<a href="https://www.rcc.edu/catalog/2021-2022/h_faculty_and_administration/b_faculty.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Asatar Bair</a> is an Associate Professor of Economics at <a href="https://www.rcc.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Riverside City College</a>. A self-identified communist, Dr. Bair frequently praises dictators like Stalin and Mao.
In a thread on Twitter, Dr. Bair extols Joseph Stalin as “<a href="https://twitter.com/asatarbair/status/1408953211361239042" target="_blank" rel="noopener">one of the great leaders of the 20th century.</a>” While acknowledging he was, “not a saint,” he describes the Soviet Dictator as a “revolutionary” and a, “great contributor to Marxist theory.”

His authoritarian reign led to the deaths of <a href="https://twitter.com/asatarbair/status/1408952378691256320?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">20-40 million people through execution, starvation, and deportation</a>. Political dissidents, academics, artists, and even members of the Communist Party were the targets of mass arrests and forced disappearances.

<a href="https://twitter.com/asatarbair/status/1408952378691256320?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mao Zedong</a>—who chaired the Chinese Communist Party from 1935 until his death in 1976—is widely considered one of the deadliest heads of state in history. <a href="https://twitter.com/asatarbair/status/1408952378691256320?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> An estimated 65 million Chinese perished from his regime</a>. Mao&#8217;s campaign known as the “Great Leap Forward” <a href="https://twitter.com/asatarbair/status/1408952378691256320?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">caused an estimated 40 million to die from starvation and exhaustion in labor camps alone</a>.
Despite his human rights atrocities, Dr. Bair praises Mao’s policies in lectures hosted on his <a href="https://twitter.com/asatarbair/status/1408952378691256320?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Youtube page</a>. In a video titled “Economic History and Development of Maoist China,” Dr. Bair <a href="https://twitter.com/asatarbair/status/1408952378691256320?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">lauds the Great Leap Forward as a “great economic feat</a>.” He claims that Mao’s policies actually improved the quality of life in China. At one point, he makes the extraordinary claim that no evidence exists to implicate Mao in the death of millions.

At one point, he claims the Soviets never had to rely on slave labor to achieve this–which Bair accuses other free-market, Western nations of doing.
Despite Dr. Bair’s claim, forced labor was integral to the existence of the Soviet Union. At one point, as much as <a href="https://twitter.com/asatarbair/status/1408952378691256320?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">15 percent of the Soviet population was imprisoned</a> in “gulags” and branded as “class enemies.” Prisoners were exploited as slave labor and were often worked to death in sub-zero, in-humane conditions. In one of the most notorious cases, <a href="https://twitter.com/asatarbair/status/1408952378691256320?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tens of thousands died building the White-Sea Canal</a>—in the middle of the Russian winter—only for it to be largely impassable.

<a href="https://www.umt.edu/academics/faculty/tobin-shearer.php">Dr. Tobin Shearer</a> is a Professor of African-American Studies at the University of Montana. He argues all statistics showing differences between races (such as economic differences, health differences, etc.) are traceable to systemic racism. In a Youtube video, Shearer says “To be white in America is to claim an identity that attempts to be de-racialized and is predicated upon the receipt of power and privilege simply on one’s appearance: a racialized appearance from the fundamental equations that whiteness equals access to power and privilege based on one’s racial identity.”

<a href="https://uca.edu/confucius/facultystaff/">Guo-ou Zhuang</a> is an Associate Professor of Chinese and the Director of the Confucius Institute of the University of Central Arkansas. The Confucius Institute is funded by the Chinese Communist Party and serves as a focal point for the dissemination of propaganda and foreign espionage on American campuses.

<a href="http://www.luc.edu/history/people/facultydirectory/donoghuejohn.shtml">Dr. John Donoghue</a> is a Professor of History at Loyola University-Chicago. He regularly teaches a course on slavery and abolition, but updated his class this year to include Donald Trump, and linked him to slavery. His courses and research often tries to link capitalism to slavery.

<a href="https://www.luc.edu/theology/facultystaff/hermansenmarcia.shtml">Dr. Marcia Hermansen</a> is a Professor of Islamic Studies at Loyola University-Chicago. Hermansen said after the election of Donald Trump that professors should give Muslim students extra time on assignments if they requested; "“If a Muslim student requests extra time to complete assignments, it may be because they feel threatened" she said at a post-election discussion. Additionally, Hermansen has a problem of intolerance towards people critical of Islam, as she once backed out of a panel with Islam critic Robert Spencer.  The event was supposed to be about different perspectives on Islam, but Hermansen apparently was offended that it would actually involve different perspectives on Islam.

Stephen Asma, professor of Philosophy and a Distinguished Scholar at <a href="https://www.colum.edu/academics/liberal-arts-and-sciences/humanities-history-and-social-sciences/faculty-detail/stephen-asma.html">Columbia College Chicago</a>, published an article on how &#8220;toxic masculinity&#8221; causes mass shootings. He says &#8220;The shooter is socially alienated, and he can’t get laid.&#8221; pigeon-holing all recent male mass shooters as &#8220;weaponized losers&#8221;.

<a href="http://www.colum.edu/academics/liberal-arts-and-sciences/science-and-mathematics/faculty-detail/keith-kostecka.html">Keith Kostecka</a> is an Associate Professor of Chemistry and Environmental Science in the Department of Science and Mathematics at Columbia College in Chicago. After Paul Ryan posted a picture of his family, Kostecka commented that Ryan should go kill himself. He has also asked for the elimination of the Catholic Church and called for the demise of the Tea Party.

China is the greatest existential threat that the United States currently faces. Through military, governmental, and financial fronts, the authoritarian Chinese government seeks to supplant the United States as the world’s sole superpower. None of their tactics may be more perfidious than the placement of Confucius Institutes on campuses across the country. Currently, 64 Institutes operate at American universities, high schools, and even elementary schools, serving as focal points of China’s espionage against our country. China has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to indoctrinate students with state-sponsored, communist propaganda, matched by university funds that are enabled by your hard-earned tax dollars.
Turning Point USA is standing up to the Chinese Communist Party. Through our China on Campus initiative, Turning Point USA is highlighting the infiltration of our educational institutions and halting the Chinese government in its tracks. We will locate, identify, and expose every school and professor that receives funding from the Chinese government. China is the greatest existential threat that the United States currently faces. Through military, governmental, and financial fronts, the authoritarian Chinese government seeks to supplant the United States as the world’s sole superpower. None of their tactics may be more perfidious than the placement of Confucius Institutes on campuses across the country. Currently, 64 Institutes operate at American universities, high schools, and even elementary schools, serving as focal points of China’s espionage against our country. China has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to indoctrinate students with state-sponsored, communist propaganda, matched by university funds that are enabled by your hard-earned tax dollars.

Turning Point USA is standing up to the Chinese Communist Party. Through our China on Campus initiative, Turning Point USA is highlighting the infiltration of our educational institutions and halting the Chinese government in its tracks. We will locate, identify, and expose every school and professor that receives funding from the Chinese government. Michigan State University

<a href="https://education.msu.edu/te/PhD/Whos-Who/Doctoral-Students/">Alba Lamar </a>is a graduate student and instructor at Michigan State University. In a class prior to Thanksgiving 2016, Lamar taught students how to argue with conservative relatives about issues such as illegal immigration, refugees, and the Dakota Access Pipeline. Lamar also mocked Christians for not supporting taking in Middle Eastern refugees and said conservatives often come to their views through fear.

<a href="http://www.english.msu.edu/people/faculty/william-penn/">William Penn</a> teaches in the Creative Writing Program at Michigan State University. Penn was recorded complaining in one of his creative writing classes about “dead white Republicans” who “raped his country.” As a student videotaped his rant, Penn antagonized students and asked, “You look like you’re frowning. Are you frowning?”.

Dr. Dorinda Carter Andrews is a <a href="https://education.msu.edu/people/carter-andrews-dorinda/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chairperson and Professor</a> at Michigan State University in the College of Education. Her research interests include racial justice and educational equity. Dr. Andrews has published articles for many media outlets and journals and has given two <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3N23MXsow8" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TED Talks</a> in relation to critical race theory and racial gaps in education.

In an <a href="https://www.hourdetroit.com/education-schools/a-critical-race-theory-expert-on-how-something-benign-became-toxic/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">article for Hour Detroit</a>, Dr. Andrews accuses conservatives of “gaslighting” by being against critical race theory. Dr. Andrews alleges conservatives “cry CRT” any time an educator teaches something from America’s history that puts them in a “bad light,” even if it’s true. She goes on to insinuate that conservatives don’t want educators teaching black history at all.

In a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOrgf3wTUbo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TED Talk given in 2014</a>, Dr. Andrews discussed racial inequity in the education system. She argues that the education system was founded in white supremacy,  making it nearly impossible for students of color to get ahead. She claims that students of color and poor students are already behind the curve before they even step foot into the classroom, and it’s unfair to expect the same levels of success for them compared to white students.

Dr. Andrews is a critical race theorist who pushes anti-white rhetoric in the classroom. In her opinion, racism is so deeply embedded into our education system that students of color have no chance of getting ahead if critical race theory isn’t taught in the classroom. In her eyes, conservatives are only against critical race theory because they fear it paints them in a negative light.

<a href="https://www.csuchico.edu/hist/faculty/biographies/schwaller.shtml" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Shawn Schwaller</a> is a History Professor at <a href="https://www.csuchico.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">California State-Chico</a>. His notable courses cover topics including Chicanx and Latinx studies, US History, and American Indian studies. Dr. Schwaller has further served on the Ethnic Studies committee at the university and is thus tasked with determining which courses will fulfill California&#8217;s ethnic studies requirement.
Passed in July of 2020, California’s state university systems now <a href="https://www.calstate.edu/csu-system/board-of-trustees/past-meetings/2020/Documents/July-21-22-ED-POL-Binder.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">require all enrollees to complete one ethnic studies or social justice course in order to graduate</a>. The requirement will affect all <a href="https://www.calstate.edu/csu-system/about-the-csu" target="_blank" rel="noopener">23 campuses and nearly 500,000 students</a> in the California state university system.
<a href="https://amchainitiative.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/90-Groups-to-Gov-Newsom-8.13.20.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">90 Jewish and Pro-Israel groups </a>publically opposed the new academic requirements in a letter to Newsom. The letter—addressed to Governor Newsom, accuses the legislation of inciting “hatred and harm against pro-Israel students,” as anti-zionism and BDS is an “intrinsic part of Critical Ethnic Studies.”
A <a href="https://www.city-journal.org/california-ethnic-studies-programs-merchants-of-revolution" target="_blank" rel="noopener">similar bill was passed for California high schools</a> in March of 2021. Students will now be prevented from graduating unless they take courses that include “land acknowledgments” and lessons on <a href="https://www.city-journal.org/california-ethnic-studies-programs-merchants-of-revolution" target="_blank" rel="noopener">”decolonizing” students from capitalism, the patriarchy, and settler colonialism.</a>
Dr. Schwaller praises California&#8217;s mandate in an interview with a progressive radio station based in Redding, CA. At the 19-minute mark, he asserts the necessity <a href="http://apps.kcnr1460.com/media//podcasts//_2021-06-26.mp3" target="_blank" rel="noopener">for students to learn how our nation was founded on genocide and the constitution enshrined slavery</a>.
Further, in the same interview, Dr. Schwaller additionally details his use of the book, “<a href="https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/52048467-how-the-south-won-the-civil-war" target="_blank" rel="noopener">How the South Won the Civil War</a>,” in-class lectures. The author—Heather Cox Richardson—argues that modern conservative icons like Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan embody the “ideology of the confederacy.”
Dr. Schwaller’s commentary is featured across various platforms—most notably as a contributor for the Northern California-based ANewsCafe—<a href="https://anewscafe.com/author/shawn-schwaller/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> to further disparage conservatives as bigoted, violent, and homophobic</a>.
Much of his ire is directed towards political activists and Christians based in Northern California. Beginning in 2021, Dr. Schwaller began work on what will eventually be a 4-part series on the State of Jefferson. In what would become the 51st state, the State of Jefferson is campaigning—primarily supported by conservatives—<a href="https://soj51.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">to create a new state from primarily rural states in Northern California and Southern Oregon</a>.
Dr. Schwaller devotes much of his 3-part series to defame campaign operatives and conservatives at-large. In Part 1, he alleges that <a href="https://anewscafe.com/2021/04/14/redding/in-the-closet-of-jefferson-state-part-one-economic-social-realities-in-californias-pro-trump-successionist-far-north/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Trump supporters covet a “white, patriarchal” America</a>.

In Part 2, he cites the tragic murder of two gay men in Redding by a pair of white supremacists in order to implicate that <a href="https://anewscafe.com/2021/04/28/redding/in-the-closet-of-jefferson-state-part-2-homophobic-and-white-christian-supremacist-hate/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">conservatives and Christians are animated violent and homophobic</a> malice. Continuing, Dr. Schwaller demonizes guns as a “key component” of conservatives’ “toxic masculinity.” He again references the prior incident as proof that gun owners pose a direct threat to the gay community.

Dr. Schwaller continues to level these pejoratives at Christians, particularly at individuals associated with the Bethel Church in Redding, California. In multiple instances, he even designates Christians as deserving of the violence inflicted upon them by the anarchist group ANTIFA.
As<a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/dhs-leaked-email-confirms-that-antifa-is-an-organized-group" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> reported</a> by The Post-Millennial, leaked emails from the Department of Homeland Security show that law enforcement agencies identify ANTIFA as an organization that engages in “organized” rather than sporadic violence. Many<a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/dhs-leaked-email-confirms-that-antifa-is-an-organized-group" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> members arm themselves with knives and firearms</a> to violently confront conservatives at events. In the Summer of 2021, <a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/dhs-leaked-email-confirms-that-antifa-is-an-organized-group">members of ANTIFA brazenly attacked Senator Rand Paul and his wife</a> as they walked through Washington D.C.
In August of 2021, members of a Portland-based ANTIFA group forcefully shut down a Christian prayer rally, assaulting and macing attendees and their children in the process.

In his article, Dr. Schwaller not only downplays the violence but seeks to <a href="https://anewscafe.com/2021/08/12/redding/sean-feuchts-new-brand-of-bethel-church-inspired-radical-militant-christianity-on-display-in-portland/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">justify the attack, describing it as a response to “intensely violent rhetoric</a>” 0f a &#8220;white Christian supremacist&#8221; in attendance.
Dr. Schwaller again defends ANTIFA members present at the “Let Us Pray,” event in Washington D.C, <a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/dhs-leaked-email-confirms-that-antifa-is-an-organized-group" target="_blank" rel="noopener">describing their actions as “protesting” the “far-right, and white and Christian supremacist groups</a>.”
At the same rally, which attracted thousands of attendees and hosted numerous pastors, he <a href="https://anewscafe.com/2021/09/20/redding/sean-feucht-far-right-christians-descend-on-washington-d-c-for-september-11th-let-us-worship-event/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">mocked one speaker&#8217;s suggestion that North Korea persecuted Christians</a>. Responding to a statement by Pastor Che Ahn—a California- based pastor who was a featured speaker—Dr. Schwaller declares that it is a “myth” that North Korea persecutes members of the Christian Church.

Despite Dr. Schwaller’s denial, North Korea&#8217;s persecution<a href="https://www.christianitytoday.com/news/2020/december/north-korea-persecution-christians-human-rights-report-kfi.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> of Christians is well documented</a>. Koreans<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120813102840/http://www.christiantoday.com/article/new.reports.tell.of.executions.torture.of.christians.in.north.korea/4623-2.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> are routinely imprisoned and tortured by the government</a> for practicing their faith. Many have been <a href="https://nypost.com/2009/07/24/north-korea-executes-woman-for-giving-out-bibles/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">executed merely for passing out copies of the Bible</a>.

Briggs publicly identifies as an anarchist on her <a href="https://twitter.com/ChicoSexProf?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor">Twitter</a> profile and <a href="https://www.csuchico.edu/lgbtq/board/briggs.shtml">serves</a> as the Vice-Chair of the LGBTQ Faculty and Staff Association.

Already in opposition to the University Police Department, Briggs recently <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=15700">doxed a university police officer</a> over an alleged online feud by posting what appears to be the officer’s name, picture, number, and home address. She justified her actions by claiming (without evidence) that the officer was engaged in online harassment and encouraged her followers to share his address "widely with your networks." Briggs stated that it was “poor taste” for the officer to pose with a pro-police, "Thin Blue Line" poster, and claimed that the university police were white supremacists who routinely harass activists like herself. In the same post, Briggs included the image of an 8 year-old girl (whose face has been blurred for her privacy) who had made the poster for the officer.

Briggs previously posted an anti-police photo on her Instagram depicting a steam roller running over cops and included the hashtag #acab, or “all cops are bastards.”

In the past, Briggs has attracted attention for her vitriol towards students. She <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/professor-publicly-slurs-student-shitty-questioning-alternative-gender-identities/">once lashed out at the author </a>of an op-ed in Chico's student newspaper that <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20170513155159/https://theorion.com/65496/opinion/debunking-gsec-myths/">attempted to counter to statistics</a> offered by the university’s Gender and Sexuality Equity Center (of which Briggs serves on the advisory board) on issues such as the prevalence of sexual assault on campus. Rather than addressing the points raised by the article, Briggs attacked the student who authored the piece, Roberto Fonseca, as “repugnant” and accused him of committing violence through hate speech. In a Facebook post, she continued to personally attack Fonseca and encouraged others to call the paper's editor to protest to the piece.

Briggs has also <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=14103">referred to the conservative students</a> on Chico’s campus as “white supremacists” <a href="https://editor.des05.com/vo/?FileID=87f607ed-172e-479a-a992-ee3d0c9c9e64&amp;m=0def7e64-45d4-484b-bea3-4f89ce14357e&amp;MailID=38505689&amp;listid=109281&amp;RecipientID=18697486834&amp;fbclid=IwAR3HaLwB2jFo5dvD9TfWguivmQ3mmR58gJfp5K1gun4p6aiVMGbR1r68LHA">in a signed letter</a> from the local chapter of the California Faculty Association, of which she serves as a <a href="https://www.calfac.org/post/department-representatives-spring-2019">department representative. </a>

<a href="https://www.csuchico.edu/hist/faculty/biographies/schwaller.shtml" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Shawn Schwaller</a> is a History Professor at <a href="https://www.csuchico.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">California State-Chico</a>. His notable courses cover topics including Chicanx and Latinx studies, US History, and American Indian studies. Dr. Schwaller has further served on the Ethnic Studies committee at the university and is thus tasked with determining which courses will fulfill California's ethnic studies requirement.

Passed in July of 2020, California’s state university systems now <a href="https://www.calstate.edu/csu-system/board-of-trustees/past-meetings/2020/Documents/July-21-22-ED-POL-Binder.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">require all enrollees to complete one ethnic studies or social justice course in order to graduate</a>. The requirement will affect all <a href="https://www.calstate.edu/csu-system/about-the-csu" target="_blank" rel="noopener">23 campuses and nearly 500,000 students</a> in the California state university system.

<a href="https://amchainitiative.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/90-Groups-to-Gov-Newsom-8.13.20.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">90 Jewish and Pro-Israel groups </a>publically opposed the new academic requirements in a letter to Newsom. The letter—addressed to Governor Newsom, accuses the legislation of inciting “hatred and harm against pro-Israel students,” as anti-zionism and BDS is an “intrinsic part of Critical Ethnic Studies.”

A <a href="https://www.city-journal.org/california-ethnic-studies-programs-merchants-of-revolution" target="_blank" rel="noopener">similar bill was passed for California high schools</a> in March of 2021. Students will now be prevented from graduating unless they take courses that include “land acknowledgments” and lessons on <a href="https://www.city-journal.org/california-ethnic-studies-programs-merchants-of-revolution" target="_blank" rel="noopener">”decolonizing” students from capitalism, the patriarchy, and settler colonialism.</a>

Dr. Schwaller praises California's mandate in an interview with a progressive radio station based in Redding, CA. At the 19-minute mark, he asserts the necessity <a href="http://apps.kcnr1460.com/media//podcasts//_2021-06-26.mp3" target="_blank" rel="noopener">for students to learn how our nation was founded on genocide and the constitution enshrined slavery</a>.

Further, in the same interview, Dr. Schwaller additionally details his use of the book, “<a href="https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/52048467-how-the-south-won-the-civil-war" target="_blank" rel="noopener">How the South Won the Civil War</a>,” in-class lectures. The author—Heather Cox Richardson—argues that modern conservative icons like Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan embody the “ideology of the confederacy.”

Dr. Schwaller’s commentary is featured across various platforms—most notably as a contributor for the Northern California-based ANewsCafe—<a href="https://anewscafe.com/author/shawn-schwaller/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> to further disparage conservatives as bigoted, violent, and homophobic</a>.

Much of his ire is directed towards political activists and Christians based in Northern California. Beginning in 2021, Dr. Schwaller began work on what will eventually be a 4-part series on the State of Jefferson. In what would become the 51st state, the State of Jefferson is campaigning—primarily supported by conservatives—<a href="https://soj51.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">to create a new state from primarily rural states in Northern California and Southern Oregon</a>.

Dr. Schwaller devotes much of his 3-part series to defame campaign operatives and conservatives at-large. In Part 1, he alleges that <a href="https://anewscafe.com/2021/04/14/redding/in-the-closet-of-jefferson-state-part-one-economic-social-realities-in-californias-pro-trump-successionist-far-north/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Trump supporters covet a “white, patriarchal” America</a>.

In Part 2, he cites the tragic murder of two gay men in Redding by a pair of white supremacists in order to implicate that <a href="https://anewscafe.com/2021/04/28/redding/in-the-closet-of-jefferson-state-part-2-homophobic-and-white-christian-supremacist-hate/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">conservatives and Christians are animated violent and homophobic</a> malice. Continuing, Dr. Schwaller demonizes guns as a “key component” of conservatives’ “toxic masculinity.” He again references the prior incident as proof that gun owners pose a direct threat to the gay community.

Dr. Schwaller continues to level these pejoratives at Christians, particularly at individuals associated with the Bethel Church in Redding, California. In multiple instances, he even designates Christians as deserving of the violence inflicted upon them by the anarchist group ANTIFA.

As<a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/dhs-leaked-email-confirms-that-antifa-is-an-organized-group" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> reported</a> by The Post-Millennial, leaked emails from the Department of Homeland Security show that law enforcement agencies identify ANTIFA as an organization that engages in “organized” rather than sporadic violence. Many<a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/dhs-leaked-email-confirms-that-antifa-is-an-organized-group" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> members arm themselves with knives and firearms</a> to violently confront conservatives at events. In the Summer of 2021, <a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/dhs-leaked-email-confirms-that-antifa-is-an-organized-group">members of ANTIFA brazenly attacked Senator Rand Paul and his wife</a> as they walked through Washington D.C.

In August of 2021, members of a Portland-based ANTIFA group forcefully shut down a Christian prayer rally, assaulting and macing attendees and their children in the process.

In his article, Dr. Schwaller not only downplays the violence but seeks to <a href="https://anewscafe.com/2021/08/12/redding/sean-feuchts-new-brand-of-bethel-church-inspired-radical-militant-christianity-on-display-in-portland/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">justify the attack, describing it as a response to “intensely violent rhetoric</a>” 0f a "white Christian supremacist" in attendance.

Dr. Schwaller again defends ANTIFA members present at the “Let Us Pray,” event in Washington D.C, <a href="https://thepostmillennial.com/dhs-leaked-email-confirms-that-antifa-is-an-organized-group" target="_blank" rel="noopener">describing their actions as “protesting” the “far-right, and white and Christian supremacist groups</a>.”

At the same rally, which attracted thousands of attendees and hosted numerous pastors, he <a href="https://anewscafe.com/2021/09/20/redding/sean-feucht-far-right-christians-descend-on-washington-d-c-for-september-11th-let-us-worship-event/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">mocked one speaker's suggestion that North Korea persecuted Christians</a>. Responding to a statement by Pastor Che Ahn—a California- based pastor who was a featured speaker—Dr. Schwaller declares that it is a “myth” that North Korea persecutes members of the Christian Church.

Despite Dr. Schwaller’s denial, North Korea's persecution<a href="https://www.christianitytoday.com/news/2020/december/north-korea-persecution-christians-human-rights-report-kfi.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> of Christians is well documented</a>. Koreans<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20120813102840/http://www.christiantoday.com/article/new.reports.tell.of.executions.torture.of.christians.in.north.korea/4623-2.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> are routinely imprisoned and tortured by the government</a> for practicing their faith. Many have been <a href="https://nypost.com/2009/07/24/north-korea-executes-woman-for-giving-out-bibles/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">executed merely for passing out copies of the Bible</a>.

Dr. <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/ethnicstudies/people/core-faculty/jennifer-ho">Jennifer Ho</a> is a Professor of Asian American Studies and Director of the Center for Humanities &amp; the Arts at the University of Colorado-Boulder. According to her university <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/ethnicstudies/people/core-faculty/jennifer-ho">biography</a>, Professor Ho’s research interests include cultural studies, intersectionality, critical race studies, anti-racist theory, and critical mixed race studies.
Critical Theory, or Critical Race Theory, is an intellectual branch of Marxism that alleges American society and all of its founding institutions are infected with white supremacy. Furthermore, proponents of Critical Race Theory believe that people should take proactive steps to dismantle these institutions in the name of equity, which is also referred to as being “anti-racist.” Some Critical Race Theorists, such as Nikole Hannah-Jones, also <a href="https://reason.com/2020/09/23/1619-project-nikole-hannah-jones-1776-founding-race-new-york-times/">claim</a> that America’s real founding was in 1619 when the first slave stepped foot in North America, and not 1776 when the American colonies declared independence from England.
In an <a href="https://theconversation.com/white-supremacy-is-the-root-of-all-race-related-violence-in-the-us-157566">article</a> for The Conversation, titled, “White Supremacy is the Root of all race-related violence in the US,” Professor Ho alleges that all hate crimes committed in the United States are the result of white supremacy. Dr. <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/ethnicstudies/people/core-faculty/jennifer-ho">Jennifer Ho</a> is a Professor of Asian American Studies and Director of the Center for Humanities &amp; the Arts at the University of Colorado-Boulder. According to her university <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/ethnicstudies/people/core-faculty/jennifer-ho">biography</a>, Professor Ho’s research interests include cultural studies, intersectionality, critical race studies, anti-racist theory, and critical mixed race studies.

Critical Theory, or Critical Race Theory, is an intellectual branch of Marxism that alleges American society and all of its founding institutions are infected with white supremacy. Furthermore, proponents of Critical Race Theory believe that people should take proactive steps to dismantle these institutions in the name of equity, which is also referred to as being “anti-racist.” Some Critical Race Theorists, such as Nikole Hannah-Jones, also <a href="https://reason.com/2020/09/23/1619-project-nikole-hannah-jones-1776-founding-race-new-york-times/">claim</a> that America’s real founding was in 1619 when the first slave stepped foot in North America, and not 1776 when the American colonies declared independence from England.

<a href="https://www.colorado.edu/ethnicstudies/people/core-faculty/reiland-rabaka" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Reiland Rabaka</a> is a Professor of Africana Studies as well as Critical Race, Class, Gender, and Sexuality Studies in the <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/ethnicstudies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Department of Ethnic Studies</a> at the <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">University of Colorado at Boulder</a>. He also serves as <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/humanities/reiland-rabaka" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Professor of Humanities</a> in the <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/artsandsciences/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">College of Arts and Sciences</a>.

Dr. Rabaka identifies publicly as a “democratic socialist” and a scholar of fields such as “black radical politics,” decolonial theory, and critical race theory. His lectures depict the United States as an inherently white-supremacist nation and herald the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement as a necessary counter to systematic racism.

In a video sponsored by the university, Dr. Rabaka describes American society as having <a href="https://www.coursera.org/lecture/antiracism-2/dr-reiland-rabaka-interventions-in-racist-terminologies-qp12a" target="_blank" rel="noopener">culminated in the “social, economic, spiritual, and cultural” death of black people</a>. He attributes this to our nation's alleged addiction to “black death.”

He repeated this accusation during a lecture for Florida Gulf Coast University’s <a href="https://www.fgcu.edu/ccres/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Center for Critical Race and Ethnic Studies</a>. During the event—hosted by professor and the Center Director, <a href="https://www.fgcu.edu/directory/tthornhill">Dr. Ted Thornill</a>—Dr. Rabaka <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsS6RAfiesI&amp;ab_channel=FGCUUniversityMarketingCommunications" target="_blank" rel="noopener">characterizes the nation as a “colonial project” that was built on racial and economic enslavement</a>.

Dr. Rabaka addresses BLM at length during the Q&amp;A section, characterizing the movement as a response to the nation’s “deeply entrenched racism.” At one point, a member of the audience asks Dr. Rabaka how he would respond if BLM was characterized as a terrorist organization; Rather than answer the question, he proceeds to deflect and counter that Christopher Columbus should be considered a terrorist for committing a “holocaust” against Native Americans. He denounces both the Founding Fathers and Pilgrims in his tirade, accusing each of participating in “racial terrorism.”

Continuing, he urges “white administrators” to invest in BLM-themed curriculums and workshops in order to raise consciousness about the movement. Dr. Rabaka <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/asmagazine/2021/03/02/black-lives-matter-course-aims-foster-campus-transformation" target="_blank" rel="noopener">personally teaches a BLM-themed course at UC-Boulder</a>.

BLM was <a href="https://blacklivesmatter.com/six-years-strong/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">founded following the death</a> of Treyvon Martin and the acquittal of George Zimmerman for his murder. Although purporting to be a civil-rights organization, the movement has been tied to violent confrontations and riots across the country.

According to a <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">study conducted by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED)</a>, BLM can be linked to 95% of the riots around the country–notably in Summer 2020 following the death of George Floyd. In an analysis of the study, <a href="https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/16/study-up-to-95-percent-of-2020-u-s-riots-are-linked-to-black-lives-matter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Federalist</a> found, “of the 633 incidents coded as riots, 88 percent are recorded as involving Black Lives Matter Activists.” The resulting riots were the largest in American history, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/#:~:text=Only%20now%20are%20we%20beginning,%241%20billion%20to%20%242%20billion." target="_blank" rel="noopener">causing an estimated $2 billion in damages and 47 deaths.</a>

Throughout his lecture, Dr. Rabaka praises Angela Davis and Assata Shakur, whose work he considers instrumental to the BLM movement. Shakur is a former <a href="https://spectatorworld.com/topic/black-lives-matter-praising-terrorist-assata-shakur/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">member of the Black Liberation Army and convicted cop killer</a>. She currently resides in Cuba as a guest of the communist government; authorities have offered 2 million dollars for her capture.

Angela Davis is a former vice-presidential candidate for the Communist Party and early member of the Black Panther Party. Davis is notoriously known for <a href="https://archives.frontpagemag.com/fpm/hollywoods-undying-love-communist-angela-davis-arnold-ahlert/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">her role in the Marin County Civic Center Attack, which left 4 dead</a>.

Another individual Dr. Rabaka praises in his lecture is scholar W.E.B Du Bois. A prominent author at the turn of the 20th century, Du Bois was a life-long adherent to communism, going <a href="https://www.marxists.org/reference/archive/stalin/biographies/1953/03/16.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">so far as to eulogize Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin after his death in 1953</a>.

In a separate lecture at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Reiland+Rabaka+" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Rabaka lauds Du Bois specifically for his contributions to socialism</a>. At one point, the professor displays pictures of Du Bois meeting with Nikita Khrushchev and Mao Zedong, hailing both as proof of Du Bois international standing.

<a href="https://www.britannica.com/biography/Mao-Zedong">Mao</a>—who chaired the Chinese Communist Party from 1935 until his death in 1976—is widely considered one of the deadliest heads of state in history–<a href="https://www.heritage.org/asia/commentary/the-legacy-mao-zedong-mass-murder" target="_blank" rel="noopener">an estimated 65 million Chinese perished from his regime</a>. Mao's deadliest campaign—referred to as the “Great Leap Forward”—<a href="https://www.hudson.org/research/7342-mao-s-great-leap-forward-and-the-power-of-history" target="_blank" rel="noopener">caused an estimated 40 million to die from starvation and overwork in labor camps</a>.

<a href="https://www.religion.ucsb.edu/people/faculty/rudy-busto/">Rudy Busto </a>is an Associate Professor at the University of California - Santa Barbara. His work is described as examining how “race structures state and civil society” and how the concept of race structures religion. 

As reported by <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=14987">Campus Reform</a>, Busto recently gave a lengthy presentation to one of his classes at the end of the semester in which he explained in detail why he believes that America is not an exceptional nation. He declared that “history has dispelled the notion of American Exceptionalism,” Busto listed off the reasons why he believed that America was no longer exceptional, including losing the Vietnam War and the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

<a href="https://www.religion.ucsb.edu/people/student/timothy-snediker/">Timothy Snediker</a> works in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He first rose to notoriety for tweeting about his desire to assassinate Jesus Christ.

Snediker’s animosity towards Christ stems from his belief that the concepts of the individual and capitalism, both of which he opposes, arose out of Christianity during the enlightenment in Europe.

In the <a href="http://jcrt.org/religioustheory/2016/05/18/theodicy-of-money-the-scene-and-subject-of-forgiveness/">Theodicy of Money - The Scene of and Subject Forgiveness</a>, Snediker writes:

“Against the standard left critique of capitalism, which presupposes a certain secularism and a certain atheism, one must rather grapple with the peculiar verve of a comment made by Giorgio Agamben: “God did not die; he was transformed into money...To the identity of Christianity and capitalism corresponds the identity of God and money….Today, it is simply not enough to be an atheist, because, in the last instance, everyone believes in money." 

As written in <a href="https://jcrt.org/archives/14.1/snediker.pdf">The Autonomy of the Now</a>, he further expands on his position:

“Our hypothesis is that, under the brutal conditions of global capitalist hegemony, resistance necessitates the affirmation of the intrinsic instability and artificiality of identity…”

“...resistance to power necessitates a two-fold refusal of the authority and sovereignty of both Christianity and Secularism…”

“Secularization is the strategic means by which the West (which is to say, Christendom, or European colonialism, or, simply, Christianity) effects its accumulations, its appropriations, and its dominations.....Christianity’s hegemony has not waned; it has metamorphosed and Metastasized."

“Christianity is the identitarian religion par excellence: it ceaselessly works to individualize, legitimate and commoditize one’s identity....this is how Christianity was constituted as a privileged instrument of power”

“Resistance to power necessitates, therefore, a restoration of the autonomy of the now, which in turn requires a two-fold counter-strategy: one the one hand, an acceptance of the instability of identity and the concurrent affirmation of our becoming-other; on the other hand, a refusal of power, which, in the era of global capitalism amounts to a critique of the secular, or, again, a critique of Christianity. “

"Our imperative is to join the struggle for subjectivity, to struggle to speak truthfully about ourselves, to discover that relation to the outside which allows us, in accordance with Nietzsche’s injunction, to become what we are—to become, in a word, anti-Christian."

Snediker’s vitriol towards Christianity exploded when asked what he would do if he could travel 2000 years back in time, he <a href="https://twitter.com/realBenLeBlanc/status/1287809540373778434">tweeted</a>:

“Easy. I would find and assassinate Jesus of Nazareth.” 

He then proceeded to double-down, tweeting:

“Theologically speaking, it would be really important to get him before his calling and ministry begins, so that gives me roughly a decade to make it to Palestine, locate the man, and make my move. I don’t want to be the heroic Judas avant la lettre”

<a href="https://www.linguistics.ucsb.edu/people/mary-bucholtz" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Mary Bucholtz</a> is a Professor of Linguistics at the University of California - Santa Barbara. Dr. Bucholtz’s areas of specialization include race, language, gender, sexuality, and African American English in California. She teaches larger, Gen-Ed courses for non-linguistic majors and is the author of “<a href="https://www.amazon.com/White-Kids-Language-Styles-Identity/dp/0521692040" target="_blank" rel="noopener">White Kids: Language, Race and Styles of Youth Identity</a>. “

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Kx-LdeZ3EY" target="_blank" rel="noopener">In a lecture recorded in 2020</a> for the Linguistic Society for America, Dr. Bucholtz announced that she is “passionate about dismantling racism and white supremacy in linguistics” during a lecture on racial equity. She began the lecture with a Native American “land acknowledgment” and characterized herself as a white, cis female-identifying person who is a “racist in recovery.”

Dr. Bucholtz ended her portion of the lecture by arguing that white students devalue inclusivity because they are uncomfortable with losing their place of privilege. She told teachers that they will need to be ready to “push back against their pushback”.

Alex Vitale is a <a href="https://www.brooklyn.cuny.edu/web/news/faculty-experts/vitale-alex.php" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Professor of Sociology</a> and Coordinator of the Policing and Social Justice Project at the University of Brooklyn in New York City. His areas of expertise include sociology, policing, public safety, crime, and alternatives to incarceration. He has also penned two books and often writes for publications such as The New York Times, Daily News, and USA Today.
A subject Dr. Vitale discusses often is his disdain for the police. In March of 2020, Dr. Vitale <a href="https://www.hks.harvard.edu/centers/wiener/programs/criminaljustice/news-events/reimagining8-alex-vitale" target="_blank" rel="noopener">delivered a speech at Harvard Kennedy School </a>about the benefits of abolishing police departments. In his lecture, he accuses the institution of policing of being systemically racist. He alleges that public education and free drug treatment will combat the war on drugs better than the police. In his opinion, these things will “actually reduce the harm of drugs… in a way that is directly the opposite of turning the problem over to police.”

<a href="http://www.brooklyn.cuny.edu/web/academics/faculty/faculty_profile.jsp?faculty=441">Laurie Rubel</a> is a professor of Secondary Education at Brooklyn College in New York. According to her university biography, Rubel’s research is focused on equity in mathematics education and the use of real-world urban contexts in the teaching of mathematics.

Much of Rubel’s work is devoted to contending that white supremacy is embedded in many aspects of this country and everyday life - from the nation’s founding, to dislike of the WNBA.

Rubel’s views drew <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=15409">wide-spread attention</a> after she suggested in a <a href="https://twitter.com/Laurie_Rubel/status/1290554158421073920">tweet</a> that teaching that math “reeks” of white supremacy.

Her tweet was not designed to be hyperbolic in any sense. Rubel believes that white supremacy is firmly ingrained in subjects like math, and regularly reinforced in the classroom. As the co-author of <a href="https://www.researchgate.net/publication/331982850_The_Soft_Bigotry_of_Low_Expectations_And_Its_Role_in_Maintaining_White_Supremacy_through_Mathematics_Education">The Soft Bigotry of Low Expectations</a>, Rubel posits that white people have developed a racial and structural advantage in education that is consistently maintained through the teaching of mathematics. She believes that concepts like suggesting America is a meritocracy, or the idea that individuals are rewarded for hard work are inherently racist towards black students. White supremacy is no more evident, she claims, than through the ideas of “meritocracy” and “color blindness”:

“...the rhetoric of meritocracy implies that success results from hard work or talent and is not a function of the myriad of institutional structures that mediate opportunities and distribute rewards according to race and social background.”    

“Colorblindness, or the avoidance of or denial of signifying students' races in curriculum, classrooms, and schools, ignores the causes and impact of enduring racial stratification.”  

Rubel’s central thesis is that both “tools of whiteness” and subjects like math effectively disenfranchise students of color. Her argument is that racial disparities in students' scores are not because of behavior, but due to systematic racism and society’s tendency to attribute poor performance to the former, and resultant refusal to latter, reinforces a system of oppression.

As if anticipating the forthcoming criticism, she alleges that critiques of her position are emblematic of racism itself. Rubel states that her critics are “blame shifting” and attempting to ignore blatant white supremacy,

“One way that white supremacists counter critiques of racism is through a tactic known as “blame-shifting.” This tactic is a self-defense maneuver in which the white supremacists defend themselves against the charge of racism by shifting that charge onto the critique itself.” 

Commenting on Twitter, she claimed that she was a victim of “white-nationalists” criticizing her views.

While taking a soon apparent shot at our nation’s borders, she further elaborates on this by employing queer theory in, “<a href="https://www.researchgate.net/publication/340000097_Queering_Mathematics_Disrupting_Binary_Oppositions_in_Mathematics_Pre-service_Teacher_Education">Queering Mathematics</a>.”  <a href="https://www.oxfordreference.com/view/10.1093/oi/authority.20110803100358573">Queer theory</a> is an outgrowth of critical race theory, that seeks to deconstruct traditional standards of sexuality and gender in the West.

Rubel states that queer theory can be used to deconstruct or “queer” borders that both exist between countries and within classrooms and mathematics, as both are the “site of physical, social, and cultural marginalization.” To Rubel, one example of a border is the genders assigned to students,

“Conventional borders around sex, gender, and sexuality maintain these forms of marginalization and oppression that often leads to violence in schools.”

In addition to racism, she claims that toxic masculinity is inherent in mathematics, rendering it inaccessible for women:

“The masculinization of mathematics can be understood as an exclusionary border for girls and women...because to choose to participate in mathematics means to be comfortable and to welcome participating and performing in a masculine space.”

Rational and objective thinking are derided as purely “masculine” as well. The reliance on “binary thinking” (or what is right or wrong) that is inherent in mathematics is claimed by Rubel to reinforce “borders,” between race and gender.

In order to deconstruct math and its borders, Rubel advocates “queering” math to address more social justice issues. She hopes by dismantling math, the subject will be moved away from concepts like the existence of “only one right answer” and towards more subjective “lived experiences” of students.

Rubel is very open about communicating her politics in the classroom, as it is evidenced by her tweets admitting so. When asked in a tweet what her optimal classrooms look like, Rubel revealed that she lectures her students that police regularly execute black Americans while on duty.

In an academic paper titled, “<a href="https://www.researchgate.net/publication/336769522_Classrooms_as_Laboratories_of_Democracy_for_Social_Transformation_The_Role_of_Data_Literacy">Classrooms as Laboratories of Democracy for Social Transformation</a>,” she asserts that classrooms can be used to imbed left-wing issues into her students:

“...we outlined where data literacy is part of a collective movement toward transformation and social change.” 

Another aspect of Rubel’s envisioned social transformation is the redefining of words that she disapproves of.

She is also an Adjunct Professor in African American &amp; Diaspora Studies in the School of Culture, Gender, and Social Justice. Dr. Patton’s courses include Race, Gender, Ethnicity &amp; the Media and Rhetoric and Social Justice. According to her bio, her work is “strongly influenced by critical theory and womanist theory.”
In an article for the <a href="https://www.wyomingpublicmedia.org/open-spaces/2021-10-15/university-of-wyoming-professor-says-the-legacy-of-jim-crow-still-remains-in-america" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wyoming Public Media</a>, Dr. Patton discussed how the legacy of Jim Crow is still in America. She discussed that, while perhaps it wasn’t in an official or formal sense, “it can be within that lived experience of segregation that we sometimes find ourselves in as we are living in segregated communities.” She goes on to discuss how African Americans tend to live in more urban areas while white people live in suburbs, which she compares to a modern-day version of segregation and Jim Crow.

<a href="https://ethnicstudies.berkeley.edu/people/hatem-bazian/">Hatem Bazian</a> is a professor of Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. He is the <a href="https://zaytuna.edu/academics/faculty/hatem-bazian">co-founder and assistant professor </a>at Zaytuna College, which is the only accredited American college in which the curriculum is based on Islamic fundamentals. Bazian’s resume is littered with antisemitic and pro-terror incidents, both on and off-campus.

When attending San Francisco State University, Bazian accused the student newspaper of being <a href="https://www.meforum.org/campus-watch/19590/profiles-in-hate-hatem-bazian">infiltrated by “Jewish spies</a>,” and allegedly denied Jewish students jobs while serving as Student Body President, claiming their support of Israel exhibited their racism.

Bazian’s activism grew more militant with time. At an Islamic conference in 1999, he was quoted by the Detroit Free Press reciting an Islamic Hadith <a href="https://www.meforum.org/campus-watch/8865/hatem-bazian-personal-story">calling for the slaughter of Jews</a>.

After 79 members of Students for Justice in Palestine were arrested for disrupting a Holocaust memorial, Bazian asserted that the university's actions were racially motivated. During the subsequently organized protests, Bazain <a href="https://www.jweekly.com/2018/10/22/berkeley-city-councils-shameful-tolerance-of-anti-semitism/">insinuated that powerful Jews controlled the University and orchestrated the arrests</a>.

Bazian’s thinly veiled antisemitism is seamlessly <a href="https://canarymission.org/professor/Hatem_Bazian">interlaced with his anti-Israel demagoguery</a>. A proponent of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement,  Bazian has called for the dismantlement of the state of Israel and has praised the terrorist group Hamas. Bazian <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mfv5yaKxNgo&amp;ab_channel=HamasOnCampus">openly called for a domestic insurrection</a> within America. Calling the crowd to arms at a 2003 anti-war rally, Bazian called for an “Intifada” to start in America.

The Intifada was then in the midst of its third year of blood-soaked carnage in Israel. Before it abated in 2006, <a href="https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/comprehensive-listing-of-terrorism-victims-in-israel">over one thousand men, women, and children would perish</a> from sniper fire and suicide attacks on buses, markets, and restaurants. The most gruesome attacks included the <a href="https://www.algemeiner.com/2020/10/26/what-the-ramallah-lynchings-taught-us-about-palestinian-incitement/">public lynching and disembowelment of two Israeli soldiers</a>, and the <a href="https://www.jpost.com/arab-israeli-conflict/18-years-after-sbarro-suicide-attack-pa-has-paid-910823-to-the-culprits-598106">bombing of a Sbarro pizzeria</a>, killing 15 civilians, including 7 children and a pregnant woman.

Extending to the classroom and beyond, Bazian has co-founded two anti-Israel groups: <a href="https://canarymission.org/organization/SJP">Students for Justice in Palestine</a> (SJP), and American Muslims for Palestine (AMP).

Bazian co-founded SJP with fellow professor <a href="https://professorwatchlist.org/professor/snehalshingavi">Snehal Shingavi</a> in 2001 in solidarity with Palestinian groups, as the Intifada raged in Israel. The group is known for its belligerent tactics and hostility towards Jewish and pro-Israel students on campus. SJP openly calls for the destruction of Israel and has never been shy about their support for Hamas. <a href="https://canarymission.org/individual/Azka_Fayyaz">A student senator and member of SJP</a> at UC Davis <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/new-film-depicts-jewish-students-growing-insecurity-on-campus/">welcomed “Hamas and sharia law"</a> to campus.

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SF2qAJl65k&amp;ab_channel=CanaryMission">American Muslims for Palestine</a>, of which Bazian serves as Chairman, is rooted in the now-defunct Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP). Facing scrutiny by the federal government over its ties to overseas jihadist groups, IAP ceased operations in 2003 to avoid prosecution. Many of the staff then <a href="https://docs.house.gov/meetings/FA/FA18/20160419/104817/HHRG-114-FA18-Wstate-SchanzerJ-20160419.pdf">reconstituted under the new banner of AMP with Bazian as Chairman</a>. Screenshots from IAP’s former website show that the group openly encouraged Islamic terrorism and what can only be described as ethnic cleansing of Jews.

Bazian is a tenured professor at one of the world’s most prestigious colleges. Tens of thousands of students have passed through his classroom while accruing many thousands more in debt, over his many decades in academia. His radicalism isn’t hidden—Bazian has openly embraced and preached the most radical, violent, and bigoted positions imaginable and sought to inspire future leaders with those same values.

<a href="https://www.law.berkeley.edu/our-faculty/faculty-profiles/john-powell/">John A. Powell</a> is a Professor of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. During a<a href="http://www.whiteprivilegeconference.com/"> White Privilege Conference</a>, Powell was caught on film saying that the Bush Administration deliberately took money away from strengthening the levees during Hurricane Katrina because the levees were protecting black people.

<a href="https://vcresearch.berkeley.edu/faculty/nancy-scheper-hughes">Nancy Scheper-Hughes</a> is the Chancellor’s Professor Emerita in the Department of Anthropology at the University of California, Berkely. Her university biography <a href="https://vcresearch.berkeley.edu/faculty/nancy-scheper-hughes">states</a> that Scheper-Hughes approaches her work through a “politically engaged perspective” to examine “structural and political violence.”

Anti-Second Amendment 
Immediately following the Pulse nightclub shooting, in which a Muslim man who pledged allegiance to ISIS <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/US/multiple-injuries-shooting-orlando-nightclub-police/story?id=39789552">entered Pulse, a gay nightclub, and opened fire, killing 50 individuals</a>, Scheper-Hughes <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20160621134259/http://blogs.berkeley.edu/2016/06/19/radical-evil-a-reflection-on-the-orlando-massacre/">published</a> an article on the Berkeley Blog, a university website, to reflect on the events of the previous evening, titled, Radical evil: A reflection on the Orlando massacre.

In her article, Hughes <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20160621134259/http://blogs.berkeley.edu/2016/06/19/radical-evil-a-reflection-on-the-orlando-massacre/">describes</a> the Pulse nightclub as a “sacred space” that was attacked by a man she describes as “radically evil.” However, she then blames the killings on hate speech of the “trumpers'' and the <a href="https://home.nra.org/">National Rifle Association</a>.

Referring to the Second Amendment in the post, Scheper-Hughes <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20160621134259/http://blogs.berkeley.edu/2016/06/19/radical-evil-a-reflection-on-the-orlando-massacre/">states</a> that we have “failed as a democracy” to let “one amendment trump” all other amendments, leading to killings like the one in Orlando. She alleges that massacres throughout American history are typically committed by “orthodox conservatives” that suffer from a "perversity of heart."

Censorship
In mid-2017, the Berkely College Republicans <a href="https://twitter.com/BerkeleyCRs/status/884816647546064896">announced</a> on the group's Twitter account that they would host popular commentator Ben Shapiro. In an article for the website, CounterPunch, Scheper-Hughes <a href="https://www.counterpunch.org/2017/09/13/the-great-wall-of-uc-berkeley-vs-baby-face-shapiro/">decries</a> the decision to host Shapiro at the university, describing him as a “smart aleck, wisecracking, racist, sexist, misogynist, Islamophobic jerk.” She goes on to describe Shapiro as a “very dangerous, extremely controversial, physical threat” to Berkeley’s student body.

Scheper-Hughes further <a href="https://www.counterpunch.org/2017/09/13/the-great-wall-of-uc-berkeley-vs-baby-face-shapiro/">describes</a> Ben Shapiro in her article as a member of the “alt-light” that engages in hate speech. Hughes states that the First Amendment is a “work in progress” and that the amendment is “ignorant” and inadequately able to combat “hate speech.”

While acknowledging that the university is “stuck” with the protections that the First Amendment affords Ben Shapiro, Scheper-Hughes implies that free speech can be regulated to ban hate speech.

<a href="https://jewishstudies.berkeley.edu/people/ron-hendel/">Dr. Ronald Hendel</a> is a Professor of the Hebrew Bible and Jewish Studies at the University of California-Berkeley. At the beginning of Hendel’s class, titled “Jewish Civilization I: The Biblical Period,” he told students not to take his class if they think the Bible is infallible. After one student started questioning and challenging him, Hendel told the student “If you disagree with the approach we use, that’s an F.”

<a href="https://polisci.berkeley.edu/people/person/andrew-little">Dr. Andrew Little</a> is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of California in Berkeley. According to his university <a href="https://vcresearch.berkeley.edu/faculty/andrew-little">biography</a>, Dr. Little’s research focuses on authoritarian politics, communication and information manipulation, and conflict.

While working as a professor at Cornell University, Dr. Little vocally opposed the hiring of conservative professors by the university. In an interview with The Cornell Daily Sun in October 2015, he stated that <a href="https://cornellsun.com/2015/10/15/cornell-faculty-donations-flood-left%E2%80%88filings-show/">the quality of research and academic integrity would suffer if universities hired conservative professors</a>.

In the same article, titled “Cornell Faculty Donations Flood Left, Filings Show,” reporters for the Cornell Daily Sun <a href="https://cornellsun.com/2015/10/15/cornell-faculty-donations-flood-left%E2%80%88filings-show/">note</a> that over 96% of the political donations of Cornell staff went to Democrats and only 4% were donated to Republican candidates.

<a href="http://rhetoric.berkeley.edu/faculty-profile/james-i-porter-1">Dr. James Porter</a>, a Professor of Rhetoric at the University of California, Berkely and formerly of the University of California, Irvine, was one of 60 professors who supported the ban of the American flag from an "inclusive" area at UC Irvine. He signed a letter claiming that the American flag is a symbol of nationalism and racism.

<a href="https://ethnicstudies.berkeley.edu/people/ramon-grosfoguel-1/">Ramon Grosfoguel</a> is an associate professor of Chicano and Latino Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. According to his university biography, Grosfoguel also specializes in decoloniality and the study of Islamophobia.

Grosfoguel is notable for his vocal opposition to the state of Israel and support for BDS. In an <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bu1PCTNGgB8&amp;ab_channel=IHRCtv">interview</a> with the Islamic Human Rights Commission during Al-Quds Day (an <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/on-quds-day-irans-leader-says-zionism-a-virus-that-must-be-eliminated/">Iranian holiday</a> dedicated to the destruction of Israel) not only did he claim that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians, but that Israel is a threat to peace across the world. Grosfoguel claimed that Israel is infiltrating nations and aligning itself with openly fascist organizations in order to strangle freedom of speech.

Grosfoguel also claims that Jews <a href="https://www.okcir.com/Articles%20VII%202/Grosfoguel-FM.pdf">cynically use the Holocaust</a> to elicit sympathy from the world in order to commit atrocities against Arabs;

“The simplistic identity politics of the Holocaust hegemonic narrative that essentialized Jewish identity as homogenous eternal victims and always intentionally innocent ended with Gaza.”   

“These simplistic and reductionist narratives about the Holocaust and Jewish identity were exploited by the Zionists for the last 60 years to legitimate their fundamentalist Jewish state built upon the practices and methods of settler colonialism against the Palestinians.”                  

“Hitlerism as a continuation of colonial racist ideology came back to hunt Palestinians this time at the hands of European Jews who ironically were escaping from the Nazi Holocaust.” 

“...the Holocaust was always manipulated, abused, and institutionalized by the Israeli settler colonialist state from its foundation in 1948 until today to justify its colonial domination, expansion, and terror.”

Grosfoguel specializes in anti-colonial rhetoric. Rather than a past vestige, Grosfoguel maintains that colonialism is an ongoing attempt by Western nations—particularly Israel and the United States, to maintain dominance throughout the world. Grosfoguel lectures that the capitalistic, Christian-centered West is able to bleed poorer nations dry to maintain their wealth. He claims that Christianity itself has given rise to genocides around the world, as <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z8ISZolAMw&amp;ab_channel=IHRCtv=2m4s">“pre-modern” societies were far more peaceful</a> than modern, Western nations.

To Grosfoguel, the concept of human rights is a Western farce that is used to justify foreign invasions. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7jFaJf-aVE&amp;ab_channel=IHRCtv=9m46s">He has claimed</a> that America is a “rogue state” that has murdered upwards of 70 million people.

“Here comes the quintessential rogue state in the world, USA, calling other nations rogue states….This is really amazing, because this country, the last 60 years, has killed more than 70 million people.”  

In the same lecture, he held nothing back when grotesquely claiming that former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfield <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7jFaJf-aVE&amp;ab_channel=IHRCtv=7m0s">should have been put to death</a> alongside Sadam Hussein for his crimes as an imperialist:

“So Donald Rumsfield should have been sitting alongside Sadam Hussein and been judged, ok? And been hanged together with him.”  

Grosfoguel travels frequently to speak about his views on decolonization and is renowned among the Left for his views on the subject. In 2018, he was invited to deliver <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pwX2ZQl0C0&amp;t=3173s&amp;ab_channel=LuiginoBracciRoa-Situaci%C3%B3nenVenezuela">opening remarks</a> addressing this topic at a Caracas-based conference hosted by Nicholas Maduro. Grosfoguel was well received at the conference and can be seen warmly greeting the dictator below.

<a href="https://gse.berkeley.edu/zeus-leonardo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Zeus Leonardo</a> is a Professor in the<a href="https://gse.berkeley.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Graduate School of Education</a> at the University of <a href="https://www.berkeley.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">California-Berkeley</a>. According to his university profile, Dr. Leonardo’s courses include: “Race, Whiteness Studies, and Education” and “Proseminar: Social Critique of Education.” Much of Dr. Leonardo’s work utilizes critical race theory to analyze areas such as race, class, culture, and gender in education.

Dr. Leonardo is also listed as an Affiliated Faculty Member of the Critical Theory Designated Emphasis at UC Berkeley. As part of the Graduate School of Education, the program explores the “<a href="https://gse.berkeley.edu/academics/ma-and-phd-programs/critical-studies-race-class-and-gender" target="_blank" rel="noopener">root causes and effects of white supremacy and settler colonialism in education</a>,” according to the official website.

Upon completion, those enrolled will earn a certification of “Designated Emphasis and Specialization in Critical Theory.” The university flaunts critical theory’s association with the Frankfurt School of Economics on its website. The Frankfurt School of Economics was <a href="https://www.heritage.org/sites/default/files/2020-12/BG3567.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">composed of openly Marxist economists whose writings eventually formed the basis for critical race theory</a>.

<a href="http://criticaltheory.berkeley.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The page prominently hosts a picture of Angela Davis</a> alongside the post-modernist, <a href="https://fee.org/articles/herbert-marcuse-the-philosopher-behind-the-ideology-of-the-anti-fascists/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Herbert Marcuse</a>. Davis was a member of the Leninist-Black Panther Party as well as the <a href="https://www.fbi.gov/wanted/topten/topten-history/hires_images/FBI-309-AngelaYvonneDavis.jpg/viewhttps://www.fbi.gov/wanted/topten/topten-history/hires_images/FBI-309-AngelaYvonneDavis.jpg/view" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives</a> list for her role in the shooting deaths of four during the Marin County Civic Center Attacks.

As <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2012/03/11/what-is-critical-race-theory/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ben Shapiro writes in Breitbart News</a>, critical race theory is an intellectual branch of Marxism that views America and all of its institutions as being infected with white supremacy—to the point of some, including <a href="https://www.professorwatchlist.org/professor/nikolehannahjones" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nikole Hannah-Jones</a>, even <a href="https://reason.com/2020/09/23/1619-project-nikole-hannah-jones-1776-founding-race-new-york-times/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claiming</a> America’s real founding was in 1619 when the first slave stepped foot in North America, and not 1776 when the American colonies declared independence from England.

Dr. Leonardo has additionally published a number of other articles on critical race theory, race, and education. These include titles such as, “<a href="https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/23793406.2016.1167111?journalCode=rree20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tropics of Whiteness</a>,” “<a href="https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/01596306.2013.822624" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Story of Schooling: Critical Theory and the Educational Racial Contract</a>,” and, “<a href="https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/13613320120117180" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Souls of White Folk</a>.” Another is titled, “<a href="https://www.taylorfrancis.com/books/mono/10.4324/9780203880371/race-whiteness-education-zeus-leonardo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Race, Whiteness, and Education</a>,” in which he affirms the “central role” racism plays in society.

Dr. Leonardo declares racism to be systematic rather than based on individuals and must be addressed as such. He outlines the paper’s intent to interrupt this “dangerous” assertion in order to confront “whiteness” and racism in education. Further, in the same paper, Dr. Leonardo advocates the blending of Marxism and whiteness studies to understand racism. He then addresses the “myth” that whites do not think of themselves exclusively along with racial terms and that capitalism has spread “whiteness” across the globe.

In a separate lecture, Dr. Leonardo lauds critical race theory in even more explicit terms. In a lecture titled, “Who is afraid of CRT?” hosted at George Washington University, the event was <a href="https://gwtoday.gwu.edu/who%E2%80%99s-afraid-critical-race-theory-and-what-exactly-it-anyway" target="_blank" rel="noopener">marketed as an examination of “critical race theory, marxism, and whiteness studies</a>”.

In the lecture, Dr. Leonardo states the intent of his work in whiteness studies is to solve the problem of “whiteness” itself.

“In whiteness studies, whiteness is  the problem to be posed, if not solved.”

The comment is directed at Confederate General Robert E. Lee, who served as Washington and Lee’s President after the cessation of the Civil War. For years, protestors have <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/washington-and-lee-university-may-scrap-its-name-next-month-after-years-of-protest/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">demanded the removal of Lee from the university’s name and denounced the General for his connections to slavery.</a>
Dr. Casey was among 100 other professors at the university <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20200708003710/https://richmond.com/news/washington-and-lee-faculty-vote-to-change-the-universitys-name/article_c5141929-035b-598b-b2a5-2e29da73aa48.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">who called for the removal of Lee from the university name in the summer of 2020</a>. The faculty voted by a margin of 79-21% for the removal of Lee&#8217;s name. In a subsequent interview, he admits that many faculty voted out of concern that they would “end up on the wrong side” of history.
“We feel like we’re going to end up on the wrong side of this as an institution and that it will harm us&#8230;Everyone who was in that conversation feels that the best thing for our institution is to drop our affiliation with Lee.”
The board of Trustees would later vote 22-6 to keep the name while committing $225 million as part of a “strategic plan” to achieve racial equity.

In 2014, Lueck <a href="https://townhall.com/watchdog/wisconsin/2015/02/19/professor-uw-whitewater-scott-walker-n7213">offered extra-credit</a> to her freshman English class if they participated in a protest against then-governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker. The protest was in response to proposed budget cuts against the university where Lueck taught. Students were to write a paper about their experiences.

In 2014, Lueck <a href="https://townhall.com/watchdog/wisconsin/2015/02/19/professor-uw-whitewater-scott-walker-n7213">offered extra-credit</a> to her freshman English class if they participated in a protest against then-governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker. The protest was in response to proposed budget cuts against the university where Lueck taught. Students were to write a paper about their experiences.

<a href="https://sociology.rutgers.edu/faculty/affliliated-graduate-faculty/541-kumar-deepa">Dr. Deepa Kumar</a> is a Professor of Media Studies as well as Middle Eastern Studies at Rutgers University. She argued on Twitter that the U.S. military is worse than ISIS. Kumar wrote on Twitter, "Yes ISIS is brutal, but US is more so, 1.3 million killed in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan."

<a href="http://womens-studies.rutgers.edu/faculty/core-faculty/143-jasbir-puar">Dr. Jasbir Puar</a>, a professor at Rutgers University, was invited to speak at Vassar. Her lecture was titled “Inhumanist Biopolitics: How Palestine Matters.” In her lecture, she accuses Israel of “stunting” growth of Palestinian bodies through scientific experiment as well as harvesting their organs.

<a href="http://www.kevin-allred.com/">Kevin Allred</a> was an adjunct instructor at Rutgers University. He underwent a psych evaluation after a series of questionable and possibly threatening tweets relating to Trump and the Second Amendment. He also went to Twitter after the election to complain that Rutgers had not publicly ensured the safety of students after Trump won. He also teaches a class called "Politicizing Beyonce". He was <a href="https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2016/11/21/rutgers-places-adjunct-leave-tweets-he-says-were-based-rhetoric-president-elect">placed</a> on administrative leave as of 2016

<a href="https://rcws10.rutgers.edu/faculty/Chikindas/">Professor Michael Chikindas</a>, Rutgers University, posted frequent anti-Semitic comments, at one point referring to Jewish people as “international fat Jewish pockets.” “These jewish [sic] motherf*****s do not control me. They can go f**k each other in their fat a***s - you see, I really do not have anything to loose [sic], hence nothing to be controlled,” he wrote in response to an article titled “The Globalists: Who Control Us!”.

<a href="http://history.rutgers.edu/faculty-directory/174-markowitz-norman">Dr. Norman Markowitz</a> is a Professor of History at Rutgers University. Dr. Markowitz is also an active member of the Communist Party USA since 1978.  He writes and teaches about communism using his “Marxist Perspective.” As a supporter of Obama, Markowitz said that it would be good if Obama’s policies were labeled socialist because it would bring socialism to the forefront and looked at more seriously as a viable option for Americans. He has been a longtime defender of the Communist spies Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, and has said he has “enormous respect” for Howard Zinn, a Marxist historian.

<a href="https://law.rutgers.edu/directory/view/mbk69" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Margo Kaplan</a> is a Professor of Law at <a href="https://law.rutgers.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rutgers University Law School</a> in Camden, New Jersey. According to her university biography, she teaches courses on “Criminal Law, Health Law and Policy, and Sex Crimes” and explores the “legal limitations on intimate decisions.”

Dr. Kaplan has spent her academic career attempting to normalize pedophilia. In a paper for the <a href="https://scholarlycommons.law.wlu.edu/wlulr/vol72/iss1/4/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Washington and Lee Law Review</a>, she advocates for the reclassification of pedophilia as a mental disorder so that pedophiles may be awarded more civil rights:

“...we should not categorically deny pedophilia the civil rights protections afforded to other mental disorders without a convincing normative justification supported by cogent scientific evidence. Strengthening civil rights protections for those with pedophilia also increases access to treatment and support that helps prevent child abuse.”

In a similar piece for the <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/06/opinion/pedophilia-a-disorder-not-a-crime.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York</a><a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/06/opinion/pedophilia-a-disorder-not-a-crime.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Times</a>—titled, "Pedophilia: A Disorder, Not a Crime,"—Dr. Kaplan attempts a sickening effort to lure readers into sympathizing with pedophiles by characterizing pedophiles as adolescents with harmless, childhood crushes.

“THINK back to your first childhood crush. Maybe it was a classmate or a friend next door. Most likely, through school and into adulthood, your affections continued to focus on others in your approximate age group. But imagine if they did not. By some estimates, 1 percent of the male population continues, long after puberty, to find themselves attracted to prepubescent children. These people are living with pedophilia, a sexual attraction to prepubescents that often constitutes a mental illness. Unfortunately, our laws are failing them and, consequently, ignoring opportunities to prevent child abuse.”

Her intellectual sleight of hand is prevalent in both pieces. Kaplan blames the abuse of children partially on what she views as the severity in which society treats pedophilia, resulting in pedophiles abstaining from seeking treatment.

When later interviewed by <a href="https://www.phillymag.com/news/2014/10/06/pedophilia-not-a-crime-rutgers-margo-kaplan/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Philadelphia Magazine</a>, Dr. Kapland claimed to be “shocked” at the amount of support she had received, accusing critics she did have of not even reading her article.

<a href="https://history.rutgers.edu/people/faculty/details/1143-bray-mark">Mark Bray</a> is a part-time lecturer in the Department of History at Rutgers University.

Bray first gained notoriety in 2017 when he <a href="https://www.mhpbooks.com/books/antifa/">authored</a> "The Anti-Fascist Handbook," and offered to <a href="https://campusreform.org/?id=14972">donate</a> half of the proceeds to ANTIFA.

Bray fully endorses ANTIFA’s embrace of violence as a tactic, and often describes it as “self-defense”. He has <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=9616">stated</a> that in order to “preemptively” shut down far-right events and gatherings,  “physical violence against white supremacists is both ethically justifiable and strategically effective.”

Soon after publication, he appeared on NBC to <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/antifa-violence-ethical-author-explains-why-n796106">defend</a> the use of force against opposing protestors. He claimed that as an illiberal organization, ANTIFA has and will continue to shut down the free speech of the far right.

Bray recently penned an op-ed in the <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2020/06/01/trump-antifa-terrorist-organization/">Washington Post</a> in the midst of mass-rioting following the death of George Floyd. After expressing sympathy with the looters, Bray claims that police officers are, in fact, deadlier than ANTIFA.  He wrote, “...and in the United States, ANTIFA have never killed anyone, unlike their enemies in Klan hoods and squad cars.” 

After his views were <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/red-alert-politics/dartmouth-president-disavows-professor-justified-antifa-violence-self-defense">condemned</a> by Dartmouth University - his employer at the time - Bray soon began lecturing at Rutgers, where his university biography describes him as a “historian of human rights, terrorism, and politics in Modern Europe.”

<a href="https://africanastudies.rutgers.edu/people/core-faculty/people-list/30-faculty/140-brittney-cooper">Brittney Cooper</a> is an associate professor of Africana and Women’s and Gender Studies at Rutgers University. Much of her research and writing centers around the intersections of race, feminism, and gender. Cooper’s work has led her to develop a number of bizarre opinions:

 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">While Cooper claims that most American Christians worship a God of “white supremacy and patriarchy,” she chooses to<a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/04/01/the_rights_made_up_god_how_bigots_invented_a_white_supremacist_jesus/"> worship a Jesus that was “queer”</a> and “married to a prostitute."</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">White families, like Mitt Romney’s,<a href="https://www.salon.com/2014/01/07/white_supremacy_wins_again_melissa_harris_perry_and_the_racial_false_equivalence/"> can’t properly raise black children</a>.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Linear time is a product of a Euro-centric world, or in short,<a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/rutgers-professor-even-the-concept-of-time-is-racist/"> our concept of time is racist.</a></li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">A founding principle of our nation is that black people are inhuman, therefore<a href="https://www.salon.com/2015/04/29/black_americas_baltimore_schism_why_the_freddie_gray_tragedy_demands_serious_soul_searching/"> riots are really just resistance</a> against an unjust system.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">BREXIT was the result of<a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=7760"> white nationalism.</a></li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">And obesity in the black community is<a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=13866"> caused by racism</a>.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Cooper has publicly attacked conservatives on multiple occasions, most recently during a Livestream commentary on the DNC. Before launching into a tirade accusing Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas for “demolishing the civil rights movement,”</li>

Cooper has attributed most of the deaths from the pandemic to racism and conservatives, stating that, “I feel like most Black people are clear that this utterly absurd push to re-open the country is all about a gross necropolitical calculation that it is Black people who are dying disproportionately from COVID,” and <a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/rutgers-university-prof-reopening-the-country-is-about-killing-black-people/">blaming Trump supporters for the hundreds of thousands of deaths</a> due to the coronavirus.

Cooper has previously stated that a conservative’s beliefs are “rooted in racism.” In an appearance on MSNBC, <a href="https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/duncan-schroeder/2020/08/30/deranged-msnbc-pundit-goes-hateful-rant-against-trump-voters">Cooper stated that conservatives have a desire for power</a> at the expense of black and brown Americans.

Cooper has denigrated conservatives throughout her career along racial lines. <a href="https://www.c-span.org/video/?444245-2/eloquent-rage&amp;playEvent">During a speech in Baltimore</a>, she stated that as white men lose their power, they will continue to “terrorize” black men and women. In a previous thread, she stated that the black community is being eaten alive by “capitalism, patriarchy, and racism,” and white people won’t feel any negative consequences of these systems so long as they can continue to displace white people through systems like gentrification.

Ms. <a href="https://crimjust.rutgers.edu/people/faculty-directory/details/30-faculty/faculty/620-erakat-noura">Noura Erakat</a> is an Assistant Professor of Africana Studies at Rutgers University. According to her university profile, Professor Erakat specializes in fields that include international law, humanitarian law, human rights law, national security law, refugee law, and critical race theory. A harsh critic of the state of Israel, the professor has repeatedly demonized and called for the destruction of the only Jewish state in the world.

Professor Erakat’s work frequently characterizes Israel as a racist state that is equivalent to the apartheid-era South African government. In a November 2019 interview with DemocracyNow, she stated, ”<a href="https://www.democracynow.org/2019/11/19/noura_erakat_israeli_settlements_trump_announcement">we are witnessing the entrenchment of an apartheid regime</a>, and the U.S. [is] at the helm of that process.”

Professor Erakat repeats this false claim to justify her support of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. In a November 2020 video panel discussion with the Middle East Institute, Professor Erakat calls on the world <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S7ZkKMFUuU&amp;t=3956s">to resist and alienate Israel via adherence to a BDS platform</a>.

BDS—short for Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions—supporters embrace the following three tenets as a feature of the campaign:

- Boycotting all goods that originate from the state of Israel;

- Divesting all funds (private or public) that are allocated to Israel; and

- Placing sanctions exclusively on Israel.

Mr. Omar Barghouti, a co-founder of the BDS movement, admits that the ultimate outcome of these steps is the <a href="https://twitter.com/StandWithUs/status/1267561561565958144">dismantlement of the state of Israel</a>.

Professor Erakat likewise calls for Israel to be destroyed and replaced by an Arab-majority Palestinian state. As reported by The Spectator in July 2019, Ms. Erakat spoke at an event in Washington, DC, where she <a href="https://spectator.org/noura-erakat-recounts-her-anxiety-over-israels-existence/">advocated for Arabs to “help indigenize” Jews in Israel </a>in order to achieve a sole Palestinian state or a “one-state solution.”

Professor Erakat is far more brazen in calling for the outright destruction of Israel when speaking at anti-Israel protests around the country. During one march in May 2021—captured by News2Share—she called for the <a href="https://twitter.com/FordFischer/status/1393739882825195521/">liberation of Palestine, “from the river to the sea.</a>”

According to the Israeli newspaper Arutz Sheva, the chant, “from the river to the sea,” was <a href="https://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/291203">popularized by terrorist groups such as the Palestinian Liberation Organization</a> (PLO). The phrase alludes to the destruction of Israel—and thus the genocide of the nation’s Jews—between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/1948/08/02/archives/aim-to-oust-jews-pledged-by-sheikh-head-of-moslem-brotherhood-says.html">The chant is thought to originate from the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan el-Banna</a>, who was qouted by The New York Times stating, "If the Jewish state becomes a fact, and this is realized by the Arab peoples, they will drive the Jews who live in their midst into the sea."

Even though Professor Erakat can be heard calling for the “denuclearization of Israel” in the same speech, she had in 2013 <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I20HOx5zfv0&amp;ab_channel=JFhsfohhMN">condemned efforts to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program as “racist</a>.”

She further <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tv/CMzhsZtBfgg/?igshid=5p918cganhq1">defended this position</a> in a video uploaded to her Instagram in March of 2021, arguing there is no contradiction in opposing sanctions for Iran while supporting sanctions on Israel.

During a separate march in May of 2021,  Ms. Erakat can be heard chanting “By spirit and by blood, we redeem you, Palestine!” in front of the Israeli Embassy.

In April of 2020, Noura Erakat’s cousin, Mr. Ahmed Erakat, was killed after <a href="https://www.algemeiner.com/2020/06/29/palestinian-rams-a-checkpoint-death-lies-and-videotape/">ramming his car into an Israeli checkpoint during a failed terrorist attack</a>. Despite the publication of footage verifying the incident and a pipe bomb later being found in the van by investigators, Ms. Erakat continues to claim that he was murdered by Israeli forces.

Dr. James Livingston is <a href="https://history.rutgers.edu/faculty-directory/172-livingston-james" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a tenured Professor of History</a> at Rutgers University. His specialty is listed as Modern US: Intellectual and Economic History. He considers himself an “economic historian” and professionally writes many publications about politics, economics, and working in the United States.

In his personal time, Dr. Livingston often takes to Facebook to discuss similar topics, but in a less professional manner. <a href="https://pen.org/press-clip/white-professor-accused-of-antiwhite-racism/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">In a Facebook post from May 31, 2018</a>, Dr. Livingston denounces the white race and belligerently asserts he “hates white people.” Later in the post, he calls white Americans “little caucasian assholes who know their parents will approve of anything they do” and “little shitheads.”

When Facebook flagged the post and took it down, rather than apologize for his racist rant, he posted the following:

Shortly after his anti-white tirade, Rutgers launched an investigation into his posts. The university stated that they received several anonymous complaints about the posts, calling them to take action against the Professor. Dr. Livingston claimed he was making a statement about gentrification and told university officials that white supremacists were sending him threatening messages.

The investigation was headed by Carolyn Dellatore, the associate director of the Office of Employment Equity. <a href="https://www.thefire.org/rutgers-investigation-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Her investigation found that</a> “given Professor Livingston’s insistence on making disparaging racial comments, a reasonable student may have concerns that he or she would be stigmatized in his classes because of his or her race. As such, Professor Livingston’s comments have violated university policy.” He argued, however, that his posts were not racist because white people cannot be discriminated against. He also argued that the first amendment gave him the right to freedom of speech.

The university initially decided to sanction Dr. Livingston, but they <a href="https://www.northjersey.com/story/news/2018/11/15/no-punishment-rutgers-university-professor-over-white-people-comments-facebook/2016377002/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ultimately reversed their decision</a> in November 2018, clearing him of all charges. Dr. Livingston is still teaching at Rutgers University today.

In 2020, O’Mara ran for the House of Representatives in California’s 42nd congressional district. O’Mara describes himself as a scholar on the fascist movement. In a lecture hosted on his <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXGTTNnAaffGVo5TZMXhd8g/featured">Youtube</a> page titled <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojR5EVhar0Y&amp;ab_channel=LiamO%27MaraLiamO%27Mara">Neofascist Dogwhistles, </a>O’Mara accuses prominent conservative figures of racist overtures–stating that mainstream conservatives are increasingly embracing white nationalist positions and Nazi-style symbolism.
O’Mara alleges that conservatives utilize “racist dog whistles&#8221; to appeal to racist voters–which he defines as “grievance culture.” O’Mara claims the argument that Americans are equal is a tactic used by neo-fascists and demagogues.  O’Mara also states that the “Trumpist&#8221; movement is “neofascist.”

He specifically alleges President Donald Trump’s <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sazitj4x6YI&amp;ab_channel=CBSNewsCBSNewsVerified">verbal embrace</a> of the latter is an example of fascism.
At one point, O’Mara discusses his belief that populism is an element of fascism–while displaying a picture of President Donald Trump. He states that most “right-populist movements”–like Donald Trump’s–are usually fascist.

According to his university biography, his efforts are concentrated around researching “race, racism, their histories, and contemporary practices.”
During the 2018 Senate confirmation hearings of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, James Thomas <a href="https://www.wlox.com/2018/10/18/put-fingers-their-salads-ole-miss-professor-urges-harassment-senators/">tweeted</a>,
“Don’t Interrupt a Senator’s meal, y’all. Put your whole damn finders in their salads. Take their apps and distribute them to other diners. Bring boxes and take their food home with you on the way out.  They don’t deserve your civility.” 
Thomas’s tweet came in response to a viral video of <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ted-cruz-heckled-by-radical-protesters-in-dc-restaurant-video">Senator Ted Cruz</a> and his wife being heckled out of a Virginia restaurant by aggressive protestors.
Following receiving tenure from Ole Miss, James proceeded to refer to conservative teens as akin to the Hitler Youth:
“MAGA teens are modern day Hitlerjugend. Got a uniform and everything.” 
“When I said MAGA teens are the modern day Hitlerjugend, I meant it. What we’re watching at this rally is the aesthetics of fascism.”

<a href="https://uncw.edu/chhs/shahs/about/johnson.html">Dr. Dan Johnson</a> is an Associate Professor for the School of Health and Applied Human Sciences at the University of North Carolina &#8211; Wilmington (UNCW).
On May 17, 2021, Dr. Johnson wrote a Facebook post—obtained by the site Campus Reform—that stated, “<a href="https://www.campusreform.org/article?id=17701">Blow up Republicans</a>.”
No further explanation was given by Dr. Johnson for his animosity towards conservatives. After his post began receiving scrutiny, Dr. Johnson later wrote on his personal profile, “Time for my summer break from Facebook.”
In a statement to Campus Reform, the University stated they had “appropriately addressed” Dr. Johnson’s post. They later confirmed to the site that Dr. Johnson would still be teaching in the Fall 2021 semester.
Haylie Davis—a former student of Dr. Johnson’s—provided the following statement to Campus Reform: 
“Putting away any personal political preference aside, I think this matter should be addressed and dealt [with] in the same manner that it would be if the word &#8216;Republican&#8217; was replaced with any other word. If the post stated &#8216;Blow up women,&#8217; &#8216;Blow up homosexuals,&#8217; &#8216;Blow up Catholics,&#8217; etc.” 
She continued, “He not only represents a major university in the state of North Carolina, but he also represents a program of the university that prides itself in inclusivity. That statement is not something that represents an inclusive and accepting environment. In his position, political preference should not be expressed in such an aggressive manner that lacks the &#8217;empathy&#8217; that is expected and valued in today’s society and on college campuses.&#8221;
UPDATE: Through UNVW&#8217;s Office of University Relations, <a href="https://www.starnewsonline.com/story/news/2021/06/30/uncw-professor-dan-johnson-apologizes-deleted-facebook-post/7811843002/">Dr. Dan Johnson has released an apology</a>, which is included below:
&#8220;I posted a poorly worded expression of political frustration on my now-deleted personal Facebook page. I profoundly regret it,&#8221; Johnson said in his statement. &#8220;This statement does not reflect my personal values or UNCW’s culture of civil and respectful discourse. My attempt to &#8216;blow off steam&#8217; understandably caused concern among many students, parents, alumni and other members of the UNCW community. I deeply care about the students, faculty and staff at UNCW, and I apologize to them and the university and Wilmington community.&#8221;

No further explanation was given by Dr. Johnson for his animosity towards conservatives. After his post began receiving scrutiny, Dr. Johnson later wrote on his personal profile, “Time for my summer break from Facebook.”

In a statement to Campus Reform, the University stated they had “appropriately addressed” Dr. Johnson’s post. They later confirmed to the site that Dr. Johnson would still be teaching in the Fall 2021 semester.

Haylie Davis—a former student of Dr. Johnson’s—provided the following statement to Campus Reform: 

“Putting away any personal political preference aside, I think this matter should be addressed and dealt [with] in the same manner that it would be if the word 'Republican' was replaced with any other word. If the post stated 'Blow up women,' 'Blow up homosexuals,' 'Blow up Catholics,' etc.” 

She continued, “He not only represents a major university in the state of North Carolina, but he also represents a program of the university that prides itself in inclusivity. That statement is not something that represents an inclusive and accepting environment. In his position, political preference should not be expressed in such an aggressive manner that lacks the 'empathy' that is expected and valued in today’s society and on college campuses."

UPDATE: Through UNVW's Office of University Relations, <a href="https://www.starnewsonline.com/story/news/2021/06/30/uncw-professor-dan-johnson-apologizes-deleted-facebook-post/7811843002/">Dr. Dan Johnson has released an apology</a>, which is included below:

"I posted a poorly worded expression of political frustration on my now-deleted personal Facebook page. I profoundly regret it," Johnson said in his statement. "This statement does not reflect my personal values or UNCW’s culture of civil and respectful discourse. My attempt to 'blow off steam' understandably caused concern among many students, parents, alumni and other members of the UNCW community. I deeply care about the students, faculty and staff at UNCW, and I apologize to them and the university and Wilmington community."
