu-professor-suggests-amy-coney-barrett-is-a-white-colonizer/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">only adopt black children in a racist attempt to “civilize them.”</a>

<a href="https://liberalarts.tamu.edu/anthropology/profile/michael-alvard/">Michael Alvard</a> is an associate professor and Cultural Anthropology Program Coordinator at Texas A&amp;M University.
In June of 2020, Alvard was <a href="https://www.kbtx.com/content/news/Texas-AM-professor-arrested-during-Saturdays-protest--571251361.html">arrested</a> while protesting at the Lawrence Sullivan Ross statue on campus. The Young Democratic Socialists of America at Texas A&amp;M posted his $3,000 bail which may have <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=15230">violated</a> university rules on approved student organizations using personal banking accounts. Alvard <a href="https://www.kbtx.com/content/news/Texas-AM-professor-arrested-during-Saturdays-protest--571251361.html">released a statement</a> to a local news station, KTBX, alleging that the statue represents “institutional racism” and Ross’ life “represented ethnic cleansing, violence, slavery, segregation, and Jim Crow racism.” In his statement, he also insinuated that police officers regularly harm and kill black Americans.
&#8220;I’m a white male of privilege. Yesterday, I knew that the police would not kill me or throw me to the ground or stomp on my neck. I can afford to post bail. I’m not the story. The story is the lives of black people and other people of color in our community who must suffer day-in and day-out with the institutional racism that the Ross statue represents.&#8221; 
Alvard liberally shares his views on his social media, connecting Mount Rushmore to white supremacy, sharing guides of how to tear down statues, and most strikingly, boasting how he lectures his students on how America is a systematically racist nation.

<a href="https://liberalarts.tamu.edu/anthropology/profile/filipe-vieira-de-castro/">Filipe Vieira de Castro</a> is the Frederic R. Mayer Fellow II of Nautical Archaeology, an Anthropology professor, and the Director of the Ship Reconstruction Laboratory at Texas A&amp;M University. Castro is virulently anti-Israel, has expressed anti-Christian sentiments numerous times, slandered prominent conservatives, and confronted Turning Point USA students on campus.

As confirmed by a member of the TPUSA chapter at Texas A&amp;M, Castro approached and immediately began arguing with them while they were tabling at the Memorial Student Center (MSC). Posting about the event later, he stated that TPUSA students should have no place at a university and even joked in a reply to a comment that they should be sent to the gulag for “re-education.”

Castro, among other protestors at Texas A&amp;M University, advocated for the removal of a statue of Sullivan Ross, a Confederate General and former President of the university. When <a href="http://www.thebatt.com/news/protesters-voice-their-opinions-for-and-against-the-sul-ross-statue/article_6b24ced2-ade4-11ea-a872-875170880ccd.html">interviewed</a>, he stated that the statue represented “racism” and “exclusion.”

“Why do we want a statue that stands for racism and exclusion and hatred? Statues are just artifacts, they are not history...History is in the library. If you really want to know the history of the Confederacy, go to the library.” 

While protesting to take down certain statues, he is also an advocate for erecting one of convicted terrorist Susan Rosenberg.

“With ups and downs, she has dedicated her life to fighting injustice. She deserves a statue.”

And if it can be more shocking, these creeps should know how it feels to be dehumanized, insulted, beaten, assassinated for religious reasons. They ought to ask their grandparents how it felt to be persecuted.”

<a href="https://www.wm.edu/sites/dhp/faculty/ciccariello-maher-george.php">Dr. George Ciccariello-Maher</a> is a Visiting Scholar of Decolonizing Humanities and Modern Languages and Literatures at the College of William and Mary. He previously taught in the Department of History and Politics at Drexel University.

From the College of William and Mary's website, his work at the Decolonizing Humanities Project is <a href="https://www.wm.edu/sites/dhp/decoloniality/index.php">described</a> as exploring, “how colonization, modernity, capitalism, and, most recently, neoliberalism has displaced an array of modes of living, thinking and being.  Decoloniality reveals “the dark side of modernity” and how it is built “on the backs” of “others.”

Ciccarello first came to notoriety for his racially inflammatory statements on twitter. On Christmas of 2016, he <a href="https://www.inquirer.com/philly/news/Drexel-officials-Professor-George-Ciccariello-Mahers-White-Genocide-tweet-was-utterly-reprehensible.html">tweeted</a> out,

“All I want for Christmas is White Genocide,”

and,

“To clarify: when the whites were massacred during the Haitian Revolution, that was a  good thing indeed.”

He also tweeted out,

“Some guy gave up his first-class seat for a uniformed soldier. People are thanking him. I’m trying not to vomit or yell about Mosul.”

When Ciccariello was confronted by <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndkvgmGIQHQ">Tucker Carlson</a> over his tweets, he only proceeded to double-down. In the following exchange, he defended the academic veracity of his tweets by claiming, “performance art is scholarship.”

Ciccariello doesn’t shy away from utilizing violence to accomplish his radical beliefs. In an op-ed for <a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/05/04/riots_work_wolf_blitzer_and_the_washington_post_completely_missed_the_real_lesson_from_baltimore/">Salon</a>, he praised the riots that had engulfed Baltimore in 2015 in an article titled “Riots Work.” He wrote, “without the threat of insurgency in the streets, no charges would ever have been brought in the murder of Freddie Gray.” Obviously not a proponent of police, Ciccariello openly <a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/04/24/we_must_disband_the_police_body_cameras_arent_enough_only_radical_change_will_stop_cops_who_kill/">advocates</a> for the abolishment of police forces, describing them as, “originally slavecatchers.”

When not calling for the disbandment of our law enforcement, Ciccariello is an ardent defender of the socialist regime in Venezuela. He regularly <a href="https://www.counterpunch.org/2013/04/12/thatcher-is-dead-long-live-chavez/">praises</a> Hugo Chavez and has bizarrely <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhYz1owM-uA&amp;feature=youtu.be">claimed</a> that Venezuela does not have corrupt elections.

Ciccariello doesn’t shy away from violent groups as well. In order to fight white-nationalism, Ciccarello called on Americans to embrace the radical group ANTIFA in an interview with <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTv_hqjrmi8&amp;feature=youtu.be">Democracy Now</a> following the El Paso mass shooting. Although committed by a stated white nationalist, in the same interview Ciccariello placed the blame on Donald Trump for the deaths, claiming that his rhetoric on immigrants inspired the shooter’s rampage.  Ciccariello made similar accusations in a prior <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTv_hqjrmi8&amp;feature=youtu.be">interview</a> about the Texas Church Massacre, alluding that “whiteness” and Trump’s stoking of white victimhood was to blame for the murders.

According to her university biography, Dr. Hargons teaches Diagnosis/Psychopathy, Ethics, Social Justice Consultation, and Practicum. She is additionally listed as a licensed psychologist who specializes in “sex therapy and healing racial trauma.”
Dr. Hargons is known for creating a meditation to allegedly heal her patient’s racial trauma. The 17-minute guided meditation—titled the “<a href="https://soundcloud.com/drcandicenicole/black-lives-matter-meditation-for-healing-racial-trauma" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Black Lives Matter Meditation for Healing Racial Trauma</a>”– was created to help black Americans cope with police shootings.

When asked what inspired her to create the meditation, Dr. Hargons described the BLM movement as a “healing, affirming balm and a catalyst” for research and professorial duties. She further praised the “empowering and world-changing” courage of the movement’s founders, including professor Patrisse Cullors.

According to a <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">study conducted by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED)</a>, BLM can be linked to 95% of the riots around the country in the Summer months of 2020 following the death of George Floyd. In an analysis of the study, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Federalist</a> found, “of the 633 incidents coded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter Activists.” The resulting riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion." target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>
Dr. Hargons also created a mediation specifically designed for white people. Titled the “<a href="https://www.drcandicenicole.com/blm-meditation" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ally + Accomplice Meditation for Cultivating an Anti-Racist Mindset</a>.” The guided meditation encourages white listeners to “choose equity rather than oppression.” She bluntly characterizes white people as “accomplices” in racism who must work to understand “whiteness.”
Through the University of Kentucky, Dr. Hargons has authored a number of other BLM-themed materials that explicitly cite the movement and accuse the United States of being systematically racist. <a href="https://www.drcandicenicole.com/post/white-people-stress-me-out-all-the-time-black-students-define-racial-trauma" target="_blank" rel="noopener">One such study is titled, “White People Stress Me Out All the Time: Black Students Define Racial Trauma</a>.”
In the paper, Dr. Hargons and her co-authors state racism–or racial trauma—is a factor affecting black people “from cradle to grave” and label it a “public health crisis.” They further cite research that alleges that racism has similar adverse effects as “rape and domestic violence.” The authors then set out to find how black students define racial trauma and how it affects their daily lives.
The paper relies solely on participants to define what racial trauma is. One participant stated that “white people stress me out all the time.” Another cited seeing a “Trump-Pence” bumper sticker on her friend&#8217;s car as a source of trauma.
The paper admits that research was conducted through a “black feminist framework” in order to separate their research from the “white supremacist capitalist heteropatriarchy” which “oppresses and shackles” black men and women through “white patriarchal ideals.” The researchers eventually conclude that University counselors must direct attention and resources to further treat racial trauma in their students.
In another study—titled “Black Lives Matter, a call to action for Counseling and Psychology Leaders”—Dr. Hargons and her co-authors <a href="https://uknowledge.uky.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1034&amp;context=edp_facpub" target="_blank" rel="noopener">extol the movement as the “ultimate expression of a social justice movement.”</a> They urge fellow psychologists to not be “judgemental” of the “aggressive” tactics of activists, as the killing of black people “necessitates a strong, emotional response.”
“In seeking to support the Black Lives Matter movement, it is important that counseling psychologists not be judgmental or dismissive of, or apologists for, the emotional tone and“aggressive” tactics used by some  Black Lives Matters activists. The killings of Black people, many unarmed (Mapping Police Violence, 2016), understandably necessitate a strong emotional response. Cokley explained the all-consuming, raw and unbridled anger from Black people that results from a profound sense of alienation and helplessness in society. Although we do not suggest counseling psychologists must engage in the same tactics in order to support Black Lives Matter, we suggest that counseling psychologists should not be emotionally dispassionate observers.”
They conclude that fellow psychologists must not only be supportive of the BLM’s goals but even provide counseling to its activists in order to combat the “pervasive societal racism towards the Black Lives Matter movement.”
In addition to her professorial duties, Dr. Hargons regularly provides anti-racist training to the University of Kentucky. As the head of the <a href="https://education.uky.edu/psychophysiological-effects-of-racism-and-meditation/">Healing Racial Trauma Project</a>, she has regularly been <a href="https://uknow.uky.edu/research/uk-professor-uses-science-dive-conversations-about-racism" target="_blank" rel="noopener">featured for her work by the university</a>, despite <a href="https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2021/08/university_of_kentucky_paid_big_bucks_for_abusive_crt_seminar.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">admitting that she charges white audiences more for her services</a>.
In August of 2021, Dr. Hargons led a workshop in which she <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/universitys-anti-racism-workshop-teaches-deans-to-accept-white-inferiority/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told university deans to “accept their white inferiority”</a> and how to develop anti-racist plans of action in their own lives, including hiring more people of color.
Once the training was publicized by various media outlets, the President of the University of Kentucky sent out a campus-wide email <a href="https://uknow.uky.edu/campus-news/anti-racist-trainings-continue-across-campus" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lauding Dr. Hargons and stating his intent to continue the anti-racist training</a>,
“But what is clear is that we will—and we must—stand with our faculty, staff and students who are engaged in these efforts….We will not be deterred in these efforts. We will not stand down in our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Implementation Plan, which involves faculty, staff and students across our campus.”

In an analysis of the study, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Federalist</a> found, “of the 633 incidents coded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter Activists.” The resulting riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion." target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>

Dr. Hargons also created a mediation specifically designed for white people. Titled the “<a href="https://www.drcandicenicole.com/blm-meditation" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ally + Accomplice Meditation for Cultivating an Anti-Racist Mindset</a>.” The guided meditation encourages white listeners to “choose equity rather than oppression.” She bluntly characterizes white people as “accomplices” in racism who must work to understand “whiteness.”

Through the University of Kentucky, Dr. Hargons has authored a number of other BLM-themed materials that explicitly cite the movement and accuse the United States of being systematically racist. <a href="https://www.drcandicenicole.com/post/white-people-stress-me-out-all-the-time-black-students-define-racial-trauma" target="_blank" rel="noopener">One such study is titled, “White People Stress Me Out All the Time: Black Students Define Racial Trauma</a>.”

In the paper, Dr. Hargons and her co-authors state racism–or racial trauma—is a factor affecting black people “from cradle to grave” and label it a “public health crisis.” They further cite research that alleges that racism has similar adverse effects as “rape and domestic violence.” The authors then set out to find how black students define racial trauma and how it affects their daily lives.

The paper relies solely on participants to define what racial trauma is. One participant stated that “white people stress me out all the time.” Another cited seeing a “Trump-Pence” bumper sticker on her friend's car as a source of trauma.

The paper admits that research was conducted through a “black feminist framework” in order to separate their research from the “white supremacist capitalist heteropatriarchy” which “oppresses and shackles” black men and women through “white patriarchal ideals.” The researchers eventually conclude that University counselors must direct attention and resources to further treat racial trauma in their students.

In another study—titled “Black Lives Matter, a call to action for Counseling and Psychology Leaders”—Dr. Hargons and her co-authors <a href="https://uknowledge.uky.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1034&amp;context=edp_facpub" target="_blank" rel="noopener">extol the movement as the “ultimate expression of a social justice movement.”</a> They urge fellow psychologists to not be “judgemental” of the “aggressive” tactics of activists, as the killing of black people “necessitates a strong, emotional response.”

“In seeking to support the Black Lives Matter movement, it is important that counseling psychologists not be judgmental or dismissive of, or apologists for, the emotional tone and“aggressive” tactics used by some  Black Lives Matters activists. The killings of Black people, many unarmed (Mapping Police Violence, 2016), understandably necessitate a strong emotional response. Cokley explained the all-consuming, raw and unbridled anger from Black people that results from a profound sense of alienation and helplessness in society. Although we do not suggest counseling psychologists must engage in the same tactics in order to support Black Lives Matter, we suggest that counseling psychologists should not be emotionally dispassionate observers.”

They conclude that fellow psychologists must not only be supportive of the BLM’s goals but even provide counseling to its activists in order to combat the “pervasive societal racism towards the Black Lives Matter movement.”

In addition to her professorial duties, Dr. Hargons regularly provides anti-racist training to the University of Kentucky. As the head of the <a href="https://education.uky.edu/psychophysiological-effects-of-racism-and-meditation/">Healing Racial Trauma Project</a>, she has regularly been <a href="https://uknow.uky.edu/research/uk-professor-uses-science-dive-conversations-about-racism" target="_blank" rel="noopener">featured for her work by the university</a>, despite <a href="https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2021/08/university_of_kentucky_paid_big_bucks_for_abusive_crt_seminar.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">admitting that she charges white audiences more for her services</a>.

In August of 2021, Dr. Hargons led a workshop in which she <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/universitys-anti-racism-workshop-teaches-deans-to-accept-white-inferiority/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told university deans to “accept their white inferiority”</a> and how to develop anti-racist plans of action in their own lives, including hiring more people of color.

Once the training was publicized by various media outlets, the President of the University of Kentucky sent out a campus-wide email <a href="https://uknow.uky.edu/campus-news/anti-racist-trainings-continue-across-campus" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lauding Dr. Hargons and stating his intent to continue the anti-racist training</a>,

“But what is clear is that we will—and we must—stand with our faculty, staff and students who are engaged in these efforts….We will not be deterred in these efforts. We will not stand down in our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Implementation Plan, which involves faculty, staff and students across our campus.”

<a href="https://almanac.upenn.edu/articles/edward-s-herman-wharton">Dr. Edward Herman</a>, was a former Professor of Business at the University of Pennslyvania, helped try to cover up the killing fields of Cambodia along with Noam Chomsky in several writings, including a book called After the Cataclysm.

<a href="https://gsws.sas.upenn.edu/people/jonathan-d-katz">Dr. Jonathan Katz</a> is an Associate Professor of Associate Professor of Practice and the History of Art at the <a href="https://www.upenn.edu/">University of Pennslyvania</a>. According to his university biography, Katz’s positions deal with the “intersections of art history and queer history.”

In a 2016 article, Professor Katz<a href="http://www.buffalo.edu/ubnow/stories/2016/06/katz-orlando.html"> blamed</a> conservatives for the Pulse Nightclub shooting that claimed 49 lives. He wrote, “What we are trying to do here is camouflage the root of the problem, which is a long history of violent political rhetoric and homophobic policies by Republican officials and their conservative allies.”

Rather than Islamic Terrorism, he argued that anti-gay bigotry from the Christian right is a greater threat than ISIS.

Katz had previously<a href="https://www.catholicleague.org/the-american-taliban-catholic-league-2/"> referred</a> to The Catholic League, the nation’s largest Catholic civil rights organization, as “the American Taliban.”

<a href="https://education.msu.edu/te/PhD/Whos-Who/Doctoral-Students/">Alba Lamar </a>is a graduate student and instructor at Michigan State University. In a class prior to Thanksgiving 2016, Lamar taught students how to argue with conservative relatives about issues such as illegal immigration, refugees, and the Dakota Access Pipeline. Lamar also mocked Christians for not supporting taking in Middle Eastern refugees and said conservatives often come to their views through fear.

<a href="http://www.english.msu.edu/people/faculty/william-penn/">William Penn</a> teaches in the Creative Writing Program at Michigan State University. Penn was recorded complaining in one of his creative writing classes about “dead white Republicans” who “raped his country.” As a student videotaped his rant, Penn antagonized students and asked, “You look like you’re frowning. Are you frowning?”.

Dr. Dorinda Carter Andrews is a <a href="https://education.msu.edu/people/carter-andrews-dorinda/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chairperson and Professor</a> at Michigan State University in the College of Education. Her research interests include racial justice and educational equity. Dr. Andrews has published articles for many media outlets and journals and has given two <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3N23MXsow8" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TED Talks</a> in relation to critical race theory and racial gaps in education.

In an <a href="https://www.hourdetroit.com/education-schools/a-critical-race-theory-expert-on-how-something-benign-became-toxic/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">article for Hour Detroit</a>, Dr. Andrews accuses conservatives of “gaslighting” by being against critical race theory. Dr. Andrews alleges conservatives “cry CRT” any time an educator teaches something from America’s history that puts them in a “bad light,” even if it’s true. She goes on to insinuate that conservatives don’t want educators teaching black history at all.

EXCLUSIVE - <a href="http://www.campusdirectory.gsu.edu/#person/tbolsen">Toby W. Bolsen</a>—Professor of Political Science at Georgia State University—is a convicted child sex offender who appears on the <a href="https://www.nsopw.gov/en/Search/Results" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FBI’s national registry</a>.

On June 6th, 2001, a warrant was <a href="https://www.judici.com/courts/cases/case_history.jsp?court=IL070015J&amp;ocl=IL070015J,2001CF39,IL070015JL2001CF39D1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">issued for Dr. Boslen by the Department of Moultrie County, Illinois for criminal sexual assault.</a> The 25-year-old Bolsen was charged with and pleaded guilty to Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse against a 17-year-old girl, with a bail set at $50,000.

He received a sentence of 180 days in jail, 48 months of probation, and was forced to register as a sex offender in addition to paying restitution to the victims. <a href="https://www2.illinois.gov/idoc/OFFENDER/Pages/InmateSearch.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">According to Illinois prison records, Dr. Bolsen has completed his parole</a>, likely before 2009.

<a href="https://isp.illinois.gov/Sor/Details/X01B3928?x=24289ef3-7857-45ff-8169-9a6ef5c98b62" target="_blank" rel="noopener">His official profile lists him as having committed aggravated criminal sex abuse against a victim between the ages of 13-18</a>. According to Illinois state law, an individual may be charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse if they are <a href="https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/fulltext.asp?DocName=072000050K11-1.60" target="_blank" rel="noopener">5 years older than the victim, threatened the victim, or physically harmed the victim during the assault of an underage woman.</a><a href="https://isp.illinois.gov/Sor/Details/X01B3928?x=24289ef3-7857-45ff-8169-9a6ef5c98b62" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><img class="aligncenter wp-image-2256" src="https://backend.professorwatchlist.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/Screen-Shot-2022-06-10-at-3.02.40-PM-1024x461.png" alt="" width="500" height="225" /></a>

The Rockford Register Star reports that Dr. Bolsen was a <a href="https://www.rrstar.com/story/news/state/2007/10/20/more-than-2-dozen-illinois/44636388007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Scholastic Bowl coach at Sullivan High School in Moultrie County at the time of his conviction</a>. Dr. Bolsen was also one of twenty-five Ilinois teachers disciplined within a two-year period for sexual misconduct with students or minors.

Dr. Bolsen is a <a href="https://tobybolsen.wordpress.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">graduate of Southern Illinois University and Northwestern University. He has been teaching at Georgia State since 2010</a>. He has authored numerous academic papers—primarily on climate change and was awarded the “Outstanding Faculty Award” from the University in 2015.

Dr. Treva Lindsay frequently writes for a number of prominent publications—such as <a href="https://www.aljazeera.com/features/2015/9/5/race-in-the-us-herstory" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Al Jazeera</a>, <a href="https://www.cosmopolitan.com/author/14721/treva-lindsey/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cosmopolitan</a>, and <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/27/opinions/r-kelly-conviction-black-women-and-girls-lindsey/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CNN</a>— accusing the United States of being systematically racist and calling for the abolishment of policing. She additionally praises the BLM movement for its alleged efforts to combat systemic racism.

Black Lives Matter (BLM,) as an organization, was <a href="https://blacklivesmatter.com/six-years-strong/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">founded following the death</a> of Treyvon Martin and the trial of George Zimmerman for his murder. After a jury acquitted Zimmerman in 2013, <a href="https://patrissecullors.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Patrice Cullors</a> joined with <a href="https://aliciagarza.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alicia Garza</a> and <a href="https://www.opaltometi.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Opal Tometi</a> to found the organization. BLM’s mission is to “eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on black communities by the state and vigilantes.”

In an article for Complex, Dr. Lindsay praises BLM and its umbrella organization, the Movement for Black Lives, for their <a href="https://www.complex.com/life/2017/02/black-history-month-five-years-after-trayvon-martin-shooting" target="_blank" rel="noopener">role in awakening Americans to the reality of “anti-black racism</a>.” In the same article, she alleges that “millions” of black Americans have been victims of systemic racism for hundreds of years, and still are today.

In a separate article for NBC News, Dr. Lindsay decries the  passage of Juneteenth, <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/juneteenth-honors-black-emancipation-hope-equality-federal-holiday-doesn-t-ncna1271356" target="_blank" rel="noopener">describing it as trivial and merely a “symbolic gesture.</a>” A bill to make Juneteenth—a holiday <a href="https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/abolition-of-slavery-announced-in-texas-juneteenth" target="_blank" rel="noopener">celebrating the announcement that slavery had ended in Texas</a>— a national holiday was passed with the <a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/biden-signs-bill-making-juneteenth-a-federal-holiday/ar-AAL92UE" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bipartisan support of both houses</a> before it was signed into law in June of 2020.

Nonetheless, Dr. Lindsay writes that she can’t help but feel “contempt” towards white people for their support, critiquing the holiday as inadequate to combat “sanctioned white supremacy.”

Referencing an August 2020 incident, a <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/law-and-order/2021/04/20/graphic-video-columbus-police-release-bodycam-video-of-shooting/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Columbus, Ohio police officer was called over a domestic dispute involving Bryant</a>. When the officer arrived, Bryant was at the center of a fight with several other girls. Bryant then drew a knife and the responding officer ordered her to drop the weapon. Bryant then lunged at another girl with the knife, causing the officer to shoot and fatally wound her.

Despite <a href="https://twitter.com/shanermurph/status/1384703749046915074?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1384703749046915074%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com%2Flaw-and-order%2F2021%2F04%2F20%2Fgraphic-video-columbus-police-release-bodycam-video-of-shooting%2F" target="_blank" rel="noopener">evidence from the body-cam exonerating his actions</a>, Dr. Lindsay still alleges the incident is further proof of systemic racism and brutality directed specifically at black Americans. In an article for the site Truthout, she describes the officer’s actions—along with anyone who would defend them—<a href="https://truthout.org/articles/we-are-fighting-for-a-world-where-makhia-bryant-would-have-lived/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">as the normalization of police violence and “erasing the long and inglorious history” of police violence against black people</a>. Dr. Lindsay further states that Bryant should still be alive while calling for the defunding and eventual abolishment of police.

“Police do not make us safer. Police do not make Black children safer. Not at school. Not on university campuses. Not at home. As the body camera footage shows, police escalate. The killing of Ma’Khia is yet another painful reminder of why a growing number of people are focusing their energies on building alternatives to policing and demanding that we defund the police. It’s a reminder why so many people are agitating to remove the police from our homes, communities, and schools — and eventually abolish policing altogether.”

Despite her defense of Byrant, Dr. Lindsay holds a paradoxical stance on the police shooting of Ashli Babbitt. In a separate article for Bitch Media, Dr. Lindsay <a href="https://www.bitchmedia.org/article/not-applying-say-her-name-to-white-supremacists" target="_blank" rel="noopener">defends the actions of the Capitol Officer who shot Babbitt</a>. Describing her as a white supremacist—and providing no evidence—who took part in an insurrection alongside a “lynch mob.”

Dr. Lindsay is referring to the January 6th Capitol Hill Riots, <a href="https://www.npr.org/2021/02/09/965472049/the-capitol-siege-the-arrested-and-their-stories" target="_blank" rel="noopener">in which a number of protestors breached the Capitol’s Doors during certification of the 2020 Presidential Election</a>. Despite claims to the contrary, even the FBI has determined that <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/fbi-confirms-there-was-no-insurrection-on-january-6" target="_blank" rel="noopener">no evidence exists that any rioters coordinated to commit an “insurrection.</a>” Ashli Babbitt was shot by Officer Michael Byrd as she attempted to climb through the broken window of a closed door. A review by the DC Metropolitan Police<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/documents-ashli-babbitt-death-foia-capitol-police" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> confirmed that Babbitt was unarmed when shot</a>.

<a href="http://sts.cornell.edu/people/sbp65.cfm">Dr. Sara Pritchard</a> , a professor at Cornell University, has said that student evaluations of female professors are “pervasively slanted by gender bias” and thus prevents them from being more successful. Pritchard then goes on to say that because of blatant gender bias, female professors should be given bonus points in order to level the playing field.

<a href="https://history.cornell.edu/russell-rickford">Dr. Russell Rickford</a> is an associate professor of history at Cornell University. According to his university biography, Dr. Rickford “specializes in African-American political culture after World War II, the Black Radical Tradition, and transnational social movements.” In his various writings and teaching materials, Dr. Rickford frequently condemns the nation of Israel and alleges that the United States was founded on slavery and white supremacy.

In a book titled <a href="https://books.google.co.il/books?id=SEAeCwAAQBAJ&amp;pg=PA276&amp;lpg=PA276&amp;dq=Russell+Rickford+israel&amp;source=bl&amp;ots=vIzqNlUKjC&amp;sig=KRxT1-8CHqm0mHE_Fr8k_PI9bFQ&amp;hl=en&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=0ahUKEwiqg_3_t-DTAhUDIVAKHUUCDtMQ6AEIRDAG#v=onepage&amp;q=Russell%20Rickford%20israel&amp;f=false">Beyond Boundaries: The Manning Marable Reader</a>, Dr. Rickford alleges that Israel bears ultimate responsibility for the 9/11 terrorist attacks. On page 276, Dr. Rickford states: “The US media and opinion makers repeatedly went out of their way to twist the facts and distort the political realities of the Middle East by insisting that Osama bin Laden’s group’s murderous assaults had nothing to do with Israel’s policies towards the Palestinians. Nobody else in the world, with the possible exception of the Israeli’s, really believes that.”

In a paper for The New Labor Forum (a labor journal published by the <a href="https://slu.cuny.edu/about/murphy-institute/">Murphy Institute</a> at the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies) titled <a href="https://newlaborforum.cuny.edu/2015/12/28/black-lives-matter-practice-of-mass-struggle/">Black Lives Matter: Toward a Modern Practice of Mass Struggle</a>, Dr. Rickford praises the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement as having “reinvigorated confrontation politics.” He describes the tactics of BLM as a commitment to “militancy,” referencing their history of “occupying highways, intersections, sporting events, retail stores, malls, campaign events, police stations, and municipal buildings.”

According to a <a href="https://acleddata.com/2020/09/03/demonstrations-political-violence-in-america-new-data-for-summer-2020/">study conducted by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED)</a>, BLM can be linked to  95% of the riots around the country–notably in Summer 2020 following the death of George Floyd. In an analysis of the study, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/">The Federalist</a> found that “of the 633 incidents coded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter Activists.” The resulting riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion.">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>

Dr. Rickford believes the motivations behind BLM riots are “police aggression and racist violence” instigated by law enforcement.  Dr. Rickford claims that white supremacy serves as the framework of our criminal justice system—causing law enforcement agencies to view BLM protestors as “enemy combatants.”

He made a similar claim in a 2019 <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yl2deMaznt8&amp;t=240s&amp;ab_channel=TheColumbusDispatchTheColumbusDispatchVerified">speech</a> at the Vigil to End Human Concentration Camps in Ithaca, NY.

Dr. Monger further uses his classroom to intimidate and bully students if they fail to adhere to Cornell’s COVID-19 policies. In a letter from October of 2021, the professor asks for help in identifying a “hook-nosed” student. He threatens to flunk him, as well as another student who allegedly did not wear their mask in class.

In July of 2021, the university <a href="https://covid.cornell.edu/updates/20210730-indoor-masks.cfm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">mandated masks to be worn indoors at all times, regardless of vaccination status</a>. Cornell additionally <a href="https://covid.cornell.edu/vaccines/vaccination-cornell/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">requires students to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend classes</a>.

In the course-wide email—obtained by the Twitter handle “<a href="https://twitter.com/libsoftiktok/status/1455022824620376066?s=21" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Libs of Tik-Tok</a>”—Dr. Monger asks for help identifying two students who did not wear masks during the previous class period:

“I wanted to ask for your help in identifying two oceans students who were photographed with their masks off during the oceans class last Friday.”

Dr. Monger proceeds to detail the physical appearance of both students, stating that one had “a fairly prominent hooked nose.” He threatens to fail both students once they are identified by himself or another student.

“If/when I identify the students, I will be failing both of them for the semester as promised I would in class last Wednesday.”

When the email received significant media attention, Cornell University released a statement defending Dr. Monger. The University announced that Dr. Monger had acknowledged that he did not handle the situation in an “appropriate manner.” However, they still acknowledged his right to note the “potential consequences for failing to comply” with COVID-19 restrictions in his classroom.

<a href="https://fhssfaculty.byu.edu/directory/jane-lopez" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Jane Lopez</a> is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at <a href="https://www.byu.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brigham Young University</a> in Provo, Utah. According to her university biography, her research focuses on immigration, citizenship, law, race, and ethnicity.
In addition to teaching a class on immigration, Dr. Lopez is a sought-after speaker on the topic by the university. She was a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FNKG4m6FOg&amp;t=4041s&amp;ab_channel=BYUKennedyCenter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">featured guest in a Kennedy Center</a> event that condemned current immigration laws as oppressive and racist.
During her remarks, Dr. Lopez echoed her co-panelists praise of illegal immigration and encouragement to violate existing immigration laws. She further referred to the expectation of immigrants to learn English as a “privilege” of native-born Americans who will never face immigration laws.
Toward the end of her speech, Dr. Lopez stated that our ancestors were illegal immigrants. Americans have no right to deny immigrants, as this country “isn’t ours to begin with” and our ancestors caused &#8220;much greater destruction&#8221; than immigrants do today.

The assignment, titled “Revealing Whiteness Activity,” asks teams of 3-4 students to explore the different aspects of “whiteness” built into the “physical and social environment” of BYU,
“As a Predominantly White Institution (PWI), BYU not only has a disproportionate number of White students in its student body (compared to the US population as a whole), but it also has different aspects of “Whiteness” built into its physical and social environment.” 
The document cites University of Washington professor and author of “<a href="https://www.amazon.com/White-Fragility-People-About-Racism/dp/0807047414" target="_blank" rel="noopener">White Fragility</a>,” Robin DeAngelo, to define “whiteness” as the “specific dimensions of racism that serve to elevate White people over people of color.” She includes three additional definitions to further define the term as:
&#8211; A location of structural advantage, or “race privilege.”
&#8211; A “standpoint,” or a place from which White people look at themselves, at others, and at society.
&#8211; A set of cultural practices that are usually unmarked and unnamed.

Students are tasked with identifying and photographing three separate manifestations of alleged whiteness on BYU’s campus before uploading the assignment for a final grade.
The document was originally published by the student-led publication, “<a href="https://thecougarchronicle.godaddysites.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Cougar Chronicle,</a>” and <a href="https://www.tpusa.com/live/at-byu-all-you-have-to-do-to-get-an-a-is-be-a-racist" target="_blank" rel="noopener">highlighted by TPUSA’s Morgan Zegers</a>,
Upon the initial publication, a professor now identified as Dr. Eric Bybee, threatened to report all students affiliated with the story to BYU’s Honor Code Office. Dr. Bybee further called for the administration to investigate the students for possible conduct violations. (The names of the students cited by Dr. Bybee have been redacted at their request.) The author eventually altered the article out of concern for his academic standing.

<a href="https://fhssfaculty.byu.edu/directory/rebecca-deschweinitz" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Rebecca de Schweinitz</a> is an Associate Professor of History at <a href="https://www.byu.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brigham Young University</a> (BYU) in Provo, Utah. According to her university biography, Dr. de Schweinitz teaches subjects such as American History, US Women’s History, and African American History.

Much of Dr. de Schweinitz’s work focuses on racism within the LDS Church and BYU. In one of her published papers—tilted <a href="https://www.dialoguejournal.com/articles/there-is-no-equality-william-e-berrett-byu-and-healing-the-wounds-of-racism-in-the-latter-day-saint-past-and-present/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“There is No Equity”</a>—Dr. de Schweinitz details the history of racism within the university.

Dr. de Schweinitz is frequently cited by BYU for her expertise on racism, or more specifically, “anti-racism.” In one discussion—hosted by the BYU Kennedy Center—she extolls anti-racist scholar, Ibram X Kendi’s Book, “<a href="https://www.ibramxkendi.com/how-to-be-an-antiracist/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">How to be an Antiracist</a>.”

Dr. Kendi’s book became a bestseller in 2020 during the height of the BLM riots. The premise targets systemic racism and claims that not it is not enough or to be “non-racist,” an individual must be anti racist, or take proactive actions or support policies that alleviate racism.

During her comments on the panel, Dr. de Schweinitz <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RO0V1tQzMU&amp;ab_channel=BYUKennedyCenter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">vehemently endorses Dr. Kendi’s work</a>. She even goes as far as to compare herself to Dr. Kendi, lauding the historical credentials of the latter. Furthermore, she openly admits that Dr. Kendi’s conception is taught in her classroom and centers her scholarships.

At one point, she calls racism a “metastatic cancer” that affects every single aspect of life in the United States. She admits that Dr. Kendi is right, and that white people are “nurtured” to be racist.

Throughout the lecture, Dr. de Schweintz frequently references her LDS background as a pretext to cite the need to be “antiracist.” At one point, she compares God’s position on sin to her own—and by default, Dr. Keni’s as well—on racism; as one can either be for the world or for God, likewise you can either be racist or anti-racist.

This theme is <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPCoxKtNvsg&amp;ab_channel=BYUKennedyCenter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">continued in part two of the lecture.</a> Dr. de Schweinitz wastes no time in not only praising critical race theory, but listing it as integral to fighting racism.

As <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2012/03/11/what-is-critical-race-theory/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ben Shapiro writes in Breitbart News</a>, critical race theory is an intellectual branch of Marxism that views America and all of its institutions as being infected with white supremacy—to the point of some, including <a href="https://www.professorwatchlist.org/professor/nikolehannahjones" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nikole Hannah-Jones</a>, even <a href="https://reason.com/2020/09/23/1619-project-nikole-hannah-jones-1776-founding-race-new-york-times/">claiming</a> America’s real founding was in 1619 when the first slave stepped foot in North America, and not 1776 when the American colonies declared independence from England.

Dr. de Schweinitz states that anyone opposed to CRT is just viewing American history narrow-mindedly. She further states that an anti-racist America is “beautiful.” She articulates that critical theory is “one of many tools” that can be used by the church to alleviate racism.

<a href="https://fhssfaculty.byu.edu/directory/jane-lopez" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Jane Lopez</a> is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at <a href="https://www.byu.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brigham Young University</a> in Provo, Utah. According to her university biography, her research focuses on immigration, citizenship, law, race, and ethnicity.

In addition to teaching a class on immigration, Dr. Lopez is a sought-after speaker on the topic by the university. She was a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FNKG4m6FOg&amp;t=4041s&amp;ab_channel=BYUKennedyCenter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">featured guest in a Kennedy Center</a> event that condemned current immigration laws as oppressive and racist.

During her remarks, Dr. Lopez echoed her co-panelists praise of illegal immigration and encouragement to violate existing immigration laws. She further referred to the expectation of immigrants to learn English as a “privilege” of native-born Americans who will never face immigration laws.

Toward the end of her speech, Dr. Lopez stated that our ancestors were illegal immigrants. Americans have no right to deny immigrants, as this country “isn’t ours to begin with” and our ancestors caused "much greater destruction" than immigrants do today.

Dr. Lopez’s classes further focus on race and “white privilege.” In leaked documents from her course, SOC-112, Dr. Lopez tasked students to identify and expose “whiteness” at BYU.

The assignment, titled “Revealing Whiteness Activity,” asks teams of 3-4 students to explore the different aspects of “whiteness” built into the “physical and social environment” of BYU,

“As a Predominantly White Institution (PWI), BYU not only has a disproportionate number of White students in its student body (compared to the US population as a whole), but it also has different aspects of “Whiteness” built into its physical and social environment.” 

The document cites University of Washington professor and author of “<a href="https://www.amazon.com/White-Fragility-People-About-Racism/dp/0807047414" target="_blank" rel="noopener">White Fragility</a>,” Robin DeAngelo, to define “whiteness” as the “specific dimensions of racism that serve to elevate White people over people of color.” She includes three additional definitions to further define the term as:
- A location of structural advantage, or “race privilege.”
- A “standpoint,” or a place from which White people look at themselves, at others, and at society.
- A set of cultural practices that are usually unmarked and unnamed.

Students are tasked with identifying and photographing three separate manifestations of alleged whiteness on BYU’s campus before uploading the assignment for a final grade.

The document was originally published by the student-led publication, “<a href="https://thecougarchronicle.godaddysites.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Cougar Chronicle,</a>” and <a href="https://www.tpusa.com/live/at-byu-all-you-have-to-do-to-get-an-a-is-be-a-racist" target="_blank" rel="noopener">highlighted by TPUSA’s Morgan Zegers</a>,

Upon the initial publication, a professor now identified as Dr. Eric Bybee, threatened to report all students affiliated with the story to BYU’s Honor Code Office. Dr. Bybee further called for the administration to investigate the students for possible conduct violations. (The names of the students cited by Dr. Bybee have been redacted at their request.) The author eventually altered the article out of concern for his academic standing.

McKay School of Education</a> at <a href="https://www.byu.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brigham Young University</a> in Provo, Utah.

In a message to the conservative, student-run publication, <a href="https://thecougarchronicle.godaddysites.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Cougar Chronicle</a>, Dr. Bybee threatened to report writers of the site and others for academic misconduct. The incident stemmed from a report by the paper in which a document from Dr. Jane Lopez’s course was published.

Her assignment—titled, “Revealing Whiteness Activity,”—asked students to identify and photograph three aspects of “whiteness” represented at BYU. The document further cited the author of “White Fragility”, Robin DeAngelo, to define “whiteness” as “specific dimensions of racism that serve to elevate white people over people of color.”

Several days after the story was posted, the site was inundated with comments accusing the author of posting private intellectual property.

Shortly after, Dr. Eric Bybee privately messaged the Chronicle and demanded the post be taken down. He likewise accused the authors of stealing Dr. Lopez’s intellectual property and engaging in “targeted harassment” before assuring that he is committed to pursuing “appropriate consequences” against those responsible.

He threatened to report several conservative students and activists on campus—including several who do not even write for the paper—to the university’s Honor Code office administration for disciplinary action (The names of the students have been blurred at their request).

<a href="https://honorcode.byu.edu/about-us" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Honor Code Office</a> is tasked with enforcing the university’s code of conduct. Those found in violation may face academic discipline or—in extreme cases—expulsion from BYU.

Upon review of the Honor Code by the Professor Watchlist Team, t<a href="https://catalog.byu.edu/policy/academic-honesty">here appears to be no rule against the posting of an assignment</a>.

While the office ultimately chose to not investigate, the author of the story eventually edited the sections of the report that included Dr. Lopez’s course due to the nature of the threat. <a href="https://profiles.ucr.edu/app/home/profile/janew">Jane Ward</a> is a professor of Gender and Sexuality Studies at the University of California &#8211; Riverside. According to her personal website, Ward <a href="https://www.janewardphd.com/">teaches</a> courses in feminist, queer, and heterosexuality studies. She also <a href="https://gsst104thewitch.weebly.com/">teaches</a> a course titled, “Witches, Gender and Religion.” A “Witch,” according to Ward–who instructs the course with a “postcolonial feminist lens”–threatens capitalism, settler colonialism, and Christianity.
Ward is the <a href="https://www.theblaze.com/news/professor-heterosexuality-tragic-causes-societal-problems">author</a> of a book titled, “The Tragedy of Heterosexuality.” Ward’s central premise of the book–<a href="https://www.insider.com/why-straight-relationships-are-doomed-according-to-sex-researcher-2020-12">outlined</a> in a 2020 article for Insider_ is her belief that heterosexuality strains relationships between the sexes, and causes men to objectify women.

According to Ward, the idea of heterosexuality formed the “romanticized narrative” of a gender binary and “pigeon-holed” men into a toxic-masculine culture. She states that Covid-19 is now exposing the “tragedy” of heterosexuality, citing the uptick in divorce since the pandemic began.

Ward alleges that the marriage advice offered by figures in the 19th-eugenics movement is the cause of “violence and inequity” between heterosexual couples today.
In a <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/article?id=16693">statement</a> to Campus Reform, Ward explained that she “loves straight couples” and wants them to have better relationships.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Ward <a href="https://www.janewardphd.com/resources.html">offers</a> “Childhood Gender Diversity Training” seminars. According to her personal website, Jane advocates for “celebrating” a child’s gender diversity and self-expression, and offers the training to help adults, parents, and teachers refrain from “policing” a child’s gender expression. Ward is also a <a href="https://www.ipetitions.com/petition/support-affirmative-care-for-trans-kids">signatory</a> to an open petition urging the Canadian government and others “to join us in calling for additional funding to develop more services to better support gender diverse children.”

In a video, provided exclusively to the TPUSA’s Professor Watchlist team by an anonymous source, Andrew Reeves is seen screaming at his class for not properly wearing their masks.
<a href="https://www.utica.edu/covid-immunization">As of September 2021, Utica College requires all students and employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19</a>. While masks are not required for vaccinated individuals, Dr. Reeves still requires them for his class.
The incident began when a student lowered his mask to sneeze and then placed it back on his face. Dr. Reeves then reprimanded the student and ordered him to keep his mask on at all times. The student responded that it felt disgusting to sneeze into a mask that would be worn all day, with others in the class audibly agreeing.
Dr. Reeves then launched into a bizarre analogy; if two people were in the bathroom and one were to pee on the other without wearing pants, the other person would still get wet. However, if the students were wearing pants, he would only wet himself. Dr. Reeves compared this situation to the aforementioned student urging him to keep his mask on even when sneezing.
Other students then retorted that his analogy was disgusting and what he was advocating for was unsanitary. This caused Dr. Revers to launch into a profanity-laced tirade.

<a href="https://art.appstate.edu/connect/directory/stephenson-john" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. John Stephenson</a> is an associate professor of Art History at <a href="https://www.appstate.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Appalachian State University</a> in Boone, North Carolina.
In an email provided exclusively to the Professor Watchlist team by an anonymous source, Dr. Stephenson pressured students who had not received the COVID-19 vaccine to drop his class.
During the Fall 2021 semester, Dr. Stephenson gave his students a questionnaire the day before the email was sent on August 18th. One question asked students if they were vaccinated against COVID-19. In the letter, Dr. Stephenson announced the findings of the survey, which allegedly indicated that 25% of the class had yet to be vaccinated.
“Hi Folks- We took the student questionnaire yesterday, and I appreciate the many who answered frankly about their vaccination status: just to report that at the least, 20% of our class is not vaccinated. Since some left that blank, we must guess that they too are unvaccinated, so likely~25% of our students are not vaccinated.” 
Dr. Stephenson then castigates students who elected not to receive the vaccine, describing their decision as “highly dubious” and “tragic.”
“Among those who frankly reported a reason, the several who reported they&#8217;ve already had covid {sic} and thus have antibodies presented a logical reason. For others who share that they “just don’t trust it,” “its too soon,” or yes- that, “their own families are begging them not to get vaccinated”- these are objectively highly dubious and frankly tragic reasons. Two numbers speak for themselves- approaching 700,000 Americans DEAD from covid SO FAR, nearly all without vaccines, and approx. ONE Billion, 200 THOUSAND vaccines given worldwide, almost ENTIRELY safely.”
Continuing, Dr. Stephenson stresses the danger of the “Delta” variant, alleging it to be far more virulent than past COVID strains. He further alleges that it is “incorrect” to assume young and asymptomatic people cannot spread the virus.
“The new, virulent Delta variant puts a new tragic urgency to this: more young people and children are getting sick, over 400 small children have died in the U.S. so far, Delta produces ONE THOUSAND TIMES more viruses in the nasal passages than before, those infected with Delta average FIVE others they infect, 40-60% more than before; and even if one imagines incorrectly that they’re ‘immune,’ due to youth, they will still spread Delta to about 5 other people even if they show no symptoms. Do the math in our class. On top of that, it is now shown that Delta is more virulent and produces worse and longer symptoms than before.”
Dr. Stephenson accuses his students’ parents of being “mired in the same lack of real facts” and thus contributing to the severity of the pandemic. He urges them to not rely on their parents, pastors, or other “right news sources.” Dr. Stephenson accuses the latter of lying repeatedly “without penalty” due to the “high bar of prosecution” in the US.
“Here’s one place the tragedy starts: you cannot be a responsible, informed American citizen if you only get ‘news’ in tailored, biased nuggets from Facebook and other private sources from Facebook and other private sources. You cannot offload your responsibility and knowledge to parents, esp since many, like mine own, are mired in the same lack of real facts. You cannot rely on right wing news sources: in the US, the bar is so high for prosecution that they can regularly lie about covid and the rest without penalty- and they do, And you can’t rely on traditional sources of authority such as your pastor if they are mired in the same loop of misinformation that spreads like a virus on social media and ‘news.’ You MUST learn and think, for yourself, and that starts with availing yourself of the best, real data and news. Laziness regarding our info sources and our responsibilities truth have led us to this point we are in today, in all of the political and medical outcomes.” 
Dr. Stephenson proceeds to laud the Washington Post and New York Times for their “extremely high standards for accuracy” and fact-checking staff. He encourages students to purchase a subscription in order to best inform themselves about the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It’s always been the case that our most trusted regular facts and news come from our largest, city based print based news organizations, like the Washington Post and the New York Times.The Washington Post offers students and faculty a daily digital newspaper at a mere $4.50 per month, and it’s the best deal on any product of any kind! These organizations have extremely high standards for accuracy, and employ very large staffs dedicated solely to checking a {sic] re-checking the facts on any issue, before they put their imprint on it and publish. Please consider a subscription if you haven’t already.”
Finally reaching the peak of his crescendo, Dr. Stephenson laments that herd immunity will never be reached and “we will likely suffer with this forever.” He requests unvaccinated students to withdraw from his class, claiming they could “wipe out” himself and the rest of the class.
“A reminder that if most Americans had gotten the vaccine long before this tragic date, we likely could have reached sufficient herd immunity &#8211; could have controlled or wiped out covid already &#8211; and we’d be sitting in our free and easy classrooms &#8211; without masks or worries. It’s now predicted that we can never reach herd immunity, and will likely suffer with this forever. So I ask finally, that those who are not vaccinated and have no factual health reason for that, consider dropping our course. Just the 20% who are unvaccinated could wipe out me and our class in “ideal” viral conditions. “ I can’t make you, and I certainly won’t call you out or punish you, but these are the FACTS.”

The Professor Watchlist Team reached out to Dr. Stephenson for comment prior to publication. In his response, Dr. Stephenson initially described our inquiry as “bullshit” and having quoted him out of context, but then proceeded to defend his remarks. Dr. Stephenson additionally claimed he received permission from a University Provost to ask about a student’s vaccination status.
He further referred to the author of the profile as a “wack job,” described Turning Point as a “Trump cult fake organization, ” and attached a screenshot of the author’s personal Twitter profile to the email. Dr. Stephenson additionally attached members of the Department of Art to his email.

It&#8217;s on public record in the audio recording , so eat one. The rest of your claims are bullshit taken out of context, though yes, it&#8217;s true that if a pastor, or any other authority figure is mired in your looney conspiracy theories that put politics above their very life,  a young person would be much safer finding out for themselves. Keep your lunatic fringe crap to the swamp you come from or contact our admin. The Professor Watchlist Team reached out to Dr. Stephenson for comment prior to publication. In his response, Dr. Stephenson initially described our inquiry as “bullshit” and having quoted him out of context, but then proceeded to defend his remarks. Dr. Stephenson additionally claimed he received permission from a University Provost to ask about a student’s vaccination status.

He further referred to the author of the profile as a “wack job,” described Turning Point as a “Trump cult fake organization, ” and attached a screenshot of the author’s personal Twitter profile to the email. Dr. Stephenson additionally attached members of the Department of Art to his email.

The full text and screenshot of the email are included below.

“Dear 'Team'- or Ben Larrabee that is- wack job with the Trump cult fake organization "Professor Watchlist" perhaps? I am a Faculty Senator - and in our Senate retreat of Saturday August 14, our Provost Heather Norris stated that we were permitted to inquire with students about their vaccination status. It's on public record in the audio recording , so eat one. The rest of your claims are bullshit taken out of context, though yes, it's true that if a pastor, or any other authority figure is mired in your looney conspiracy theories that put politics above their very life,  a young person would be much safer finding out for themselves. Keep your lunatic fringe crap to the swamp you come from or contact our admin. I'm busy doing my job.  But do put me on your smarmy "list," I would be honored.  How's that for a 'speedy reply.'   Thank you! John Stephenson”

While recently he has been in the news for teaching a course called &#8220;The Problem of Whiteness&#8221;, Sanjani is far more controversial than just that class on race relations and white supremacy. He previously retweeted a tweet about assassinating Donald Trump and tweeted in support of the Dallas cop killings.

Dr. Sami Schalk

<a href="https://gws.wisc.edu/staff/schalk-sami/">Dr. Sami Schalk</a> is an Associate Professor in the Department of Gender and Women’s Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. According to her university biography, Schalk’s work is centered on “disability, race, and gender in contemporary American literature and culture.” Schalk has risen to prominence recently due to her racially inflammatory remarks and sympathy towards rioters tearing down statues.
In a now-deleted exchange and series of tweets, Schalk <a href="https://campusreform.org/?ID=14268">stated</a> that white people can’t decide what is racist: 
“This is your semi-annual reminder that white people do not get to determine what is &amp; is not racist. If a person of color calls you racist, it’s probably bc [because] you did something racist whether you can recognize it or not. Now back to your regular scheduled programming.” 
She later tweeted that only white people cannot live in the sun, writing, &#8220;Out of the sun. You know they got destroyed by the thing that keeps everything else on this planet alive&#8230;&#8221;
Schalk is also a vocal advocate of the riots that destroyed statues in Madison. In a series of tweets, she vaguely <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/u-wisconsin-madison-professor-cheers-protesters-tearing-down-statues-honoring-abolitionist-womens-progress/">threatened</a> that the “uprising” would continue if the rioters&#8217; demands weren’t met. If there was any ambiguity to her beliefs, she then tweeted that people don’t have anything else to do “but disrupt the f*** out of this city” and that the city of Madison should defund the police.
