Jackson</a> is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and a Senior Research Associate at the <a href="https://www.maxwell.syr.edu/campbell/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Campbell Public Affairs Institute</a> at <a href="https://www.syracuse.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Syracuse University.</a> According to her university biography, Dr. Jackson’s research and teachings are focused on “black politics, gender and sexuality, political behavior, public opinion, and mixed methods.”

During the rioting that followed George Floyd’s death, Professor Dr. Jackson described police officers on her personal <a href="https://twitter.com/JennMJacksonPhD" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Twitter</a> account as "employed in an institution meant to eradicate Blackness.”

According to a <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">study conducted by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED)</a>, BLM can be linked to 95% of the riots around the country–notably in Summer 2020 following the death of George Floyd. In an analysis of the study, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Federalist</a> found, “of the 633 incidents coded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter Activists.” The resulting riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion." target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>

Dr. Jackson further defended the rioter’s vandalism and looting, describing it as a justified response to white supremacy.

On September 10th, 2021—just before the twentieth anniversary of the terrorist attacks—Dr. Jackson tweeted that she was “disturbed” by how many “white pundits and correspondents” still talk about 9/11.

In the same thread—that was first made private by Dr. Jackson but is still available as of September 2021—she declared the 9/11 attacks in New York City as an “attack on heteropatriarchal capitalistic systems.”

<a href="https://equity.ucla.edu/who-we-are/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mr. Johnathan Perkins</a> is the Director of Race and Equity for the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the University of California &#8211; Los Angeles.
In a series of tweets—<a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/uclas-race-and-equity-officer-who-wished-death-upon-clarence-thomas-once-admitted-to-staging-a-race-hoax" target="_blank" rel="noopener">first highlighted by the Post Millennial</a>—Mr. Perkins attacks Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife, Ginni Thomas, writing that he hopes Mr. Thomas dies in the hospital and accuses Mrs. Thomas of treason.

At the time, <a href="https://news.yahoo.com/justice-clarence-thomas-hospital-supreme-151322076.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Clarence Thomas had been hospitalized for the flu</a>. The accusation directed at Ginni Thomas refers to her involvement in <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/03/28/jan-6-committee-likely-to-request-ginni-thomas-testimony/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">voter integrity protests surrounding the 2020 general election</a>.
In the tweet, Mr. Perkins refers to Clarence Thomas as “Uncle Thomas.” The phrase is a racial slur used to accuse black people of selling out their race to white people.
Mr. Perkins is no stranger to racially-incendiary remarks. On his <a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog" target="_blank" rel="noopener">personal blog, he writes about white privilege, systemic racism, and antiracist work</a> on a frequent basis.
In one article, he berates the <a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2020/10/1/an-open-letter-to-my-white-extended-family-ahead-of-november-3rd" target="_blank" rel="noopener">conservative, white members of his family in an open letter posted prior to the 2020 general election</a>. He demands to know who plans to vote for a president who “incites white supremacist violence against black people” and vows to never associate with that family member again:
“If you, or any of your immediate family (spouses, children, children-in-law) are planning to vote for Donald Trump on November 3, I ask that you please contact me to discuss before that date. I hope that I never again have the unfortunate experience of discovering that someone in my own family has voted for a president who continues to incite white supremacist violence against Black people, violence and hate against the LGBTQ+ community, hatred and misogyny against women, and violent racist xenophobia against brown immigrants.
If, once again, we affected family members are forced to cope with this trauma, I regret that I, personally, will no longer be able to associate with the family member/voter in question. I will not attend family events where that member is present and will call out said family loudly whenever we interact from now on. I will no longer ignore the fact that my family members voted for all these things, against my humanity.“
<a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2020/2/27/white-privilege-a-euphemism-for-white-supremacy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Another post defines white privilege</a> as “the idea that white people enjoy a particular set of benefits, simply by virtue of their whiteness (despite the harmful costs).” Mr. Perkins further writes that this privilege is a “manifestation of white supremacy” and many white people may be regarded as virulently racist as a Klansman.
“I need to make something abundantly clear: white supremacy, like most harmful social constructs, exists on a spectrum. The Beverly Hills middle school English teacher who, intentionally or otherwise, does not include literature by black authors in her curriculum, is operating within the same fundamental system of beliefs, the same structure, as the Mississippi Klansman: whiteness as supreme, which by definition does not acknowledge blackness, which necessarily degrades it.“
In one article—published during ongoing riots in the summer of 2020—Dr. Perkins <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20220328223757/https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2020/5/31/dont-talk-to-me-about-looting-an-open-letter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">excoriates white people who might hold concerns about the continuous rioting and looting</a> that was occurring in cities across the country. Describing white people as the “original looters of this country,” he writes that America had been founded on looting and violence, and no meaningful civil rights movements can, or would take place without riots:
“America is the original looter. White people are the original looters in this country. The original colonizers looted the indigenous people of this land damn-near completely to death. The original colonizers stole us from our homes, brought us to this place, and continued to loot and terrorize us for the last 400 years.
Violence has been the American way since its inception. Looting and pillaging is as American as apple pie. You think the so-called Boston Tea Party was a party? It was a riot.
No meaningful civil rights advancement has taken place in this country without riots. I personally choose to never carry out or even promote violence. But police violence, government violence, is the only thing Black people have ever known in America.” 
The BLM-inspired riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion." target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>
Mr. Perkins <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/campus-hate-crime-hoaxes-a-best-of-list/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">previously staged a race hoax while attending the University of Virginia.</a> He alleged that two police officers racially profiled him frisked him, and mocked him during detention. Although <a href="https://www.facebook.com/notes/964739540685101/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">later admitting that he fabricated the incident</a>, he now maintains the <a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2019/2/24/7-points-to-consider-about-the-jussie-smollett-ordeal-from-someone-whos-been-there" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FBI pressured him to recant his story</a>.
In his role at UCLA, Mr. Perkins describes himself as a “<a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2019/8/17/g2t7llr5oviffi0gq4do7cqr2bn1k4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">full-time professional practitioner of anti-racism”</a> who is dedicated to dismantling white supremacy. <a href="https://equity.ucla.edu/edi-ucla/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">According to its website, the purpose of The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion</a> itself is based on the <a href="https://www.un.org/en/udhrbook/pdf/udhr_booklet_en_web.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">UN Declaration of Human Rights</a>.
The Professor Watchlist Team reached out to Mr. Perkins for comment but have not received a reply by the time of publication.

<a href="https://law.ucla.edu/faculty/faculty-profiles/jonathan-m-zasloff/">Jonathan Zasloff</a> is a Professor of Law at the University of California, Los Angeles. Zasloff was caught on social media in January of 2015 stating that Republicans were catering to their KKK core of old, angry, white Southern men with reactionary views on race.

<a href="https://history.ucla.edu/faculty/robin-kelley">Dr. Robin Kelley</a> is the Gary B. Nash Endowed Chair and Professor of History at the University of California, Los Angeles.

A <a href="https://news.stanford.edu/news/1998/july29/kelley729.html">self-described</a> “Marxist" and "surrealist feminist,” Kelley wrote an article for the <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/18/opinion/george-floyd-protests-looting.html">New York Times</a> in which he excused the riots and looting following George Floyd’s death, as it pails in comparison to the "looting" that America was founded upon.

Although attempting to frame right-wing rioters as the REAL culprits behind the rampant destruction, Kelley attempts to excuse looting by claiming the real disaster is racism afflicted upon minorities in America, and chastises Americans’ concern over the rioting. He asks, "What kind of society values property over black life?"

Dr. Robin Kelley is also a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against the state of Israel. As the co-author on an editorial in the <a href="https://electronicintifada.net/content/educators-cant-stay-silent-about-israeli-apartheid/10928">Electronic Intifada</a>,  Kelley argued that Israel is an “apartheid state” and urged his fellow academics to boycott Israel in an attempt to cripple the nation.

<a href="https://www.confucius.ucla.edu/about-us/susan-pertel-jain">Susan Partel Jain</a> is the Executive Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of California - Los Angeles. The Confucius Institute is funded by the Chinese Communist Party and serves as a focal point for the dissemination of propaganda from and foreign espionage.

<a href="https://law.ucla.edu/faculty/faculty-profiles/kimberle-w-crenshaw">Dr. Kimberlé Crenshaw</a> is a Professor of Law and the Promise Institute Chair in Human Rights at the <a href="https://www.ucla.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA)</a>. She also teaches law as a professor at the <a href="https://www.law.columbia.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Columbia School of Law</a>.

Dr. Crenshaw is best recognized as a founding scholar of critical race theory and intersectionality. She has continued to make significant contributions to each field throughout her career. Both concepts have been widely adopted by the radical left as the basis for their activism and movements.

Dr. Crenshaw <a href="https://www.jstor.org/stable/1229039?read-now=1&amp;refreqid=excelsior%3Ad80f43d375e3f40179924f768317a237&amp;seq=1#page_scan_tab_contents" target="_blank" rel="noopener">first defined intersectionality in a landmark paper published for the Stanford Law Review, titled, “Mapping the Margins.</a>” In it, she praises identity politics as necessary to the lived experiences of American minorities.

However, Dr. Crenshaw then comments that identity politics does not go nearly far enough, countering that intersectionality is needed to successfully combat what she alleges is the systemic oppression minorities face in America.

Intersectionality is used by activists and academics to depict racial and sexual oppression as interconnected amongst various minority groups. For example in “Mapping the Margins,” Dr. Crenshaw claims that a black woman would suffer from both systemic racism and sexism in America. She further characterizes the theory as the link between <a href="https://newdiscourses.com/2021/03/forging-woke-one-ring-kimberle-crenshaws-mapping-margins/">contemporary politics and postmodernism</a>. Academic James Lindsay describes <a href="https://newdiscourses.com/2021/03/forging-woke-one-ring-kimberle-crenshaws-mapping-margins/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">intersectionality as the “birthplace of wokeness.”</a>

Much of intersectionality’s academic framework was used by Dr. Crenshaw to develop concepts of critical race theory. She drew additional inspiration from <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/society/2020/nov/12/kimberle-crenshaw-the-woman-who-revolutionised-feminism-and-landed-at-the-heart-of-the-culture-wars" target="_blank" rel="noopener">critical legal studies, which, like critical race theory, posits that no American law can truly be neutral or impartial.</a>

Ben Shapiro defines critical race theory—also referred to as critical theory—in an article for Breitbart <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2012/03/11/what-is-critical-race-theory/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">as an intellectual branch of Marxism that alleges American society and all of its founding institutions are infected with white supremacy</a>. Furthermore, proponents of critical race theory believe that people should take proactive steps to dismantle these institutions in the name of equity, which is also referred to as being “anti-racist.”

Dr. Crenshaw herself further defined the concept in an appearance on MSNBC in July of 2021, She characterized her theory as a method to understand how racial inequality is produced—or acts as a “conduit”—from laws, institutions, and historical oppression, all of which are referenced interchangeably with white supremacy. One such institution that Dr. Crenshaw targets are police departments and policing as a whole. In a <a href="https://mobile.twitter.com/sandylocks/status/1306271685625049089?lang=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tweet from September 2020</a>, she demanded that all police departments be defunded, a move deemed necessary for the full dismantlement of “white nationalism.”

Crenshaw’s work and activism have been instrumental to school districts adopting critical race theory into their curriculums. One district in Illinois allegedly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/lawsuit-illinois-school-district-forced-students-on-privilege-walks-compared-whiteness-to-the-devil" target="_blank" rel="noopener">segregated students by race during a “privilege walk</a>” and compared “whiteness” to the devil during class lessons. Another school district in Buffalo, New York taught students that<a href="https://www.city-journal.org/buffalo-public-schools-critical-race-theory-curriculum" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> America is, “built on racism,” and all Americans, “have an implicit racial bias.</a>”

Dr. Crensaw’s work has spawned other prominent critical race theorists like Dr. Nikole Hannah-Jones, author of the 1619 Project. She has described <a href="https://news.columbia.edu/news/what-does-intersectionality-mean-2021-kimberle-crenshaws-podcast-must-listen-way-learn" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Jones work as “phenomenal” to the rethinking of the American founding</a>.

Dr. Jones <a href="https://reason.com/2020/09/23/1619-project-nikole-hannah-jones-1776-founding-race-new-york-times/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claims</a> that America’s real founding was in 1619 when the first slave stepped foot in North America, and not 1776 when the American colonies declared independence from England. <a href="https://nypost.com/2020/03/14/new-york-times-corrects-the-1619-project-but-its-still-a-giant-lie/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Though now retracted for numerous false claims</a>, the documents have now been <a href="https://dc.medill.northwestern.edu/blog/2020/07/21/the-1619-project-curriculum-taught-in-over-4500-schools-frederick-county-public-schools-has-the-option/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">added to the curriculum of 4,500 schools across the country</a>.

Despite evidence to the contrary, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/7-lying-media-outlets-claiming-crt-isnt-being-taught-in-public-schools" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a number of pundits on the left claim that critical race theory isn’t being taught in schools</a>. <a href="https://equity.ucla.edu/who-we-are/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mr. Johnathan Perkins</a> is the Director of Race and Equity for the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the University of California - Los Angeles.

In a series of tweets—<a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/uclas-race-and-equity-officer-who-wished-death-upon-clarence-thomas-once-admitted-to-staging-a-race-hoax" target="_blank" rel="noopener">first highlighted by the Post Millennial</a>—Mr. Perkins attacks Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife, Ginni Thomas, writing that he hopes Mr. Thomas dies in the hospital and accuses Mrs. Thomas of treason.

At the time, <a href="https://news.yahoo.com/justice-clarence-thomas-hospital-supreme-151322076.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Clarence Thomas had been hospitalized for the flu</a>. The accusation directed at Ginni Thomas refers to her involvement in <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/03/28/jan-6-committee-likely-to-request-ginni-thomas-testimony/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">voter integrity protests surrounding the 2020 general election</a>.

In the tweet, Mr. Perkins refers to Clarence Thomas as “Uncle Thomas.” The phrase is a racial slur used to accuse black people of selling out their race to white people.

Mr. Perkins is no stranger to racially-incendiary remarks. On his <a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog" target="_blank" rel="noopener">personal blog, he writes about white privilege, systemic racism, and antiracist work</a> on a frequent basis.

In one article, he berates the <a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2020/10/1/an-open-letter-to-my-white-extended-family-ahead-of-november-3rd" target="_blank" rel="noopener">conservative, white members of his family in an open letter posted prior to the 2020 general election</a>. He demands to know who plans to vote for a president who “incites white supremacist violence against black people” and vows to never associate with that family member again:

“If you, or any of your immediate family (spouses, children, children-in-law) are planning to vote for Donald Trump on November 3, I ask that you please contact me to discuss before that date. I hope that I never again have the unfortunate experience of discovering that someone in my own family has voted for a president who continues to incite white supremacist violence against Black people, violence and hate against the LGBTQ+ community, hatred and misogyny against women, and violent racist xenophobia against brown immigrants.

If, once again, we affected family members are forced to cope with this trauma, I regret that I, personally, will no longer be able to associate with the family member/voter in question. I will not attend family events where that member is present and will call out said family loudly whenever we interact from now on. I will no longer ignore the fact that my family members voted for all these things, against my humanity.“

<a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2020/2/27/white-privilege-a-euphemism-for-white-supremacy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Another post defines white privilege</a> as “the idea that white people enjoy a particular set of benefits, simply by virtue of their whiteness (despite the harmful costs).” Mr. Perkins further writes that this privilege is a “manifestation of white supremacy” and many white people may be regarded as virulently racist as a Klansman.

“I need to make something abundantly clear: white supremacy, like most harmful social constructs, exists on a spectrum. The Beverly Hills middle school English teacher who, intentionally or otherwise, does not include literature by black authors in her curriculum, is operating within the same fundamental system of beliefs, the same structure, as the Mississippi Klansman: whiteness as supreme, which by definition does not acknowledge blackness, which necessarily degrades it.“

In one article—published during ongoing riots in the summer of 2020—Dr. Perkins <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20220328223757/https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2020/5/31/dont-talk-to-me-about-looting-an-open-letter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">excoriates white people who might hold concerns about the continuous rioting and looting</a> that was occurring in cities across the country. Describing white people as the “original looters of this country,” he writes that America had been founded on looting and violence, and no meaningful civil rights movements can, or would take place without riots:

“America is the original looter. White people are the original looters in this country. The original colonizers looted the indigenous people of this land damn-near completely to death. The original colonizers stole us from our homes, brought us to this place, and continued to loot and terrorize us for the last 400 years.

Violence has been the American way since its inception. Looting and pillaging is as American as apple pie. You think the so-called Boston Tea Party was a party? It was a riot.

No meaningful civil rights advancement has taken place in this country without riots. I personally choose to never carry out or even promote violence. But police violence, government violence, is the only thing Black people have ever known in America.” 

The BLM-inspired riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion." target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>

Mr. Perkins <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/campus-hate-crime-hoaxes-a-best-of-list/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">previously staged a race hoax while attending the University of Virginia.</a> He alleged that two police officers racially profiled him frisked him, and mocked him during detention. Although <a href="https://www.facebook.com/notes/964739540685101/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">later admitting that he fabricated the incident</a>, he now maintains the <a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2019/2/24/7-points-to-consider-about-the-jussie-smollett-ordeal-from-someone-whos-been-there" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FBI pressured him to recant his story</a>.

In his role at UCLA, Mr. Perkins describes himself as a “<a href="https://johnathansperkins.com/blog/2019/8/17/g2t7llr5oviffi0gq4do7cqr2bn1k4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">full-time professional practitioner of anti-racism”</a> who is dedicated to dismantling white supremacy. <a href="https://equity.ucla.edu/edi-ucla/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">According to its website, the purpose of The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion</a> itself is based on the <a href="https://www.un.org/en/udhrbook/pdf/udhr_booklet_en_web.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">UN Declaration of Human Rights</a>.

The Professor Watchlist Team reached out to Mr. Perkins for comment but have not received a reply by the time of publication.

<a href="http://journalism.utexas.edu/faculty/robert-jensen">Dr. Robert Jensen</a> is a Professor of Journalism at the University of Texas, Austin. In an essay on a social justice website, Jensen argued that rape is part of the larger violent, patriarchy. He told Campus Reform that, “I don’t believe there will be any serious progress toward eliminating men’s violence against women if we do not address the toxic notions about masculinity in patriarchy—masculinity understood as rooted in control, conquest, aggression.” Jensen also attacked a major anti-sexual assault group for blaming the perpetrators for rape, instead of focusing on the patriarchal culture as the main cause.

Dr. Vincent was Vice-President for Diversity and Community Engagement at the University of Texas-Austin. On two separate occasions, he condemned an affirmative action bake sale as "demeaning" and "deplorable". Leaving to assume the role of President of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, he later <a href="https://www.jbhe.com/2018/04/gregory-vincent-resigns-as-president-of-hobart-and-william-smith-colleges/">resigned</a> after allegations arose that he plagiarized his doctoral dissertation.

<a href="https://education.utexas.edu/faculty/jennifer_adair">Dr. Jennifer Adair</a> is an Associate Professor at the University of Texas, Austin. Dr. Adair proposed indoctrinating children as young as kindergarten in racial issues, in order to ‘prevent another Ferguson.' One proposed project involved having the students make protest signs about racial injustice or other art projects about school integration or bus boycotts. Adair and the other professors working with her drew heavily from the philosophy of radical historian Howard Zinn in their effort.

<a href="http://liberalarts.utexas.edu/history/faculty/profile.php?id=jn324">Dr. Joan Neuberger</a>, a professor at University of Texas-Austin led anti-campus carry efforts, including a petition to bar students who conceal carry from entering classrooms, in violation of Texas law. A change.org petition organized by the same group said, “WE OPPOSE GUNS IN OUR CLASSROOMS AS A DIRECT ASSAULT ON OUR FREE SPEECH RIGHTS.” Despite her proclamations about the dangers of guns, Neuberger is not actually a statistician or criminal justice professor, but a Russian history professor.

<a href="http://www.utexas.edu/cola/rs/faculty/profile.php?id=jt27">Dr. John Traphagan</a> is a Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Texas, Austin. A Campus Reform article states, "In a column for the Dallas Morning News, University of Texas at Austin professor John Traphagan said Americans are 'unable to handle' gun ownership. According to Traphagan, the U.S. should curtail or eliminate the ability to purchase guns and 'prohibit many forms of gun ownership.'"

<a href="https://liberalarts.utexas.edu/english/faculty/sas347">Snehal Shingavi</a> is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Texas, Austin.

While teaching at the University of California, Berkeley, Shingavi co-founded the anti-Israel group <a href="https://canarymission.org/organization/sjp">Students for Justice in Palestine</a> (SJP) with Professor Hatem Bazian.  SJP is known for its vitriolic campaigns and aggressively confronting Jewish and pro-Israel students on campus. They are also known for their active role in Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaigns on university campuses.

Snehal first generated controversy at UC Berkeley in 2002 for his <a href="https://www.meforum.org/campus-watch/7789/hardball-interview-with-snehal-shingavi">course</a>, "The Politics and Poetics of Palestinian Resistance." The course description alleged that Israel has “systematically displaced, killed and maimed millions of Palestinian people.”

The course also all, but outright barred conservative students from attending: “This class takes as its starting point the right of Palestinians to fight for their own self-determination. Conservative thinkers are encouraged to seek other sections.”

Now teaching at UT Austin, <a href="https://canarymission.org/professor/Snehal_Shingavi">Shehal</a> is a regular at protests and events committed to demonizing Israel. During a 2014 lecture, he <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAGtcdPL244&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;t=13m15s">likened</a> Israel to Nazi Germany, claiming, “This is not me being hyperbolic…..Gaza is the biggest open air concentration camp in the world today and the condition of life in Gaza is not dissimilar to life in Auschwitz and Dachau.”

Thomas K. Hubbard was the James R. Dougherty Jr. Centennial Professor of Classics, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20190905194331/https://minio.la.utexas.edu/colaweb-prod/person_files/0/354/thomas_k_hubbard_curriculum_vitae.pdf">who taught at the University of Texas-Austin from 1988 t0 2021</a>. Hubbard’s body of research included ancient pederasty – adult male sexual relations with underage boys  – which Hubbard calls the “<a href="https://www.dallasnews.com/news/politics/2019/12/17/ut-students-protest-professors-house-over-his-writings-on-sexual-relations-between-men-and-boys/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">romantic courtship</a>” of teenage boys by older men.

Writing in the peer-reviewed Thymos Journal of Boyhood Studies, Hubbard detailed this position in an article titled, <a href="https://www.researchgate.net/publication/276216200_Sexual_Consent_and_the_Adolescent_Male_or_What_Can_We_Learn_from_the_Greeks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sexual Consent and the Adolescent Male, or What Can We Learn From the Greeks</a>. Hubbard <a href="https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/editorials/2019/12/18/a-ut-professor-advocates-pedophilia-why-are-we-paying-for-it/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claims</a> that there are great benefits to relationships between older men and teenage boys by appealing to the portrayal of these relationships in Greek artworks and myths.

Hubbard also <a href="https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/editorials/2019/12/18/a-ut-professor-advocates-pedophilia-why-are-we-paying-for-it/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">states</a> that sexual relationships between teenage boys and adult men can replace the lack of intimacy that a boy might experience if the young man has an absent father.

Hubbard utilizes his research on pederasty to buoy his advocacy for lowering the federal legal age for sexual consent. Hubbard also <a href="https://www.dallasnews.com/news/politics/2019/12/17/ut-students-protest-professors-house-over-his-writings-on-sexual-relations-between-men-and-boys/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">decries age-of-consent laws</a>, calling them a “sad by-product” of the Victorian era that prevented sexual liberation.

Hubbard made the distinction, in a <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20200216112913if_/https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wGGrODNSdwudrF1G4uerU2DsRxcSx3DR1Nbn6JOd7ho/edit" target="_blank" rel="noopener">now-deleted google document</a>, that he was speaking on behalf of pederasty and not pedophilia. He continues in the Doc by extolling several nations for having age-of-consent laws that were lower than the United States.

Hubbard’s work has been distributed and used by <a href="https://www.dallasnews.com/news/politics/2019/12/17/ut-students-protest-professors-house-over-his-writings-on-sexual-relations-between-men-and-boys/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">groups like the North American Man/Boy Love Association</a> (NAMBLA), which advocates for the abolishment of age-of-consent laws between children and adults.

The University of Texas-Austin’s administration reaffirmed Hibbard’s right to <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/students-want-thomas-hubbard-fired-for-work-on-pederasty-but-university-of-texas-says-its-protected-speech" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“explore controversial and offensive ideas</a>.” As of December 2020, <a href="https://www.statesman.com/story/news/education/2020/07/23/ut-professor-accused-of-promoting-pedophilia-sues-student-for-libel/42515639/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hubbard is suing a student and 10 others for libel</a> after they distributed flyers labeling him a pedophile.
UPDATE 
A university spokeswoman has informed the Professor Watchlist team that Thomas Hubbard is no longer employed at the University of Texas. As stated in their response, Dr. Hubbard announced his retirement in July of 2021 and is no longer associated with the University in any capacity.

Despite their written statement, <a href="https://cola.utexas.edu/european_studies/people/faculty/thubbard">Dr. Hubbard was still listed on the university website</a> as a professor in the Center for European Studies at the time of the university's letter

In a follow-up conversation with the university spokeswomen, Dr. Hubbard's profile was removed from the European Studies page and he is no longer listed as a faculty member with the University as of December 15th, 2021.

John O. Brennan is a <a href="https://intelligencestudies.utexas.edu/about/leadership" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Distinguished Scholar</a> and <a href="https://www.strausscenter.org/person/john-o-brennan/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Senior Advisor to the Intelligence Studies Project</a> at the <a href="https://www.utexas.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">University of Texas-Austin</a>. Brennan also serves as a <a href="https://www.centeronnationalsecurity.org/fellows#john-o-brennan" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Distinguished Fellow for Global Security</a> for the Center on National Security at <a href="https://www.fordham.edu/site/index.php" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fordham University</a>.

Prior to both roles, Brennan served as the <a href="https://www.britannica.com/biography/John-Brennan" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Director of The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) </a>from 2013 to 2017. His service and post-CIA career have been marred with controversies, including allegations of spying on political opponents, overseas clandestine operations, and incendiary comments towards conservatives and libertarians.

In 2014, the CIA was <a href="https://www.npr.org/sections/itsallpolitics/2014/03/11/289085076/feinsteins-cia-outrage-splits-senate" target="_blank" rel="noopener">accused by California Senator Dianne Feinstein of illegally accessing the computers of Senate staffers</a> investigating the use of “enhanced interrogation” against detainees. <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2014/03/brennan-denies-claims-cia-hacked-senate-computers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brennan initially denied the allegations</a>, stating that, “Nothing could be further from the truth.” Brennan was later forced to apologize when an Inspector General report found that <a href="https://thehill.com/policy/technology/213933-cia-admits-to-wrongly-hacking-into-senate-computers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Senate computers were in fact “hacked” by CIA officials</a>.

Brennan has been accused of arming radical Islamists during the Syrian Civil War. As The American Conservative documents, <a href="https://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/how-america-armed-terrorists-in-syria/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The CIA—under Brennan's direction—played a significant role in supplying deadly weapons to al-Qaeda affiliates</a> in an attempt to topple the Syrian dictator Bashar Al-Assad.

In his final years as CIA director, Brennan played a prominent role in what later became known as “Russiagate.” During the 2016 general election, intelligence agencies attempted to determine whether or not then-presidential candidate Donald Trump coordinated with the Russian Government to <a href="https://thehill.com/policy/cybersecurity/288883-wikileaks-posts-20000-dnc-emails" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hack and release sensitive emails from the Democratic National Committee</a>. Special Counsel Robert Mueller later found that there was <a href="https://www.dw.com/en/mueller-report-found-no-evidence-of-trump-russia-collusion-justice-dept/a-48046468" target="_blank" rel="noopener">no evidence of any coordination between the Trump Campaign and the Russian Government</a>.

While investigating Trump, John Brennan relied on allegations in what became known as the “Steele Dossier”— <a href="https://www.npr.org/2017/08/23/545289362/researcher-behind-unverified-trump-dossier-meets-senate-investigators" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a series of salacious allegations and potentially compromising information against Donald Trump</a> — compiled by British Intelligence agent Christopher Steele. The <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/09/steeles-dossier-source-was-a-suspected-russian-spy/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">source for the dossier was later found to be a suspected Russian Spy,</a> who likely <a href="https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/453384-fbis-spreadsheet-puts-a-stake-through-the-heart-of-steeles-dossier" target="_blank" rel="noopener">exaggerated or falsified his information</a>.

Despite <a href="https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/442944-fbis-steele-story-falls-apart-false-intel-and-media-contacts-were-flagged" target="_blank" rel="noopener">agents flagging the information as false</a>, the Steele Dossier was later used as the basis to <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2019/12/09/ig-report-confirms-no-fisa-warrant-on-carter-page-without-steele-dossier/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">obtain warrants to surveil members of the Trump campaign</a>. Initially pushing to include the information, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2019/12/09/brennan-lied-about-not-including-steele-dossier-in-intelligence-community-assessment-on-2016-russian-election-interference/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brennan later lied under congressional oath, stating he did not include the Steele Dossier in intelligence briefings</a>.

Declassified, handwritten notes from Brennan further show that he assisted in <a href="https://news.yahoo.com/dni-releases-cia-documents-hillary-204337457.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">efforts to tie the Trump campaign to Russia</a> to benefit the Hillary Clinton campaign. This is consistent with testimony accusing <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2020/05/12/fox-news-john-brennan-russia-hillary-clinton/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brennan of suppressing intelligence that the Russian Government wanted Hillary Clinton to win</a> the 2016 presidential election.

Brennan continued to publically attack President Trump after the 2016 election, accusing <a href="https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2018/08/19/brennan_on_sunday_i_stand_by_accusing_president_trump_of_treason.html#!" target="_blank" rel="noopener">him of “treason” against the United States on behalf of Russia</a>. Brennan <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2017/05/25/ex-cia-director-john-brennan-ive-seen-no-evidence-collusion-russia/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">admits that he has seen no evidence that Donald Trump colluded</a> with the Russian government to win the 2016 election.

Following the Capital Hill riots, John Brennan <a href="https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1352007118392582148?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1352007118392582148%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwearechange.org%2Feven-libertarians-john-brennan-issues-list-of-ideologies-biden-intel-community-should-go-after%2F" target="_blank" rel="noopener">has described libertarians as terrorists and white supremacists</a>.

In an interview with MSNBC, Brennan <a href="https://www.msnbc.com/deadline-white-house/watch/fmr-cia-dir-brennan-republicans-will-continue-to-gaslight-the-country-101798469719" target="_blank" rel="noopener">remarks</a> that many conservatives make him “embarrassed to be a white man.”

Brennan has admitted in the past that he voted for the Communist Party in past elections. According to CNN, Brennan <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2016/09/15/politics/john-brennan-cia-communist-vote/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">recounts</a> that he admitted to voting for the Communist Party Candidate, Gus Hall, in the 1976 general election. Brennan is reported <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2016/09/15/politics/john-brennan-cia-communist-vote/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stating</a> that voting for Hall was his way of “signaling his unhappiness of the system.”

As The Spectator <a href="https://spectator.org/john-brennans-president-remembering-comrade-gus-hall/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">documents</a>, Gus Hall was a four-time presidential candidate and leader of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). Throughout his career, Hall defended atrocities committed by the Soviet Union while secretly receiving tens of millions of dollars from the Kremlin.

Dr. Kevin Cokley is the <a href="https://education.utexas.edu/faculty/kevin_cokley" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Department Chair of the Department of Educational Psychology</a> as well as a Professor of African American Diaspora Studies and Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Texas - Austin. He is a Distinguished Teaching Professor and is published in many outlets, including Journal of Black Psychology, The Huffington Post, and The Hill. Dr. Cokley has taught many courses, some of which are Psychology of African American Experience and Multicultural Counseling.

Dr. Cokley is very openly pro-critical race theory. <a href="https://www.courierpress.com/story/opinion/2021/07/15/viewpoint-teaching-critical-race-theory-patriotic-not-anti-american/7982099002/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">In an opinion piece for Courier &amp; Press</a>, Dr. Cokley claims that critical race theory is actually patriotic. He accuses conservatives of pushing a false narrative about critical race theory by claiming it’s “divisive, hostile, and anti-American… and teaches kids to hate each other” which is a “politicized misrepresentation.”

Later in the article, Dr. Cokley makes the claim that the first line of the U.S. Constitution, “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union…” suggests that even our founders believed America is a work-in progress. According to him, critical race theory reminds us that this is still very true.

Dr. Cokley <a href="https://redstate.com/alexparker/2021/07/09/usa-today-runs-pro-critical-race-theory-piece-professor-says-crts-not-divisive-or-anti-american-n408847" target="_blank" rel="noopener">defines critical race theory</a> as an idea “which posits that racism is not simply acts of individual bias or prejudice, but rather is embedded in institutions, policies and legal systems.” While he states he has never explicitly taught critical race theory, he does teach ideas consistent with critical race theory by providing students with examples of how Black inferiority and racism are deeply woven into modern school practices. He asserts that conservatives who are against critical race theory are wanting to prevent any type of discussion around racism or putting America in a negative light. Dr. Cokley argues that there is nothing anti-American about acknowledging the fact that racism is woven into the fabric of the United States.

In June of 2021, Dr. Cokley appeared on a <a href="https://www.fox7austin.com/video/690219" target="_blank" rel="noopener">segment for Fox 7 News Austin</a> discussing racial injustices. The video shows violent riots after the death of George Floyd while Dr. Cokley justifies this behavior because of racial injustice in America. Nikole Hannah-Jones is the inaugural Knight Chair of Race and Reporting at Howard University in Washington D.C.
Hannah-Jones is best known as one of the primary authors of The 1619 Project. <a href="https://archive.org/details/1619project/full_issue_of_the_1619_project">Published in July of 2019 by The New York Times Magazine</a>, The 1619 Project is a series of reports and essays that purport to document the origins of and lingering effects of racism in America. The stated intent for the project is to establish 1619–the first year that slaves were brought to the British Colonies in America–as the true founding of the United States, rather than 1776. The project’s central thesis alleges that slavery and racism are the basis out of which the United States was created.<a href="https://pulitzercenter.org/blog/nikole-hannah-jones-wins-pulitzer-prize-1619-project"> Hannah-Jones was awarded The Pulitzer Prize</a> for her work on the project. Since its publication, The 1619 Project and its authors have faced a myriad of problems, including accusations of controversial hiring tactics, false claims, and shoddy research.
Hannah-Jones elicited controversy for the publication and retraction of false information in her articles and unearthed racially incendiary remarks.

Bret Stephens, a columnist for The New York Times and colleague of Hannah-Jones,<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20201105003122/https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/09/opinion/nyt-1619-project-criticisms.html"> rebuffed the 1619 Project,</a> writing in October 2020 that “Journalists are, most often, in the business of writing the first rough draft of history, not trying to have the last word on it. We are best when we try to tell truths with a lowercase t, following evidence in directions unseen, not the capital-T truth of a pre-established narrative in which inconvenient facts get discarded.”
By late 2020, both Hannah-Jones’ claims and The 1619 Project as a whole began receiving scrutiny–<a href="https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/01/inclusive-case-1776-not-1619/604435/">from both the Left and Right</a>–on a near-daily occurrence. Hannah-Jones then falsely <a href="https://reason.com/2020/09/23/1619-project-nikole-hannah-jones-1776-founding-race-new-york-times/">stated that The 1619 Project never claimed that 1619 was America’s true founding</a>, despite the fact that the allegation was printed on the front pages of the issue and was repeated numerous times in televised and print interviews.

Joy Reid–host of The Reid Out on MSNBC– is a Hearst Visiting Professor at Howard University in Washington DC. Reid is known to launch into partisan diatribes during broadcasts and regularly uses her platform to berate conservatives.

During the riots in the summer of 2020 following the death of George Floyd, Reid has claimed there is “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzPloMpG2EM&amp;ab_channel=MSNBC">zero evidence</a>” that any of the destruction was connected to the movement. She has claimed that when there was any violence, it was inflicted by “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzPloMpG2EM&amp;ab_channel=MSNBC">white supremacists</a>” and Trump supporters.

It is reported that there was a <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/">significant presence</a> by BLM activists at over 95% of the riots during the summer of 2020, resulting in at least 47 deaths and over <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion.">2 billion</a> in damages.

Reid has <a href="https://news.yahoo.com/msnbc-joy-reid-labels-justice-150310965.html">referred to Justice Clarence Thomas as “Uncle Clarence,”</a> a reference to the racial epithet “Uncle Tom” when discussing his court rulings.

Following the <a href="https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/james-hodgkinson-shooting-republicans-baseball-game">2017 congressional baseball shooting</a>, Reid and her guest <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGQEdDySUVI&amp;ab_channel=MSNBC">mocked the victims for holding insufficiently liberal positions</a>. She accused Louisiana Congressman Steve Scalise of racism while he was fighting for his life after the attack.

In 2018, blog posts were unearthed from Reid’s old website that contained inflammatory language, bigoted statements, and<a href="https://nypost.com/2018/05/31/joy-reid-reportedly-once-touted-notorious-9-11-conspiracy-film/"> links to conspiracies that accused the United States government of plotting the 9/11 terror attacks</a>. <a href="https://nypost.com/2018/04/24/msnbc-stars-lame-excuse-after-homophobic-remarks-surface/?_ga=2.40761378.1834013034.1527547273-216432594.1517259352">Reid alleged that many members of Congress were secretly gay</a>, and <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/msnbc-host-joy-reid-criticized-jews-ariel-sharon-in-old-blog-posts/">openly mocked Jews</a>.

Once the blog was unearthed and began receiving media attention, Reid initially acknowledged that she had written the posts and apologized for her “bigoted remarks.” However, once additional posts surfaced, Reid reversed her position and claimed that she had never written the blog posts to begin with. Reid claimed on national television that <a href="https://www.msnbc.com/am-joy/watch/watch-msnbc-s-joy-reid-address-offensive-blog-posts-1221485635964">she “genuinely does not believe that“ she wrote the posts</a> and alleged that her blog was hacked. After her statement, cyber-security experts confirmed that there <a href="https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2018/04/the-evidence-is-not-with-joy-reid/558935/">was little evidence of Reid’s blog ever being breached</a>.

Reid<a href="https://newsroom.howard.edu/newsroom/article/13601/award-winning-msnbc-news-anchor-joy-reid-joins-howard-university-2021-hearst"> currently teaches a journalism class titled “Covering Race, Gender, and Politics in the Digital Age”</a>. Reid plans to teach journalism students how to navigate “partisanship and political division.”

<a href="https://polisci.columbia.edu/content/jeffrey-r-lax">Jeffery Lax</a> is a professor of Political Science at Columbia University. He also serves as Deputy Chair of Columbia&#8217;s Political Science Department.
<a href="https://campusreform.org/?id=14870">In an online dispute</a> over the President of the United States, Lax publicly accosted a Columbia student online. After accusing the President of murdering Americans, Lax then attacked Gabriel Montalvo, a conservative, referring to him as “stupid” and “evil,” in posts provided by Montalvo on his <a href="https://twitter.com/Baron_Montalvo/status/1247164493748146178">twitter account</a>.
Further on, he referred to Montalvo, who is Hispanic, as a “neo-nazi” after telling him to “drop dead”. Lax called Montalvo a neo-Nazi multiple times in the exchange and even insinuated that he brandishes a swastika.

<a href="https://journalism.columbia.edu/faculty/dale-maharidge">Dale Maharidge</a> is a Journalism Professor at Columbia University who ironically does not take well to criticism. After finding out he was under investigation on Project Veritas' "To Catch A Journalist" he reacted with a series of explicit and sophomoric rants on social media.

<a href="http://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty/adjunct/kathy-boudin/">Dr. Kathy Boudin</a> teaches social work classes at Columbia University, despite having a lengthy criminal record. Boudin, a convicted murderer and a member of Bill Ayers' domestic terrorism group the Weather Underground, had no problem finding a job teaching at Columbia. According to The Daily Beast "In 1984, Boudin, a member of the Weather Underground, a violent, oafish association of upper-class “revolutionaries,” pled guilty to second-degree murder in association with the infamous 1981 Brinks armored car robbery in Nyack, New York. Babbling in the language of anti-racism and anti-imperialism, Boudin assisted in ending the life of three people, including Waverly Brown, the first black police officer on the Nyack police force, and left nine children fatherless. She was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison. In 2003, Boudin was released; by 2008 she had landed a coveted teaching position at an Ivy League university."

<a href="http://www.law.columbia.edu/faculty/kayum-ahmed">Professor Kayum Ahmed</a>, Columbia University Law School, filed a “discrimination and harassment complaint” against the College Republicans after they invited Tommy Robinson to speak on campus, arguing that the invitation itself was an “act of violence” against him.

<a href="https://www.northeastern.edu/law/faculty/directory/williams-p.html">Patricia Williams </a>is a Professor of Law and Humanities at Northeastern University. Williams, in an editorial for The Nation, wrote " the history of the right to bear arms is shaped by exclusionary privilege based on race and gender. It is almost exclusively white men who may “reasonably” carry firearms to protests outside Target or political conventions", although still 20% of Hispanic and African-American homes own guns according to Pew research.

<a href="https://history.columbia.edu/faculty/khalidi-rashid/">Dr. Rashid Khalidi</a>, a Professor of Modern Arab Studies at Columbia University, laced criticism of Trump's foreign policy with Anti-Semitism. Discussing Trump's position on Israel, Khalidi said "They have a vision whereby there is no such thing as the Palestinians. They have a vision whereby international law doesn’t exist. They have a vision whereby the United States can unilaterally cancel a decision of the United Nations. And unfortunately, these people infest the Trump transition team, these people are going to infest our government as of January 20th. And they are hand in glove with a similar group of people in the Israeli government and in Israeli political life who think that whatever they think can be imposed on reality."

<a href="https://palestine.mei.columbia.edu/people/hamid-dabashi">Hamid Dabashi</a> is the Hagop Kevorkian Professor of Iranian Studies and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. 

As a board member of the U.S. Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, Dabashi is ferociously <a href="https://canarymission.org/professor/Hamid_Dabashi">anti-Israel</a>, going so far as <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2005/01/18/education/mideast-tensions-are-getting-personal-on-campus-at-columbia.html">cancelling classes</a> so that his students can attend anti-Israel rallies.

When Iranian dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke at Columbia, Dabashi was one of his most vocal defenders against fellow professors. <a href="https://www.nysun.com/new-york/columbia-professor-calls-bollinger-white/">Writing</a> for an Egyptian newspaper, Dabashi accused Ahmadinejad’s critics of racism, claiming “the most ridiculous clichés of the neocon propaganda machinery, wrapped in the missionary position of a white racist supremacist carrying the heavy burden of civilizing the world.”

In 2018, Dabashi received criticism for a now-deleted <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=10484">Facebook post</a> in which he accused the Women’s March of being “deeply infiltrated” by “Zionists”, who want to hijack the organization to benefit Israel.

“The Woman’s (sic) March has now emerged as a major movement in the US and of course the Zionists have deeply infiltrated it the way they infiltrated the Civil rights Movement of the 1960s and sought to twist it to the advantage of Israel,”

<a href="https://polisci.columbia.edu/content/jeffrey-r-lax">Jeffery Lax</a> is a professor of Political Science at Columbia University. He also serves as Deputy Chair of Columbia's Political Science Department.

<a href="https://campusreform.org/?id=14870">In an online dispute</a> over the President of the United States, Lax publicly accosted a Columbia student online. After accusing the President of murdering Americans, Lax then attacked Gabriel Montalvo, a conservative, referring to him as “stupid” and “evil,” in posts provided by Montalvo on his <a href="https://twitter.com/Baron_Montalvo/status/1247164493748146178">twitter account</a>.

Further on, he referred to Montalvo, who is Hispanic, as a “neo-nazi” after telling him to “drop dead”. Lax called Montalvo a neo-Nazi multiple times in the exchange and even insinuated that he brandishes a swastika.

<a href="https://directory.columbia.edu/people/uni?code=jbc2167">James Comey</a>–the former FBI director best known for directing the Russia investigation against President Trump– is now a lecturer at Columbia University <a href="https://nypost.com/2020/12/02/ex-fbi-director-james-comey-to-teach-at-columbia-law-school/">for the Spring 2021 semester</a>. Comey’s course is titled “Lawyers and Leaders.”  The <a href="https://reuben-mark.law.columbia.edu/content/reuben-mark-initiative-announces-spring-2021-leaders-residence">university’s website</a> writes that Comey’s experiences as a federal prosecutor and FBI director “represents a broadening of the Mark Initiative’s focus to include leadership of major public institutions, complementing existing offerings relating to corporations and law firms.”

In 2016 under Comey’s leadership, the FBI opened an investigation to determine whether the Trump campaign had colluded with the Russian government to defeat his opposing  Presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. It is important to note that Special Counsel Robert Muller <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/no-collusion-attorney-general-william-barr-emily-zanotti">later determined that there was no evidence against President Trump.</a>

Much of the underlying information that formed the basis of the investigation was provided by a former-British spy, Christopher Steele– known as the “Steele Dossier.” <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/09/steeles-dossier-source-was-a-suspected-russian-spy/">Steele relied on a series of rumors from a sole source that was later determined to be a suspected Russian spy</a>. Members of Comey’s own <a href="https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/442944-fbis-steele-story-falls-apart-false-intel-and-media-contacts-were-flagged">FBI flagged the allegations in the dossier as false and were</a> ignored. This information was eventually used to obtain surveillance warrants for individuals involved with the Trump campaign. Despite being fired by the FBI for misconduct, <a href="https://thehill.com/hilltv/rising/400810-opinion-how-a-senior-justice-official-helped-dems-on-trump-russia-case">Steele was still used as a source–with Bruce Ohr serving as his conduit to ferry information to the Bureau</a>.

Once Trump assumed office, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/05/11/why-did-obama-tell-the-fbi-to-hide-its-activities-from-the-trump-administration/">Comey withheld evidence from the Trump Administration</a> about his investigation. The FBI had briefed President Trump’s campaign regarding Russian interference into the election, but failed to disclose that members of the campaign were the subject of the investigation itself.

Comey played a pivotal role in the perjury trap that resulted in the firing and prosecution of General Michael Flynn. Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates testified that <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/08/05/sally-yates-comey-went-rogue-in-launching-perjury-trap-on-flynn/">Comey “went rogue” in his pursuit to prosecute Flynn</a>. Sources claim that the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fbi-official-on-mueller-team-says-flynn-prosecution-was-used-to-get-trump-says-collusion-probe-was-not-there">FBI zealously pursued the investigation of Flynn in order to get him to flip and inform on any potential crimes committed by Trump.</a>

An Inspector General’s Report later <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/04/02/latest-inspector-general-report-slams-comeys-fbi-for-massive-failures-to-document-fisa-claims/">excoriated Comey for the abuses that were committed under his leadership</a>. When questioned in a congressional hearing, Comey claimed that he<a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/30/comey-its-not-my-job-to-make-sure-fisa-applications-are-accurate/"> bore no responsibility to ensure whether or not the information in the warrants were accurate</a> and could <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/10/01/supercut-james-comey-doesnt-recall-anything-about-anything/">remember little else about the investigation that he oversaw</a>.

Comey was also cited by the Department of Justice for <a href="https://www.reuters.com/article/us-trump-russia-comey/doj-declines-to-prosecute-comey-despite-finding-that-he-leaked-info-idUSKCN1VJ1UO">improperly leaking sensitive information to the press</a>. When Columbia announced that he had taken a position at their Law School, it was revealed that he would teach alongside the professor to whom <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/comey-columbia-law-school-professor-leaked-trump">Comey leaked his private conversations with President Trump</a>.

<a href="https://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty-research/faculty/adjunct/anthony-zenkus/">Anthony Zenkus</a> is an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Social Work at Columbia University and has also taught at Adelphi University in the Graduate School of Social Work. His Columbia University bio <a href="https://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty-research/faculty/adjunct/anthony-zenkus/">describes</a> Zenkus as an “activist” on issues of racial justice and income inequality and that he was trained by former Vice President Al Gore as a presenter in the Climate Reality Project.

In addition, the biography <a href="https://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty-research/faculty/adjunct/anthony-zenkus/">describes</a> Zenkus as an organizer with the <a href="http://occupywallst.org/about/">Occupy Wall Street</a> movement and that Zenkus advocates for raising the national minimum wage to $15 an hour.  Zenkus’s Columbia biography also <a href="https://socialwork.columbia.edu/faculty-research/faculty/adjunct/anthony-zenkus/">states</a> that in addition to his work as an adjunct lecturer, his work involves the training of professionals on trauma, child abuse, and family violence.

Campus Reform <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=10395">reports</a> that, in an exchange on Twitter, Zenkus <a href="https://twitter.com/anthonyzenkus/status/952967568851111937">states</a> that slavery, genocide, and World Wars I and II are the result of capitalism.

Zenkus replies to a now-deleted tweet from another user that stated, "The hammer and sickle is a symbol of genocide. What are you gonna admire next, the swastika?”  In his retort, Zenkus claims that America has committed “centuries” of slavery and genocide.

Zenkus maintains that capitalist societies are physically harmful to children that grow up in poverty. In a talk called, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK1DVinPg98&amp;ab_channel=TEDxTalks">“Watch the Gap: How Capitalism Negatively Affects Development</a>,” given at a TEDx event, Zenkus claims that capitalism is the cause of massive inequality and widespread poverty in the country.

At the same event, Zenkus <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK1DVinPg98&amp;ab_channel=TEDxTalks">attributes</a> everything from racism and brain damage in children to the inequality that he alleges is inherent in our society. In order to alleviate poverty, Zenkus calls for a “transformational distribution of wealth.”

Dr. Thomas alleges that conservatives and others are “over-the-top attacking” critical race theory despite having no idea what CRT actually is. He asserts that conservatives want to shut down critical race theory so they won’t “lose the national debate… about institutional racism.”

Dr. Thomas states that critical race theory is a body of writing and method of research about the meaning of race both today and historically.

<a href="https://gca.columbia.edu/people/flores-forbes" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mr. Flores Forbes</a> is an Associate Vice President for Community Affairs at Columbia University. Mr. Flores is a convicted murderer who served as Huey Newton’s enforcer in the Black Panther Party.

The organization was<a href="https://www.history.com/topics/civil-rights-movement/black-panthers" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> formed by black nationalists, Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seale, in 1966 as the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense.</a> The group’s early activities included monitoring police and social programs for urban communities.

<a href="http://web.stanford.edu/~ccarson/articles/am_left.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The party was explicitly organized along</a> Marxist-Leninist lines. Members were <a href="https://archives.frontpagemag.com/fpm/reflections-panthers-john-perazzo/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">required to read communist texts such as Mao Zedong’s, Red Book and Che Guevara</a>. Bobby Seale was known to <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/whitewashing-the-black-panthers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fondly quote Soviet Dictator, Joseph Stalin</a>.

Despite their alleged philanthropy, the Panthers used their community programs–dubbed survival programs—as a front for criminal activity. David Horowitz—who worked for the Panthers at the time—observed the Panthers' <a href="https://archives.frontpagemag.com/fpm/pbs-propaganda-machine-black-panther-killers-frontpagemagcom/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">embezzling and illegal trafficking operations based out of the Oakland Community Center.</a>

The Panthers were feared for their mob-like enforcement and brutality. Members were <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/whitewashing-the-black-panthers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">known to pour boiling water over suspected </a>police informants and fire-bomb the cars of journalists. Co-founder, Huey Newton, was convicted—which was later overturned by an appellate court—and spent time in prison for the murder of police officer, John Frey. He is further <a href="https://www.salon.com/1999/12/13/betty/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">suspected to have taken part in multiple murders</a> committed by the Panthers.

Known as Newton’s “internal enforcer”, Mr. Forbes carried out at least one execution on behalf of his boss. <a href="https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2020/12/radical-son-frontpagemagcom/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Flores was ordered to perform a hit against Crystal Gray</a>, who had witnessed Newton murder a prostitute—Kathleen Smith—and was set to testify in his trial.

However, Mr. Forbes and the other assassins mistakenly arrived at the address of a fellow Panther, who returned fire and injured Mr. Forbes before he was killed. Following a nationwide manhunt, Mr. Forbes turned himself in, where he was convicted and spent 5 years in prison for second-degree murder.

Mr. Forbes is also suspected in the murder of Betty Van Patter. As a book-maker for the Panthers, Patter <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20160110093526/http://www.insidebayarea.com/ci_5016589" target="_blank" rel="noopener">was a first-hand witness to the organization’s criminal activity and threatened to expose the Panthers to the press</a>. After missing for five weeks, her body was recovered in the San Francisco Bay.

Although Mr. Forbes is believed by Patter’s daughter and the <a href="https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2020/12/radical-son-frontpagemagcom/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FBI to be responsible for her killing</a>, no arrests were made. Furthermore, the <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20180330211353/http://fbidocs.com/betty-van-patter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FBI destroyed all files relating to Patter in 2009</a>, so the apparent murder will remain unsolved. The Black Panther party dissolved in 1984 and Huey Newton was murdered in 1989. Mr. Forbes went on to author a book about his time in the Panthers—titled, <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Will-You-Die-Me-Panther/dp/0743482689" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Will You Die with Me?</a>— and <a href="https://news.columbia.edu/news/cu-people-flores-forbes-urban-planner" target="_blank" rel="noopener">has worked at Columbia since 2007</a>.

<a href="https://www.tc.columbia.edu/faculty/kf2119/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Karen Froud</a> is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience and Education at the Teachers College of Columbia University in New York City.

In a letter to colleagues, Dr. Froud urged them to boycott Israel and its universities, accusing both of contributing to apartheid-like conditions in the Palestinian territories.

Her remarks were spurred by the comments of another colleague, Gerry Leisman, who asked fellow scientists to continue their reviews for his research. Dr. Talisman is a neuroscientist at the University of Haifa in Israel.

Dr. Markowitz is also an active member of the Communist Party USA since 1978.  He writes and teaches about communism using his “Marxist Perspective.” As a supporter of Obama, Markowitz said that it would be good if Obama’s policies were labeled socialist because it would bring socialism to the forefront and looked at more seriously as a viable option for Americans. He has been a longtime defender of the Communist spies Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, and has said he has “enormous respect” for Howard Zinn, a Marxist historian.

<a href="https://sociology.rutgers.edu/faculty/affliliated-graduate-faculty/541-kumar-deepa">Dr. Deepa Kumar</a> is a Professor of Media Studies as well as Middle Eastern Studies at Rutgers University. She argued on Twitter that the U.S. military is worse than ISIS. Kumar wrote on Twitter, "Yes ISIS is brutal, but US is more so, 1.3 million killed in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan."

<a href="http://womens-studies.rutgers.edu/faculty/core-faculty/143-jasbir-puar">Dr. Jasbir Puar</a>, a professor at Rutgers University, was invited to speak at Vassar. Her lecture was titled “Inhumanist Biopolitics: How Palestine Matters.” In her lecture, she accuses Israel of “stunting” growth of Palestinian bodies through scientific experiment as well as harvesting their organs.

<a href="http://www.kevin-allred.com/">Kevin Allred</a> was an adjunct instructor at Rutgers University. He underwent a psych evaluation after a series of questionable and possibly threatening tweets relating to Trump and the Second Amendment. He also went to Twitter after the election to complain that Rutgers had not publicly ensured the safety of students after Trump won. He also teaches a class called "Politicizing Beyonce". He was <a href="https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2016/11/21/rutgers-places-adjunct-leave-tweets-he-says-were-based-rhetoric-president-elect">placed</a> on administrative leave as of 2016

<a href="https://rcws10.rutgers.edu/faculty/Chikindas/">Professor Michael Chikindas</a>, Rutgers University, posted frequent anti-Semitic comments, at one point referring to Jewish people as “international fat Jewish pockets.” “These jewish [sic] motherf*****s do not control me. They can go f**k each other in their fat a***s - you see, I really do not have anything to loose [sic], hence nothing to be controlled,” he wrote in response to an article titled “The Globalists: Who Control Us!”.

<a href="http://www.polisci.rutgers.edu/cb-profile/userprofile/whfield">Dr. William Field</a>, a professor at Rutgers University, sent out an email to all political science majors and minors to protest against Condoleeza Rice serving as their commencement speaker. He was also said to have congratulated one of the lead organizers of the protest who had damaged university property.

<a href="https://law.rutgers.edu/directory/view/mbk69" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Margo Kaplan</a> is a Professor of Law at <a href="https://law.rutgers.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rutgers University Law School</a> in Camden, New Jersey. According to her university biography, she teaches courses on “Criminal Law, Health Law and Policy, and Sex Crimes” and explores the “legal limitations on intimate decisions.”

Dr. Kaplan has spent her academic career attempting to normalize pedophilia. In a paper for the <a href="https://scholarlycommons.law.wlu.edu/wlulr/vol72/iss1/4/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Washington and Lee Law Review</a>, she advocates for the reclassification of pedophilia as a mental disorder so that pedophiles may be awarded more civil rights:

“...we should not categorically deny pedophilia the civil rights protections afforded to other mental disorders without a convincing normative justification supported by cogent scientific evidence. Strengthening civil rights protections for those with pedophilia also increases access to treatment and support that helps prevent child abuse.”

In a similar piece for the <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/06/opinion/pedophilia-a-disorder-not-a-crime.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York</a><a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/06/opinion/pedophilia-a-disorder-not-a-crime.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Times</a>—titled, "Pedophilia: A Disorder, Not a Crime,"—Dr. Kaplan attempts a sickening effort to lure readers into sympathizing with pedophiles by characterizing pedophiles as adolescents with harmless, childhood crushes.

“THINK back to your first childhood crush. Maybe it was a classmate or a friend next door. Most likely, through school and into adulthood, your affections continued to focus on others in your approximate age group. But imagine if they did not. By some estimates, 1 percent of the male population continues, long after puberty, to find themselves attracted to prepubescent children. These people are living with pedophilia, a sexual attraction to prepubescents that often constitutes a mental illness. Unfortunately, our laws are failing them and, consequently, ignoring opportunities to prevent child abuse.”

Her intellectual sleight of hand is prevalent in both pieces. Kaplan blames the abuse of children partially on what she views as the severity in which society treats pedophilia, resulting in pedophiles abstaining from seeking treatment.

When later interviewed by <a href="https://www.phillymag.com/news/2014/10/06/pedophilia-not-a-crime-rutgers-margo-kaplan/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Philadelphia Magazine</a>, Dr. Kapland claimed to be “shocked” at the amount of support she had received, accusing critics she did have of not even reading her article.

<a href="https://history.rutgers.edu/people/faculty/details/1143-bray-mark">Mark Bray</a> is a part-time lecturer in the Department of History at Rutgers University.

Bray first gained notoriety in 2017 when he <a href="https://www.mhpbooks.com/books/antifa/">authored</a> "The Anti-Fascist Handbook," and offered to <a href="https://campusreform.org/?id=14972">donate</a> half of the proceeds to ANTIFA.

Bray fully endorses ANTIFA’s embrace of violence as a tactic, and often describes it as “self-defense”. He has <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=9616">stated</a> that in order to “preemptively” shut down far-right events and gatherings,  “physical violence against white supremacists is both ethically justifiable and strategically effective.”

Soon after publication, he appeared on NBC to <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/antifa-violence-ethical-author-explains-why-n796106">defend</a> the use of force against opposing protestors. He claimed that as an illiberal organization, ANTIFA has and will continue to shut down the free speech of the far right.

Bray recently penned an op-ed in the <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2020/06/01/trump-antifa-terrorist-organization/">Washington Post</a> in the midst of mass-rioting following the death of George Floyd. After expressing sympathy with the looters, Bray claims that police officers are, in fact, deadlier than ANTIFA.  He wrote, “...and in the United States, ANTIFA have never killed anyone, unlike their enemies in Klan hoods and squad cars.” 

After his views were <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/red-alert-politics/dartmouth-president-disavows-professor-justified-antifa-violence-self-defense">condemned</a> by Dartmouth University - his employer at the time - Bray soon began lecturing at Rutgers, where his university biography describes him as a “historian of human rights, terrorism, and politics in Modern Europe.”

<a href="https://asianlanguages.rutgers.edu/menu-i/69-richard-vanness-simmons">Richard VanNess Simmons</a> is a professor of Chinese and East Asian Studies and serves as the <a href="https://www.ciru.rutgers.edu/about-us/people-2">Director of the Confucius Institute</a> at Rutgers University. The Confucius Institute is funded by the Chinese Communist Party and serves as a focal point for the dissemination of propaganda and foreign espionage on American campuses.

<a href="https://africanastudies.rutgers.edu/people/core-faculty/people-list/30-faculty/140-brittney-cooper">Brittney Cooper</a> is an associate professor of Africana and Women’s and Gender Studies at Rutgers University. Much of her research and writing centers around the intersections of race, feminism, and gender. Cooper’s work has led her to develop a number of bizarre opinions:

 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Linear time is a product of a Euro-centric world, or in short,<a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/rutgers-professor-even-the-concept-of-time-is-racist/"> our concept of time is racist.</a></li>

Cooper has attributed most of the deaths from the pandemic to racism and conservatives, stating that, “I feel like most Black people are clear that this utterly absurd push to re-open the country is all about a gross necropolitical calculation that it is Black people who are dying disproportionately from COVID,” and <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/rutgers-university-prof-reopening-the-country-is-about-killing-black-people/">blaming Trump supporters for the hundreds of thousands of deaths</a> due to the coronavirus.

Cooper has previously stated that a conservative’s beliefs are “rooted in racism.” In an appearance on MSNBC, <a href="https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/duncan-schroeder/2020/08/30/deranged-msnbc-pundit-goes-hateful-rant-against-trump-voters">Cooper stated that conservatives have a desire for power</a> at the expense of black and brown Americans.

Cooper has denigrated conservatives throughout her career along racial lines. <a href="https://www.c-span.org/video/?444245-2/eloquent-rage&amp;playEvent">During a speech in Baltimore</a>, she stated that as white men lose their power, they will continue to “terrorize” black men and women. In a previous thread, she stated that the black community is being eaten alive by “capitalism, patriarchy, and racism,” and white people won’t feel any negative consequences of these systems so long as they can continue to displace white people through systems like gentrification.

Ms. <a href="https://crimjust.rutgers.edu/people/faculty-directory/details/30-faculty/faculty/620-erakat-noura">Noura Erakat</a> is an Assistant Professor of Africana Studies at Rutgers University. According to her university profile, Professor Erakat specializes in fields that include international law, humanitarian law, human rights law, national security law, refugee law, and critical race theory. A harsh critic of the state of Israel, the professor has repeatedly demonized and called for the destruction of the only Jewish state in the world.

Professor Erakat’s work frequently characterizes Israel as a racist state that is equivalent to the apartheid-era South African government. In a November 2019 interview with DemocracyNow, she stated, ”<a href="https://www.democracynow.org/2019/11/19/noura_erakat_israeli_settlements_trump_announcement">we are witnessing the entrenchment of an apartheid regime</a>, and the U.S. [is] at the helm of that process.”

Professor Erakat repeats this false claim to justify her support of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. In a November 2020 video panel discussion with the Middle East Institute, Professor Erakat calls on the world <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S7ZkKMFUuU&amp;t=3956s">to resist and alienate Israel via adherence to a BDS platform</a>.

Professor Erakat likewise calls for Israel to be destroyed and replaced by an Arab-majority Palestinian state. As reported by The Spectator in July 2019, Ms. Erakat spoke at an event in Washington, DC, where she <a href="https://spectator.org/noura-erakat-recounts-her-anxiety-over-israels-existence/">advocated for Arabs to “help indigenize” Jews in Israel </a>in order to achieve a sole Palestinian state or a “one-state solution.”

Professor Erakat is far more brazen in calling for the outright destruction of Israel when speaking at anti-Israel protests around the country. During one march in May 2021—captured by News2Share—she called for the <a href="https://twitter.com/FordFischer/status/1393739882825195521/">liberation of Palestine, “from the river to the sea.</a>”

According to the Israeli newspaper Arutz Sheva, the chant, “from the river to the sea,” was <a href="https://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/291203">popularized by terrorist groups such as the Palestinian Liberation Organization</a> (PLO). The phrase alludes to the destruction of Israel—and thus the genocide of the nation’s Jews—between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/1948/08/02/archives/aim-to-oust-jews-pledged-by-sheikh-head-of-moslem-brotherhood-says.html">The chant is thought to originate from the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan el-Banna</a>, who was qouted by The New York Times stating, "If the Jewish state becomes a fact, and this is realized by the Arab peoples, they will drive the Jews who live in their midst into the sea."

Even though Professor Erakat can be heard calling for the “denuclearization of Israel” in the same speech, she had in 2013 <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I20HOx5zfv0&amp;ab_channel=JFhsfohhMN">condemned efforts to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program as “racist</a>.”

She further <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tv/CMzhsZtBfgg/?igshid=5p918cganhq1">defended this position</a> in a video uploaded to her Instagram in March of 2021, arguing there is no contradiction in opposing sanctions for Iran while supporting sanctions on Israel.

During a separate march in May of 2021,  Ms. Erakat can be heard chanting “By spirit and by blood, we redeem you, Palestine!” in front of the Israeli Embassy.

In April of 2020, Noura Erakat’s cousin, Mr. Ahmed Erakat, was killed after <a href="https://www.algemeiner.com/2020/06/29/palestinian-rams-a-checkpoint-death-lies-and-videotape/">ramming his car into an Israeli checkpoint during a failed terrorist attack</a>. Despite the publication of footage verifying the incident and a pipe bomb later being found in the van by investigators, Ms. Erakat continues to claim that he was murdered by Israeli forces.

Dr. James Livingston is <a href="https://history.rutgers.edu/faculty-directory/172-livingston-james" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a tenured Professor of History</a> at Rutgers University. His specialty is listed as Modern US: Intellectual and Economic History. He considers himself an “economic historian” and professionally writes many publications about politics, economics, and working in the United States.

In his personal time, Dr. Livingston often takes to Facebook to discuss similar topics, but in a less professional manner. <a href="https://pen.org/press-clip/white-professor-accused-of-antiwhite-racism/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">In a Facebook post from May 31, 2018</a>, Dr. Livingston denounces the white race and belligerently asserts he “hates white people.” Later in the post, he calls white Americans “little caucasian assholes who know their parents will approve of anything they do” and “little shitheads.”

When Facebook flagged the post and took it down, rather than apologize for his racist rant, he posted the following:

Shortly after his anti-white tirade, Rutgers launched an investigation into his posts. The university stated that they received several anonymous complaints about the posts, calling them to take action against the Professor. Dr. Livingston claimed he was making a statement about gentrification and told university officials that white supremacists were sending him threatening messages.

The investigation was headed by Carolyn Dellatore, the associate director of the Office of Employment Equity. <a href="https://www.thefire.org/rutgers-investigation-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Her investigation found that</a> “given Professor Livingston’s insistence on making disparaging racial comments, a reasonable student may have concerns that he or she would be stigmatized in his classes because of his or her race. As such, Professor Livingston’s comments have violated university policy.” He argued, however, that his posts were not racist because white people cannot be discriminated against. He also argued that the first amendment gave him the right to freedom of speech.

The university initially decided to sanction Dr. Livingston, but they <a href="https://www.northjersey.com/story/news/2018/11/15/no-punishment-rutgers-university-professor-over-white-people-comments-facebook/2016377002/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ultimately reversed their decision</a> in November 2018, clearing him of all charges. Dr. Livingston is still teaching at Rutgers University today.

<a href="https://comminfo.rutgers.edu/kumanyika-chenjerai">Dr. Chenjerai Kumanyika</a> is an Assistant Professor at Rutgers University. Dr. Kumanyika traveled to Ferguson, MO multiple times to protest the non-indictment of the white police officer who shot Michael Brown. He was also a signatory on a letter supporting the demands from the Coalition of Concerned Students who believe in prosecuting what they call “predatory behaviors and defamatory speech,” even from social media sources. The letter also calls for building a new multi-cultural center, more support for “underrepresented groups,” increasing the number of minority faculty members, and for Clemson employees to go through diversity training. Chenjerai also orchestrated a campaign against a student senate candidate and accused a candidate of racism for posing with a gun and American flag for his campaign poster.

Rentschler II Professor of Medicine, Health, and Society at <a href="https://www.vanderbilt.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vanderbilt University</a> in Nashville, Tennessee. He additionally serves as the Director of the University’s Department of Medicine, Health, and Society.
Dr. Metzl frequently writes about the intersection of race, class, and health with public policy. His main body of work is centered on his thesis that whites reject sound policy purely out of racial spite. He alleges that much of the dysfunction in conservative states is due to the adoption or rejection or policy based upon racial resentment.
His latest book—titled, “<a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/its-time-to-talk-about-being-white-in-america/2019/04/29/20aed83a-6a9b-11e9-be3a-33217240a539_story.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dying of Whiteness: How the Politics of Racial Resentment is Killing America’s Heartland</a>”— alleges that much of what animated conservatives from the Tea-Party was the election of a black President—Barack Obama—in a move he describes as a, “white backlash.” He further states this was codified with the election of Donald Trump &#8211; of whom Dr. Metzl <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/its-time-to-talk-about-being-white-in-america/2019/04/29/20aed83a-6a9b-11e9-be3a-33217240a539_story.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">describes as a skilled manipulator of “whiteness.”</a>
In an interview with the publication, VOX, Dr. Metzl alleges that <a href="https://www.vox.com/2019/3/19/18236247/dying-of-whiteness-trump-politics-jonathan-metzl" target="_blank" rel="noopener">white anxiety to minorities causes them to reject policies to the detriment of their own health</a>. He specifically cites opposition to Obamacare, alleging that this cost GOP voters literal weeks off their lifespan. When asked why white voters do not align with their economic counterparts in the minority community, Dr. Metzl responded that whites feel a “psychological benefit” and sense of prestige for obtaining whiteness, or privilege over minorities.
Another policy cited in the book <a href="https://www.vox.com/2019/3/19/18236247/dying-of-whiteness-trump-politics-jonathan-metzl" target="_blank" rel="noopener">is opposition to gun control or support of the second amendment.</a> Dr. Metzl alleges that there is a <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2013/05/08/us/study-gun-homicide/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">passage of gun control legislation and a decrease in crime</a> serve as a direct correlation between an easing of gun restrictions in conservative states and a sharp increase in gun deaths.
At the time of the book&#8217;s publication in 2019, <a href="https://www.heritage.org/crime-and-justice/commentary/here-are-8-stubborn-facts-gun-violence-america" target="_blank" rel="noopener">America was in the midst of a multi-decade reduction of gun violence</a>. Suicide by gun violence had been cut in half over the past 2 decades. University of Chicago economist John Lott&#8217;s landmark study of gun crime—titled, “More Guns, Less Crime,”—further demonstrated there is no link between the two.
Dr. Metzl had previously written about gun owenership’s connection to “whiteness.” In one op-ed for MSNBC, <a href="https://www.jonathanmetzl.com/when-shootings-happen-gender-has-to-be-part-of-the-conversation/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Metzl wrote there is a correlation between the “male gender, hegemonic whiteness, and gun violence</a>.” In the same paper, he alludes that males are responsible for mass shootings, stating that, “nearly every shooter over the past 30 years has been male.”
He further alleges that males feel “entitled” to relationships, financial success, social status, and other items as part of American culture. He believes that their failure to obtain these things leads to men lashing out and committing violent crimes. Dr. Metzl urges others to look at the link between gender and mass shootings, positing a link between “entitled masculinity” and gun-ownership.

His academic work centers on alleging active links between the far-right and conservatism over the past two centuries. Walsh <a href="https://gened.as.virginia.edu/egmt-1530-hateinnany-fascism-antifascism-and-global-far-right">teaches a course titled</a> Hateinnany: Fascism, Antifascism, and the Global Far Right.
In an attempt to tie far-right extremism to mainstream conservatism, Walsh has penned various articles attempting to connect mainstream conservatism with mass shootings. Writing for Arc Digital, he describes the <a href="https://www.elpasotimes.com/story/news/2019/08/05/el-paso-shooting-victim-list-names-identified-walmart-tx-texas/1918691001/">El Paso shooter’s</a> violent and bigoted ideology as <a href="https://arcdigital.media/the-el-paso-shooter-and-donald-trump-share-the-same-politics-so-why-doesnt-the-media-say-so-aff5062c26b1">identical to widely-held conservative stances</a>.

<a href="https://gened.as.virginia.edu/walsh">David Austin Walsh</a> is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Arts and Sciences at the University of Virginia. His academic work centers on alleging active links between the far-right and conservatism over the past two centuries. Walsh <a href="https://gened.as.virginia.edu/egmt-1530-hateinnany-fascism-antifascism-and-global-far-right">teaches a course titled</a> Hateinnany: Fascism, Antifascism, and the Global Far Right.

In an attempt to tie far-right extremism to mainstream conservatism, Walsh has penned various articles attempting to connect mainstream conservatism with mass shootings. Writing for Arc Digital, he describes the <a href="https://www.elpasotimes.com/story/news/2019/08/05/el-paso-shooting-victim-list-names-identified-walmart-tx-texas/1918691001/">El Paso shooter’s</a> violent and bigoted ideology as <a href="https://arcdigital.media/the-el-paso-shooter-and-donald-trump-share-the-same-politics-so-why-doesnt-the-media-say-so-aff5062c26b1">identical to widely-held conservative stances</a>.

<a href="http://ethics.harvard.edu/people/danielle-allen">Dr. Danielle Allen</a> is a Professor of Ethics at Harvard. She said that the rise of Donald Trump is just like the rise of Hitler.

<a href="http://hls.harvard.edu/faculty/directory/10906/Tushnet">Mark Tushnet</a>, a Law Professor at Harvard University, asked liberals to begin treating Christians and conservatives like Nazis. In a blog post, he claimed that Christians and conservatives have lost, and the primary question now is “How to deal with the losers.”

<a href="https://ghsm.hms.harvard.edu/faculty-staff/michelle-evelyn-morse">Michelle Evelyn Morse</a>, M.D. is a Instructor of Medicine and an Affiliate in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard University.  She is also co-founder of the <a href="http://www.socialmedicineconsortium.org/campaign-against-racism/">Campaign Against Racism</a>, which describes itself as an organization that seeks to “dismantle structural racism and its effects on health around the world.”

In an interview with <a href="https://www.pri.org/stories/2020-06-02/health-care-part-systems-oppression-says-harvard-medicine-professor">The World</a>, Morse outlined what she believes is structural oppression in the healthcare field. She explained how the Coronavirus is exposing divides caused by racism:

“And I think what we're seeing with the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on communities of color is that these are the fault lines that have existed for generations. And the sources are the very social arrangement that puts white people on top and black and brown people on the bottom.” 

 Morse has admitted that the long-term goal of her organization is to destroy capitalism, saying, “...the systems of racial capitalism and structural racism that we're trying to impact and upend and break down are going to take much, much longer” 

Morse is also very candid about utilizing the coronavirus pandemic to accomplish her organization’s ambitions of fundamentally transforming the country: 

“We have to seize on this moment. We have to make sure that health workers are not just assumed to be the heroes of COVID-19, that we actually do the work of upending the sources of oppression that have led to these inequities and that we recognize that that takes time and that that takes constant pressure.”

<a href="https://hds.harvard.edu/people/cornel-r-west">Dr. Cornel West</a> is a former Professor of the Practice of Public Philosophy at Harvard University and a Professor Emeritus at Princeton University. West is also a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and has used the organization’s platform to <a href="https://www.dsausa.org/democratic-left/cornel_west_endorses_bernie_sanders/">endorse</a> Bernie Sanders for president.  

West is known for his vocal opposition to Donald Trump, <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=14389">describing</a> him at a rally for Bernie Sanders as a “neo-fascist gangster.”

West is also notable for his mistrust of the official narrative of 9/11. As <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=5054">reported</a> by Campus Reform, he relayed his suspicion when asked if 9/11 was an inside job during the Million Muslim March in Washington D.C. “At this point, I’m still uncertain. I think there might be a possibility but my hunch is that with Bin Laden’s definitive investment, he must have had something to do with it,” explained West.

Among West’s other peculiar beliefs, he is an avowed socialist that has served as an honorary chair for the DSA. In an <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zYAH-BZZTs">interview</a> with Laura Flanders, he praised Karl Marx for having an “indispensable” analysis of America, declaring that American capitalism forces people to live in “wage slavery.” When <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuc6C2_Txmw">challenged</a> by Tucker Carlson for his support of Socialism, most notably for its repeated and abysmal failures, West deflected and accused the US of interfering in preventing the implementation of authentic socialism in places like Venezuela.

Perhaps the most disturbing example of Dr. West’s radical beliefs is his sustained relationship and defense of notorious Nation of Islam (NOI) leader, Louis Farrakhan. 

Farrakhan is noted for his virulent and antisemitic remarks praise of Adolf Hitler made during NOI sermons:

Despite a bevy of disgusting remarks, Dr. West continues to collaborate with and defend Farrakhan. He most recently <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfC-z80GCSk">appeared</a> with him at an event in Chicago, hosted by PBS, to discuss issues in the black community. Numerous other academics and community leaders were present. His association with Farrakhan goes back decades, as is exhibited in a lecture given at Harvard University where he <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KwhXPXjjMw">flouted</a> his agreement with him that white supremacy is ingrained in America. In another lecture,  Dr. West openly <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qmuSqlvWE4">admitted</a> that he works with Farrakhan. 

When <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZwhYShH-pE">pressed</a> by Roland Marted about his relationship with Farrakhan, West refused to disavow him. West responded that “people need to stop lying about my brother,” and denied that Farrakhan had ever made anti-Semitic remarks. West went on to praise Farrakhan for his “consistency” on white supremacy.   

Dr. West has also openly embraced ANTIFA. <a href="https://www.democracynow.org/2020/6/1/cornel_west_us_moment_of_reckoning">Appearing</a> on Democracy Now!, Dr. West claimed that ANTIFA “saved his life” when protesting in Charlottesville and lambasted the Trump administration's decision to label ANTIFA a terrorist organization:

“...ANTIFA saved my life in Charlottesville. There’s no doubt about it, that they provided the security, you see. So the very notion that they become candidates for a terrorist organization, but the people who were trying to kill us — the Nazis, the Klan — they’re not candidates for terrorist organization status — but that’s what you’re going to get. You’re going to get a Trump-led neofascist backlash and clampdown on what is going on. We ought to be very clear about that. The neofascism has that kind of obsession with militaristic imposition in the face of any kind of disorder. And so we’ve got to be fortified for that.”

Cornel West is a vocal critic of Israel. In 2014 - though aware that terrorist group Hamas was launching thousands of rockets into Israeli civilian areas - he nonetheless <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvFVnRfpj7w&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;t=281">accused</a> Israel of state-sponsored terrorism and urged “resistance” on behalf of the Palestinians.

<a href="https://hls.harvard.edu/faculty/directory/10048/Bartholet">Elizabeth Bartholet</a> is the Morris Wasserstein Public Interest Professor of Law and Faculty Director of the Child Advocacy Program at Harvard University. Bartholet’s work is primarily centered around child welfare. She <a href="https://bartholet.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/children.pdf">believes</a> that “poverty and social justice are the root causes of most child maltreatment” and that early childhood intervention by social services is needed to prevent abuse. 

Bartholet is a vocal and visceral opponent of home-schooling, describing it as “near-absolute parental power” and “inconsistent” with the human rights of children. In a <a href="https://arizonalawreview.org/pdf/62-1/62arizlrev1.pdf">paper written for the Arizona Law Review</a>, she advocates for an outright ban on homeschooling. Bartholet sees homeschooling as a danger to society, and accuses parents who decide to remove their children from public schools of promoting segregation and misogyny:  

“...parents can now keep their children at home in the name of homeschooling free from any real scrutiny as to whether or how they are educating their children. Many homeschool because they want to isolate their children from ideas and values central to our democracy, determined to keep their children from exposure to views that might enable autonomous choice about their future lives. Many promote racial segregation and female subservience. Many question science. Abusive parents can keep their children at home free from the risk that teachers will report them to child protection services. Some homeschool precisely for this reason.”

Bartholet repeats and expands on her position, claiming that homeschooling may lead to child abuse: 

“Parents can choose to teach that biblical truth trumps all, that all science is false science, that women should be educated to be subservient to men, that people of color are inferior to whites, that people with nontraditional sexual orientations or gender identities should be “cured” or condemned. Parents can choose to put their children to work, notwithstanding child labor laws. Parents can choose to beat their children, starve them, or chain them up…”

Bartholet then critiques the inability to enact any legislation due to the “outdated nature of the Constitution, 

“The U.S. Constitution with its negative rights structure is an anomaly, outdated and inadequate by the standards of the rest of the world Negative rights— rights to be free from state intervention—are particularly inadequate for children...The U.S. Constitution’s focus on negative rights represents an older western constitutional tradition, “increasingly out of step with emerging constitutional norms…”

Bartholet’s hostility towards homeschooling appears to stem from the fact that a disproportionate amount of these parents are conservative Christians and not progressives: 

“It is the religious ideologues who dominate the homeschooling movement...Nor is there any other significant advocacy organization designed to represent the views of the highly educated nonreligious homeschoolers, the descendants of the John Holt progressive wing of the homeschooling movement.”

Bartholet had been slated to <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=14850">appear</a> at a Harvard-sponsored summit that was described as an “anti-homeschooling conference.” Titled “<a href="https://cap.law.harvard.edu/homeschooling-summit-june-18-19-2020/">Homeschooling Summit: Problems, Politics, and Prospects for Reform</a>,” it has since been postponed after receiving fierce backlash.

Dr. David R. Williams is a <a href="https://scholar.harvard.edu/davidrwilliams/home" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tenured professor at Harvard University</a>. He specializes in several subjects, including Public Health, Sociology, and African American Studies. Dr. Williams has also delivered many lectures and written a substantial number of publications that discuss discrimination and racism in the United States, particularly in healthcare, and the negative health impact conservatives have on Democrats and minorities.

In 2016, Dr. Williams appeared in a TED Talk titled, “<a href="https://www.ted.com/talks/david_r_williams_how_racism_makes_us_sick/transcript?language=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">How Racism Makes Us Sick</a>”. In this 16 minute video, he discusses how stereotypes in the subconscious minds of healthcare professionals lead to lesser quality care for minorities. He attributes this to implicit biases and explains how it’s an unconscious process that occurs “even among the most well-intended individuals.” According to Williams, when a person of color is being treated by a non-minority medical professional, that provider holds unconscious and inherent biases that cause them to unknowingly provide lesser quality healthcare.

A topic Dr. Williams discusses often, particularly on Twitter, is white privilege and supremacy in politics. In an <a href="https://scholar.harvard.edu/files/davidrwilliams/files/williams_medlock_nejm_elections_and_health_2017.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">article published by the New England Journal of Medicine</a> in 2017, Dr. Williams alleges that President Donald Trump’s candidacy reignited pre-existing hostile attitudes towards racial and ethnic minorities and migrants. He goes on to describe how Democrats in particular experienced negative health effects after the 2016 election, as they feel they are direct targets of hostility and discrimination, particularly white American conservatives.

He further accuses the conservative-run Tea Party, which materialized after the election of Barack Obama, of increasing racial animosity in the United States. Dr. Williams claims a large uptick in racism on social media occurred after Obama’s election, as well as a resurgence of historically racist stereotypes. He attributes all of this to the Tea Party.

<a href="https://www.britannica.com/topic/Tea-Party-movement" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Tea Party</a> is an organization that was created in response to the 2008 financial and housing crisis in the United States. Outraged by the Obama administration’s policies - such as the mortgage bailouts in 2009 - the Tea Party was born. <a href="https://www.teaparty.org/about-us/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">According to their website</a>, the Tea Party claims to have millions of members nationwide, consisting of Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, and Independents alike.

Dr. Williams is also credited with developing the “<a href="https://scholar.harvard.edu/davidrwilliams/node/32397" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Everyday Discrimination Scale</a>” that is widely used as a measure of subjective experiences of discrimination in order to measure feelings of racism. This scale is used in schools to measure students’ perceived level of discrimination in their everyday lives. On the flip side, if students score very low on the scale, teachers and professors want to know why students think they aren’t being discriminated against. This typically boils down to the color of their skin.

The scale is used in several major universities, particularly in healthcare studies. <a href="https://education.uw.edu/people/rjd">Robin DiAngelo</a> is an Affiliate Associate Professor in the College of Education at the University of Washington. She is best known for her New York Times bestselling book titled “<a href="https://www.robindiangelo.com/publications/">White Fragility</a>,” which examines DiAngelo’s belief that all white people have embraced and internalized bigotry in order to protect institutional racism in every aspect of American life.
Robin previously described her all-encompassing view on systemic racism in her article <a href="https://www.robindiangelo.com/publications/">“Nothing to Add,”</a> noting that systematic racism results in the unequal distribution of resources amongst racial groups, essentially defining racism as any and all racial disparities.
She writes, “&#8230;whiteness scholars define racism as encompassing economic, political, social, and cultural structures, actions, and beliefs that systematize and perpetuate an unequal distribution of privileges, resources, and power among white people and people of color.”
DiAngelo states that the unequal distribution of resources is what makes racism an inexorable part of the free market.
“Capitalism is so bound up with racism&#8230;Capitalism is dependent on inequality, on an underclass. If the model is profit over everything else, you’re not going to look at your policies to see what is most racially equitable.” 
During her appearance on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZfiSjTHVqA&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;ab_channel=TheTonightShowStarringJimmyFallon">Jimmy Fallon</a>, DiAngelo explained that individuals are not immune to racism, as it&#8217;s a foundational aspect of our nation. Racism is not an individual act or offense, but rather a system that disproportionately discriminates against people of color and automatically benefits whites. During an appearance on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dteOQPzc_so">CBS News</a>, she stated that white privilege is automatically bestowed upon white people whether they consider themselves racist or not. During a later interview with the <a href="https://youtu.be/neV_GlvUGn4?t=439">Family Action Network</a>, DiAneglo will go to her “last breath” believing that all white people are racist;
“I will hold to my last breath that all white people that live in a society whose foundation is white superiority internalize the message of white superiority…”

<a href="https://education.uw.edu/people/rjd">Robin DiAngelo</a> is an Affiliate Associate Professor in the College of Education at the University of Washington. She is best known for her New York Times bestselling book titled “<a href="https://www.robindiangelo.com/publications/">White Fragility</a>,” which examines DiAngelo’s belief that all white people have embraced and internalized bigotry in order to protect institutional racism in every aspect of American life.

Robin previously described her all-encompassing view on systemic racism in her article <a href="https://www.robindiangelo.com/publications/">“Nothing to Add,”</a> noting that systematic racism results in the unequal distribution of resources amongst racial groups, essentially defining racism as any and all racial disparities.

She writes, “...whiteness scholars define racism as encompassing economic, political, social, and cultural structures, actions, and beliefs that systematize and perpetuate an unequal distribution of privileges, resources, and power among white people and people of color.”

DiAngelo states that the unequal distribution of resources is what makes racism an inexorable part of the free market.

“Capitalism is so bound up with racism...Capitalism is dependent on inequality, on an underclass. If the model is profit over everything else, you’re not going to look at your policies to see what is most racially equitable.” 

During her appearance on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZfiSjTHVqA&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;ab_channel=TheTonightShowStarringJimmyFallon">Jimmy Fallon</a>, DiAngelo explained that individuals are not immune to racism, as it's a foundational aspect of our nation. Racism is not an individual act or offense, but rather a system that disproportionately discriminates against people of color and automatically benefits whites. During an appearance on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dteOQPzc_so">CBS News</a>, she stated that white privilege is automatically bestowed upon white people whether they consider themselves racist or not. During a later interview with the <a href="https://youtu.be/neV_GlvUGn4?t=439">Family Action Network</a>, DiAneglo will go to her “last breath” believing that all white people are racist;

“I will hold to my last breath that all white people that live in a society whose foundation is white superiority internalize the message of white superiority…”

<a href="https://isearch.asu.edu/profile/597528" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Lorraine Moya Salas</a> is an Instructor in the <a href="https://socialwork.asu.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">School of Social Work</a> at <a href="https://campus.asu.edu/dohttps://campus.asu.edu/downtown-phoenixwntown-phoenix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Arizona State University &#8211; Downtown Phoenix</a>.
During a lecture in one of her courses—titled, “Foundations of Social Work”—Dr. Lorraine can be heard describing the United States as a “white supremacist system,” that was founded for the benefit of white people at the expense of Native Americans and people of color.
In the class—recorded and provided exclusively to the Professor Watchlist team by an anonymous source—Dr. Salas urges her students to confront the “implicit biases” present in themselves and American society. Claiming that stereotypes and prejudices construct implicit bias, she warns that unconscious actions can cause serious harm.
Attempting to provide an example to bolster her claim, Dr. Salas states that implicit bias causes doctors to act as if their black patients are slaves. She proceeds to cite a study that claims doctors give less pain medication to black patients as compared to white ones.
Dr. Salas alleges this is the product of the legacy of slavery; slave owners viewed blacks as subhuman and able to withstand a large amount of pain, so therefore doctors continue to believe that blacks can withstand a large amount of pain. Doctors will therefore prescribe black patients less pain medication.

Dr. Salas additionally cites a study that claims teachers will call on boys more often than girls in their classrooms. She claims this as proof that teachers think boys answer questions correctly more often than girls.

Throughout the lecture, Dr. Salas alleges that numerous racial, ethnic, and gender disparities in society are a result of implicit bias. She urges her students, as future social workers, to confront their own implicit biases and assigns an “implicit bias test” for them to complete before the next class.
Dr. Salas additionally claims that institutional racism produces inequality and disparities, attributing it to the legacy of slavery in the Americas. Although acknowledging that all cultures practiced slavery, she claims that no slave trade was enforced along racial lines until the Europeans did so in order to specifically oppress people of color.
Citing slavery, the genocide of Native Americans and discriminatory, Jim Crow laws, Dr. Salas claims that  America was constructed as a “white supremacist culture” for the sole benefit of white people who have maintained their “white power structures” ever since.

In the accompanying slides, Dr. Salas cites Critical Race Theory to define white supremacy as a, “political or socio-economic system where white people enjoy structural advantage and rights that other racial and ethnic groups do not, both at a collective and an individual level”.

As <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2012/03/11/what-is-critical-race-theory/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ben Shapiro writes in Breitbart News</a>, Critical Race Theory is an intellectual branch of Marxism that views America and all of its institutions as being infected with white supremacy—to the point of some, including <a href="https://www.professorwatchlist.org/professor/nikolehannahjones" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nikole Hannah-Jones</a>, even <a href="https://reason.com/2020/09/23/1619-project-nikole-hannah-jones-1776-founding-race-new-york-times/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claiming</a> America’s real founding was in 1619 when the first slave stepped foot in North America, and not 1776 when the American colonies declared independence from England.
Dr. Salas had previously published a paper on critical theory, titled, “Critical Theory: Pathway from Dichotomous to Integrated Social Work Practice.” In it, she urges social <a href="https://socialwork.rutgers.edu/file/4791/download" target="_blank" rel="noopener">workers to embrace critical theory in order to accomplish social justice</a> “at all levels of practice.”
Dr. Salas further states that while people of color can hold prejudiced views, they cannot be racist as they have no institutional power in a system that values whiteness. She urges white students in the class to be “allies” in order to help minorities access the resources available to them by way of “white privilege.”

<a href="https://cronkite.asu.edu/about/faculty-and-leadership/faculty/gilgerbio">Kristin Gilger</a> is the Reynolds Professor of Business Journalism and the interim dean at the Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University (ASU). She is the author of the book <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Theres-No-Crying-Newsrooms-Learned/dp/1538121492">“There’s No Crying in Newsrooms”</a> and has served in various roles at ASU since 2002.

Gilger has been mired in controversy since assuming her role as dean this past summer. The previous candidate, Sonya Forte Duhe, was replaced by Gilger after <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/after-tweet-supporting-good-police-officers-arizona-state-revokes-journalism-dean-offer/">her offer was rescinded by the university</a>. After tweeting an image that was considered too positive towards police officers, Duhe was condemned by university faculty for showing “poor judgment.”

Gilger has come under fire after pressuring Rae’Lee Klein, a senior journalism major, and station manager for ASU’s Blaze radio, to resign from her position after <a href="https://nypost.com/2020/08/28/this-is-why-jacob-blake-had-a-warrant-out-for-his-arrest/?preview_id=16209831">tweeting and soon deleting a New York Post article</a> detailing the warrant issued for Jacob Blake’s arrest;

“Always more to the story, folks. Please read this article to get to the background of Jacob Blake’s warrant. You’ll be quite disgusted“ 

Blake—who was wanted for sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend—was shot in the back by police after resisting arrest and allegedly reaching for a knife on the floor of his car.

Facing immediate backlash for her tweet, the Board of Directors at the station <a href="https://nypost.com/2020/09/18/arizona-student-journalist-cancelled-over-jacob-blake-tweet/">voted unanimously to remove her from her position</a>. Later releasing a statement, the board announced that “Blaze Radio firmly believes that Black Lives Matter.”

“The board gave Klein an opportunity to step down under her own will. As of the time of this statement, Klein has not made the decision to resign…In light of this, we do not recognize Rae'Lee Klein as the station manager of Blaze Radio.”  

Gilger has claimed that the University is not moving to remove Klein. In a statement to the New York Post, Gilger stated that Klein is not being targeted by the university for her views.

“Any actions that are unfolding are not punishment for a tweet. I have been clear with Rae’Lee that she would not be removed as station manager of Blaze Radio, a student internet radio station, because of the views she expressed,”  

However, in email exchanges between Klein and Gilger, she did in fact act to pressure Klein to resign, contrary to her statement.

In their exchange (pictured below) Gilger clearly states that Klein remaining in her position, “is not an option,” as she had lost the confidence of the board.

Although suggesting new roles that Klein may assume, Gilger cites the "Media Guidelines for Student Journalists" to warn her to refrain in the future from posting information “that could call into question your ability to act independently as a journalist.” This seems to contradict Gilger’s claim that Klein was not being targeted by the university for her views.

Update: In February of 2021, Klein announced that she <a href="https://www.westernjournal.com/college-pays-settlement-conservative-student-ousted-manager-role/">has reached a settlement with Gilger</a> over a lawsuit she had filed against ASU several months prior.

<a href="https://cisa.asu.edu/node/7955" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Asao Inoue</a> is a professor and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Equity and Inclusion in the College of Integrative Science and Arts at Arizona State University. According to his University biography, Inoue’s <a href="https://cisa.asu.edu/node/7955" target="_blank" rel="noopener">research</a> focuses on “antiracist and social justice theory and practices in writing assessments.”

Prior to his role at Arizona State, Inoue served as the Director of the Writing Center at the University of Washington-Tacoma. As Daily Caller <a href="https://dailycaller.com/2017/02/20/college-writing-center-declares-american-grammar-a-racist-unjust-language-structure/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">documents</a>, Inoue <a href="\&quot;https://stjenglish.com/standing-against-racism-in-the-field-of-writing-dr-asao-inoue-uw-tacoma/\&quot;" target="_blank" rel="noopener">commissioned</a> an anti-racist poster in an effort to ensure that his staff did not “embrace racist practices.” Inoue maintains that racism is embedded in the English language as well as in society itself, writing that “racism is the normal condition of things.

According to the text of the poster, recorded by The College Fix, Inoue writes that his goal is to <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/university-writing-center-combats-racist-unjust-language-structures/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">help students become more critical of “unjust language structures”</a> in order to succeed in what Inoue claims is a racist society.

Inoue would later author a book on his beliefs titled, “Labor-Based Grading Contracts: Building Equity and Inclusion in the Compassionate Writing Classroom.” In an excerpt from the book, Inoue declares that he focuses on grading students for their efforts, and not the “quality” of their writing.

“This book focuses on one kind of grading contract, one that calculates final course grades purely by the labor students complete, not by any judgments of the quality of their writing.”

As Daily Wire reports, Inoue writes that his <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/arizona-state-dean-grading-writing-based-on-quality-is-racist-promotes-white-language-supremacy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">beliefs and teaching practices are based on “critical-race theory,” or “labor-based theory.”</a>As Breitbart documents, c<a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2012/03/11/what-is-critical-race-theory/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ritical race theory is an intellectual branch of Marxism</a> that views America and all of its institutions as being infected with white supremacy.

He writes further that grading students only perpetuates white supremacy.

“The traditional purposes and methods used for grading writing turn out to be de facto racist and White supremacist….Grading by a standard, thus, is how White language supremacy is perpetuated in schools”

Inoue also draws an analogy between issuing grades for English and the institution of slavery, stating that grading is a “slave-making mechanism.”

Inoue believes that even the physical proximity of white people causes racism. In a YouTube video of Inoue speaking before the 2019 Convention of the National Council of Teachers of English, Inoue <a href="https://youtu.be/brPGTewcDYY?t=994" target="_blank" rel="noopener">states that even the presence of white people “perpetuates racism.</a>”

Inoue delivered this speech while <a href="https://cccc.ncte.org/cccc/about/chairs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">serving as the Conference Chair of the Conference on College Composition and Communication</a>, which bills itself as the <a href="https://cccc.ncte.org/cccc/about/chairs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">largest professional organization for researching and teaching writing composition</a>. It is the annual conference of the National Council of Teachers of English, which <a href="https://ncte.org/about/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">boasts over 25,000 English and Language Arts teachers as members all over the country</a>.

<a href="https://isearch.asu.edu/profile/597528" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Lorraine Moya Salas</a> is an Instructor in the <a href="https://socialwork.asu.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">School of Social Work</a> at <a href="https://campus.asu.edu/dohttps://campus.asu.edu/downtown-phoenixwntown-phoenix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Arizona State University - Downtown Phoenix</a>.

During a lecture in one of her courses—titled, “Foundations of Social Work”—Dr. Lorraine can be heard describing the United States as a “white supremacist system,” that was founded for the benefit of white people at the expense of Native Americans and people of color.

In the class—recorded and provided exclusively to the Professor Watchlist team by an anonymous source—Dr. Salas urges her students to confront the “implicit biases” present in themselves and American society. Claiming that stereotypes and prejudices construct implicit bias, she warns that unconscious actions can cause serious harm.

Attempting to provide an example to bolster her claim, Dr. Salas states that implicit bias causes doctors to act as if their black patients are slaves. She proceeds to cite a study that claims doctors give less pain medication to black patients as compared to white ones.

Dr. Salas alleges this is the product of the legacy of slavery; slave owners viewed blacks as subhuman and able to withstand a large amount of pain, so therefore doctors continue to believe that blacks can withstand a large amount of pain. Doctors will therefore prescribe black patients less pain medication.

Dr. Salas additionally cites a study that claims teachers will call on boys more often than girls in their classrooms. She claims this as proof that teachers think boys answer questions correctly more often than girls.

Throughout the lecture, Dr. Salas alleges that numerous racial, ethnic, and gender disparities in society are a result of implicit bias. She urges her students, as future social workers, to confront their own implicit biases and assigns an “implicit bias test” for them to complete before the next class.

Dr. Salas additionally claims that institutional racism produces inequality and disparities, attributing it to the legacy of slavery in the Americas. Although acknowledging that all cultures practiced slavery, she claims that no slave trade was enforced along racial lines until the Europeans did so in order to specifically oppress people of color.

Citing slavery, the genocide of Native Americans and discriminatory, Jim Crow laws, Dr. Salas claims that  America was constructed as a “white supremacist culture” for the sole benefit of white people who have maintained their “white power structures” ever since.

In the accompanying slides, Dr. Salas cites Critical Race Theory to define white supremacy as a, “political or socio-economic system where white people enjoy structural advantage and rights that other racial and ethnic groups do not, both at a collective and an individual level”.

As <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2012/03/11/what-is-critical-race-theory/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ben Shapiro writes in Breitbart News</a>, Critical Race Theory is an intellectual branch of Marxism that views America and all of its institutions as being infected with white supremacy—to the point of some, including <a href="https://www.professorwatchlist.org/professor/nikolehannahjones" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nikole Hannah-Jones</a>, even <a href="https://reason.com/2020/09/23/1619-project-nikole-hannah-jones-1776-founding-race-new-york-times/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claiming</a> America’s real founding was in 1619 when the first slave stepped foot in North America, and not 1776 when the American colonies declared independence from England.

Dr. Salas had previously published a paper on critical theory, titled, “Critical Theory: Pathway from Dichotomous to Integrated Social Work Practice.” In it, she urges social <a href="https://socialwork.rutgers.edu/file/4791/download" target="_blank" rel="noopener">workers to embrace critical theory in order to accomplish social justice</a> “at all levels of practice.”

Dr. Salas further states that while people of color can hold prejudiced views, they cannot be racist as they have no institutional power in a system that values whiteness. She urges white students in the class to be “allies” in order to help minorities access the resources available to them by way of “white privilege.”

Dr. Bucholtz’s areas of specialization include race, language, gender, sexuality, and African American English in California. She teaches larger, Gen-Ed courses for non-linguistic majors and is the author of “<a href="https://www.amazon.com/White-Kids-Language-Styles-Identity/dp/0521692040" target="_blank" rel="noopener">White Kids: Language, Race and Styles of Youth Identity</a>. “

Dr. Bucholtz ended her portion of the lecture by arguing that white students devalue inclusivity because they are uncomfortable with losing their place of privilege. She told teachers that they will need to be ready to “push back against their pushback”.

<a href="http://www.femst.ucsb.edu/people/mireille-miller-young">Dr. Mireille Miller-Young</a> is an Associate Professor of Feminist Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Miller was sentenced to three years’ probation after violently attacking a 16-year-old pro-life activist on campus. She was convicted of assault, theft, and destruction of property, but the University of Santa Barbara never fired her.

<a href="https://www.religion.ucsb.edu/people/faculty/rudy-busto/">Rudy Busto </a>is an Associate Professor at the University of California - Santa Barbara. His work is described as examining how “race structures state and civil society” and how the concept of race structures religion. 

As reported by <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=14987">Campus Reform</a>, Busto recently gave a lengthy presentation to one of his classes at the end of the semester in which he explained in detail why he believes that America is not an exceptional nation. He declared that “history has dispelled the notion of American Exceptionalism,” Busto listed off the reasons why he believed that America was no longer exceptional, including losing the Vietnam War and the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

<a href="https://www.religion.ucsb.edu/people/student/timothy-snediker/">Timothy Snediker</a> works in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He first rose to notoriety for tweeting about his desire to assassinate Jesus Christ.

Snediker’s animosity towards Christ stems from his belief that the concepts of the individual and capitalism, both of which he opposes, arose out of Christianity during the enlightenment in Europe.

In the <a href="http://jcrt.org/religioustheory/2016/05/18/theodicy-of-money-the-scene-and-subject-of-forgiveness/">Theodicy of Money - The Scene of and Subject Forgiveness</a>, Snediker writes:

“Against the standard left critique of capitalism, which presupposes a certain secularism and a certain atheism, one must rather grapple with the peculiar verve of a comment made by Giorgio Agamben: “God did not die; he was transformed into money...To the identity of Christianity and capitalism corresponds the identity of God and money….Today, it is simply not enough to be an atheist, because, in the last instance, everyone believes in money." 

As written in <a href="https://jcrt.org/archives/14.1/snediker.pdf">The Autonomy of the Now</a>, he further expands on his position:

“Our hypothesis is that, under the brutal conditions of global capitalist hegemony, resistance necessitates the affirmation of the intrinsic instability and artificiality of identity…”

“...resistance to power necessitates a two-fold refusal of the authority and sovereignty of both Christianity and Secularism…”

“Secularization is the strategic means by which the West (which is to say, Christendom, or European colonialism, or, simply, Christianity) effects its accumulations, its appropriations, and its dominations.....Christianity’s hegemony has not waned; it has metamorphosed and Metastasized."

“Christianity is the identitarian religion par excellence: it ceaselessly works to individualize, legitimate and commoditize one’s identity....this is how Christianity was constituted as a privileged instrument of power”

“Resistance to power necessitates, therefore, a restoration of the autonomy of the now, which in turn requires a two-fold counter-strategy: one the one hand, an acceptance of the instability of identity and the concurrent affirmation of our becoming-other; on the other hand, a refusal of power, which, in the era of global capitalism amounts to a critique of the secular, or, again, a critique of Christianity. “

"Our imperative is to join the struggle for subjectivity, to struggle to speak truthfully about ourselves, to discover that relation to the outside which allows us, in accordance with Nietzsche’s injunction, to become what we are—to become, in a word, anti-Christian."

Snediker’s vitriol towards Christianity exploded when asked what he would do if he could travel 2000 years back in time, he <a href="https://twitter.com/realBenLeBlanc/status/1287809540373778434">tweeted</a>:

“Easy. I would find and assassinate Jesus of Nazareth.” 

He then proceeded to double-down, tweeting:

“Theologically speaking, it would be really important to get him before his calling and ministry begins, so that gives me roughly a decade to make it to Palestine, locate the man, and make my move. I don’t want to be the heroic Judas avant la lettre”

Mary K. Gayne is an <a href="https://www.jmu.edu/history/people/all-people/gayne-mary.shtml" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Associate Professor of History</a> at James Madison University. Her areas of interest include World History, European History, French History, and Integrative General Education. She has written scholarly publications for outlets such as the Journal of Women’s History, Eighteenth-Century Studies, and Presses Universitaires de Paris-Sorbonne.
When Dr. Gayne isn’t teaching or writing for various journals, she can be found on Twitter <a href="https://www.breezejmu.org/news/jmu-history-professor-publicly-claims-republican-party-can-die-for-all-i-care/article_ddf2bb30-0e25-11eb-a4fc-57151a21b524.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bashing conservatives</a>. Dr. Gayne quickly deleted the tweet, claiming that it was because of the “f-bomb.” In a statement, Dr. Gayne wrote, “I did choose to delete yesterday&#8217;s tweet. It became clear that the sensibilities of twitterites &amp; robots, that publicly identify themselves as MAGA adherents, were upset by my dropping of the ‘F-bomb’ in a political tweet on my personal twitter feed.” She also tried to claim she didn’t mean the people in the party, but the U.S. political party itself.

<a href="http://www.macalester.edu/academics/english/facultystaff/marlonjames/">Marlon James</a> is an Professor of English at Macalester College in Minnesota. He said that many police act like &#8216;Third World death squads&#8217; and that the police are carrying out state-sanctioned violence.

Dr. Dixon is <a href="https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-01-15/redneck-revolt-and-the-hard-lefts-call-to-arms/9303758?nw=0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a member</a> of the ANTIFA group known as <a href="https://www.redneckrevolt.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“Redneck Revolt.&#8221;</a> Describing itself as a <a href="https://www.redneckrevolt.org/principles" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“revolutionary” organization</a>, Redneck Revolt advocates for training and using firearms to be used for “communal self-defense” and the “right of militant resistance.” The organization openly declares they “are not pacifists,” and support the abolition of prisons, national borders, police, private property, and capitalism.
Dr. Dixon advocates for the use of violence and justifies the destruction of private property. Speaking to ABC News, he makes the <a href="https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-01-15/dwayne-dixon-takes-care-of-his-gun-in-his-workshop/9321726?nw=0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">&#8220;distinction” between destroying “inanimate objects&#8221; and attacking people after stating that the left uses violence in the cases of “resistance</a>.”

In a lecture delivered at Harvard University in 2018, Dr. Dixon <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0dgg9dXLm0&amp;ab_channel=HarvardCarrCenterforHumanRightsPolicy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">describes slaveholders as “white-supremacist capitalists” and analogous to corporate bosses</a>. Arguing that neither would give up their property peacefully, he echoes the call for “active resistance” by Redneck Revolt to achieve liberation.
In the same lecture, Dr. Dixon decries various conservatives who were extended the opportunity to speak at colleges around the country. He equates universities&#8217; embrace of free speech to the facilitation of the rise of fascism in America. Dr. Dixon further derides the “politics of passivity” of those who embrace the merits of debating all ideas within a university, stating the moral high ground is “for those who wish to drown in blood.”
